Sorry guys, but this game really isn't my cup of tea (speed of posting, role play wise and so on), I am going to bow out of it.

Still, I hope that you can go on and that you have a good time!

Stunned but still overly curious, Laurentii carefully approaches the bridge, torch in hand. Partway, he says, absent-mindedly:

"Well done Alfonso..."

Upon the bridge, he looks down into the water, trying to find the moss. It takes only a few seconds for the novelty of the situation wear off. Once it does, he extends a hand to help sir Jegman up and return with him toward the rest of the group. There, he waits for Shalewen to fully regain her composure before speaking.

"That was... surprising. Should we expect anything else like this in the swamp?" he says, himself searching his extensive knowledge for any other hazards that might be found in such an area.

K.Nautre or Geography: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

"So, is everyone well enough to continue the tracking?" he asks to the others, looking at each of them in turn, looking slighly concerned.

Laurentii watches impressed by Alfonso's display of magic while his mind races to try to find what caused some of their companions to head into the moss. Deducing that the moss must be secreting something that influences people's mind, he stays were he is, kneeling with an unlit torch in hands.

"Lou, wait, come back. We do not need someone else to fall pray to this mold."

Laurentii stops in his tracks, a few feet behind Lou.

"Fire! Its vulnerable to fire! Do you have anything to help? Alfonso?" he says, quite alarmed.

Not waiting for their answers, he quickly moves his backpack in front of himself by rapidly switching its wait on a single shoulder. Then, he retrieves both his flint and steel and a torch.

Shouldn't we be switching to rounds?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I would appreciate more posting in general. I usually hold myself to posting once a day, if other people have posted in the meanwhile.

Of course, this wholly depends on the group. From what I can see, it seems that the fight is motivating people to write. However, it would be nice if it was so outside of battle too...

... on both the RP side and the more mechanic one. See you around on the boards

Too bad, this is quite a blow to the team...

Laurentii open his eyes wide in surprise but quickly recovers. As soon as he does, he bursts into a sprint and follows Lou as closely as possible. Focused, he forgets about the mosquitoes, wetness, and such, his mind races, reviewing all the books he has read in the past and trying to identify what this moss might be. Simultaneously, he draws his rapier, certain it might help.

Knowledge: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12for all knowledges or -4 for dungeoneering, local and planes

I hope things go as well as they can go while you are there...

Laurentii follows the others, now happy to be on the a trail rather then in the watery marsh. As he walks, he looks around, curious about this vegetation he has never seen and also curious to know who would ever take such a trail to go fishing. Clearly, there were better places than the marsh to do this.

"Has any of you ever heard of the people who inhabit this swamp? On my way here I was told there was a witch... although, from what I heard, she sounded pretty harmless. There could be others, even though it seems like a harsh place to make a living."

K.local, try to remember of any one else: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Does the trail look well kept?

Laurentii nods to Shalewen, glad to have her expertise and to be learning these kind of things. As for Alfonso's clean clothes, they elicit a crooked smile but not comments.

Well well, this nobles is eithers really careful as he walks or has more tricks than I would have imagined.

Laurentii will follow wherever Shalewn wants to lead them.

At first, Laurentii at been excited to experiment a hike in nature. However, the experience had quickly become a string of uncomfortable events, branches snapping in the face, wet boots, mosquito bites, plus, the weight of his pack was slowly but surely tiring the elf.

In the process of holding a branch from snapping at Lou, Laurentii noticed the change in direction of their guide. Clueless as to the cause, he slowly approache Shalewen, trying to be noisy enough that he would not surprise but also being steathy enough that he would not be hear by goblins.

Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Reaching Shalewen, Laurentii spoke soflty to her:
"What happened? Why the sudden change in direction?"

Werent the mercenaries following this same track? If so, did they follow even in the thick brush?

Laurentii is ready to move!

Totally missed that Kirpate had spoken. I shall rectify this now.

"Understood, I..." Laurentii answers to sir Jegman, before coming to the realization that he had just heard Kirpate speak.

For a moment, the elf stop his search for left over fireworks as he looks toward the raven in puzzled amusement.

Interesting. Quite interesting, this man command his tattoo into a bird which can speak... I shall have to remember that.

"Not to be careless, but I agree with Shalewen. If we follow the goblin track, we are likely to find both the goblins and the group of mercenaries who went after them. Plus, with such a companion, maybe you could send him as a scout. That would be secure, no?"

Laurentii joins the others as the search the caravan. At first excited, he takes a look at everything. Yet, the skilled or magical ways with which Alfonso and Shalewen uncover clues make him reconsider where his strenght lies. Letting go of the fabric he was handling, he walks out of the road, trying to find left over bits of fireworks.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

From the side of the road he answers to Lou:
"Perhaps... track the trackers, should make things easier, no? And hopefully, they were wise enough to avoid the brigands. What do you think Sir Trig? Ever faced such circumstances in the army?"

I am confused, Ouisky, are you saying that the group is still facing the guard or that it reached the site of the raid?

As Laurentii finally catches up with Shalewen, thanks to the stop she made to speak with the guard. As he watches the women attempt to get information, he also listens to Alfonso's answer to his querry.

"I actually enjoy all the talking. It is amusing. I still think the idea of smugglers providing goblin's with fireworks makes for a better story to your noble friends. It is more comical and would appeal to them more, no?" he finishes, not really awaiting for an answer.

Laurentii turns to Lou when he arrives, and shakes his head in answer to the Tian's question.

"We believe Shalewen did, but it seems it was not the case..."

As he spoke, Laurentii kept watch of Shalewen's interaction with the guard. Seeing the women struggling a bit based on the result from the diplomacy roll the elf approaches them.

"Hello, sorry to interrupt your discussion. We he points to the group are looking for site of the latest goblin ambush in order to stop the threat. Please, could you point us in the right direction."

Aid another diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

By the way, Laurentii will be following Shalewen until he realizes that she does not know where to go.

It got quite complicated here's how I see it:

Everyone in the inn.

Guard post sign.

Trig, Laurentii, Shalewen read the sign.

Shalewen leaves in a hurry but is stopped by Laurentii and Shalelu outside the inn.

Alfonso, Trig and Lou join Shalewen, Laurentii and Shalelu outside the inn.

Short discussion, Lou helpos Shalewen to get away from the group because she is shy.

Alfonso and Trig leave to see the mayor.

Unknown event, chilling in front of the inn?

Alfonso and Trig come back and inform the others.

Shalewen call Alfonso a coward.

Shalewen and Laurentii leave to buys Laurentii new stuff.

Alfonso tries to decipher something at the inn (there is no actual meeting with Koya since she is out of town).

Shalewen and Laurentii come back at the inn.

Everyone is sitting at the same table at the inn (implied by Ouisky).

Laurentii asks for the others to state their name and purpose.

Shalewen leaves abruptly, everyone (or not everyone?) follows her.

Laurentii nods to Trig and Shalewen as they explain who they are and what their goals are. Once everyone his done speaking, he quickly packs his stuff and heads outside to follow them, only turning his head momentarily to try and hear more about the conversation that his going on in the kitchen.

Outdoor, Laurentii quickens his steps to close the gap between him and Alfonso and walks side by side with him for a few minutes.

"So, you are coming with us. I am surprised... I guess that recounting how you found a ring of Tian firework smugglers who sold their wares to goblins could make for an interesting story while you drink cognac by the fireplace..." he says with a crooked, yet friendly, smile "Oh, and good idea to start with the site of the last attack. Do you know where it is [ooc]Do we know dear GM?[ooc]"

Listening to the answer, Laurentii watches Shalewen who is a few dozen feet in front of them.

Hard to believe there is someone more eager than I am....

Sorry guys, I was waiting to see whether Lou would introduce himself to the group, and tonight was my IRL game. Anyway, going to post now!

==Earlier, when Alfonso was called a coward by Shalewen==

Laurentii smiled upon hearing Shalewen's comment.
"Maybe, maybe not. From my experience, many nobles tend to hide their true intent behind a mask of neutrality. I am sure that mask would stay on even if someone were to be killed by the goblins, yet, inside, they would be troubled. I hope." he says, more playful than serious as he gives a side glance to Alfonso.

Trying to goad Alfonso, let's see how that plays out!

==Now, all at the rusty dragon==
Laurentii sits down at a table with the others, arranging his belonging, looking quite enthused.

When Julen speaks, Laurentii lifts his head. After giving a quizzical look to Lou, wondering what could make him embarassed, the elf responds to Julen:
"hummm, you could say that. But I am not a fan of cutting ears, or heads. Just trying to find a way to stops theses attacks. We are about to sit and discuss the subject, want to join us?"

Laurentii looks around at the others, trying to determine what the best course of action would be.

"Lots of strangers, most seem to barely know each other... not really good. Can I trust all of them? Shalewen comes well recommended... Lou is a cook here. What about the gnome and this new man."and Alfonso if he came.

After a moment, Laurentii looks at each of the people around the table before speaking:

"First, I think we should all introduce ourselves. I will start, I am Laurentii. I have little experience with wilds, but I am a quick learner. I have some knowledge of fireworks and know Tian. Seeing as the fireworks that were used by the goblins are of Tian design, I think I could be of help. " he looks to the person on his left, waiting to see how they will present themselves.

@ Ouisky: I personally do not mind going on the goblin quest. Not that I enjoy slaying goblins, but rather because I have already played that part of the AP and I know that genocide is not the only solution.
If you were to change the first part, I would not mind either.

However, if I was forced to vote, I would pick the original version to avoid increasing your workload.

@ Shalewen and Alfonso: Although I haven't read Alfonso's background or personality (I like surprises), I think that his dislike for a goblin genocide is an interesting reason for him to join.

Also, I agree that going on the adventure simply to get money from goblin slaying is pretty awfull (so does Laurentii). Moreover, Alfonso would not be the only one in the group looking for a peaceful solution, as I have tried to hint in my posts, Laurentii is not really interested in slaying goblins, but rather on making sure that no one comes to harm (Shalewen first). He will definitely not collect ears, and only kill in self defense.

Note: all what follows should be read as having a neutral tone and not as a critic on any arguments that have been made so far. I am simply trying to provide some type of reasoning that might justify the characters actions: As for the issue about whether Gutwad/the licktoads are the source of the trouble... I have to agree with Alfonso that it is not clear (our characters do not own all the necessary clues). But do they need to? Is it so awful to be the pawns of Sandpoint's mayor and Sheriff... they are supposed to be pretty decent people! One could also see that the previous mercenaries might not be dead and instead are in need of help. Finally, even though no one has died from the goblin attacks, does not mean that no one was injured.

@ Alfonso: Interestingly, in the previous game I was in, there was a goblin paladin who played extremely well his character. He put his life in danger many times to save other goblins (our group had adopted the Licktoads by the time the game died!).

Bedroll........ 5 lbs .. 0.1 gp
MessKit........ 1 lbs .. 0.2 gp
Flint and steel ..... .. 1 gp
Torch.......... 1 lbs .. 0.01 gp
Soap........... 0.5lbs . 0.25 gp
Trail rations.. 5 lbs .. 2.5 gp
Waterskin...... 4 lbs .. 1 gp
Silk rope,50ft. 5 lbs .. 10 gp

Here is what Laurentii got, anything should be added?

Cost 16.6 gp. Deducted from his funds.

Laurentii reads what Shalewen wrote into his journal, nodding every so often with a smile.

"Many thanks, were should we meet when..." he stops midway when he notices that Shalewen has stepped aside.

After giving her and Lou a puzzled look he turns toward Alfonso and Trig before they leave for the mayor's office.

"Yes, it seems that Shalewen, there, will escort me as we try to find a way to stop the goblin's raids on caravans." he answers to the gnome's inquiry about his plans with Shalewen.

Laurentii stops to look at Alfonso, waiting to see whether he is also interested in the hunt. As the man speaks, Laurentii gives him a crooked smile, half amused by his humour (including the prestidigitation).

"I agree, cutting ears sounds gruesome. However, making sure no man or woman comes to harm is important." turning his head back and forth between Shalewen and Trig he continues "What about meeting at the Rusty Dragon in an hour or two, once I have the required equipment. We can make our plans there."

Finally, Laurentii turns toward Shalelu.
"What about you, won't you join us. Shalewen seems to value your opinion, and, I imagine, your skills."

Following this, Laurentii will head back to the Rusty Dragon to finish his meal and then find a place where he can buy some mundane equipment.

Laurentii looks down at himself in appraisal and then back at Shalewen, his expression one of quizzical amusement.

"Well, I did leave all my things at the Rusty Dragon. Still, you are right, I do not own bandages. However, I do have some money to buy extras that I might need, the first being bandages. Could any of you suggest anything else I could buy ?"

As he speaks, Laurentii absent mindedly gives some more salmon to Shadow while slowly approaching Shalewen and Shalelu. Once he makes it to within one meter of them(if he can make it without being attacked by Shadow, or Shalewen!), he takes the relaxe paused of someone who is having a friendly conversation with two acquaintances. His body language presents a mix of happy go lucky and strange self assurance, as if he had already been accepted into the group.

Laurentii is not even wearing his cloak or armor right now.

Laurentii frown at being called a child, but quickly got over it and focuses most of his attention on the exchange between two woodswomen, while he absent mindedly get down on one knee and offers some salmon to Shadow.

"No need for apologies " he says to Shalelu before looking back at Shalewen "I did not mean to imply that you were not skilled enough to stop goblin raiders, or that you needed me with you. Although, I did think that if you ever got injured, I would better than your friend here "he points at Shadow "at applying bandages. This was before I knew you had another friend who would join you." he finishes still looking hopeful.

"Oh, also, please do not call me a baby before you have seen what I can and cannot do." he pauses for a moment "So, may I come along and help with the goblin problem? I won't even ask for the bounty, making roads safer is enough for me."

whoops!

Combat healing at low levels should not be a problem, Laurentii will always have his buckler hand free, meaning that he can carry a wand of cure *** wounds at all time. I think that past level 7 things might get a little harder, but by then our paladin should have enought healing to boost the others (and maybe Shalewen too).

Hears flattened, teeth showing, growling... this wolf is getting ready to attack! quickly thinks Laurentii as he lifts his hands, one holding a fork, the other holding a bowl, as a sign of peace.

Still, the elf does not show fear, rather, he seems to stare at the Shadow, trying to decipher the wolf's reaction toward one's putting hands up in the air. However, his stare his broken once Shalelu enters the scene.

"Thank you. It seems that surrendering to a wolf does not work as well as with people!" he says to the elf.

"I am sorry if I scared you. It's simply that I assumed you were going out for the bounty, and, well... I would not miss such an experience for the world. Would you, by any chance, mind if I tag alone? I might not know the woods so well, but I can definitely hold my side in a fight." he naively asks, giving a friendly smile to Shalewen.

Laurentii, eating from the bowl he had brought with him, and still standing in behind the two Kellid men, watched with curiosity as Shalewen left with shadow. As soon as she disappeared outside, it dawne on him that she had left to slay goblins.

No way I am letting such an occasion pass by. he thinks, quickly heading outside.

Once on the street, he calls out to her in elvish just before she turns the corner:

"Hey, you with the wolf! Wait!"
Going to assume she did not hear since she got at the gate in the previous post.

Seeing as she does not stop, Laurentii sprints after her trying to catch up, his bowl of food still in hand. During the chase, he calls out to her a few more times until he reaches the gate of the town.

Will she stop or not? Can't wait to see!
Lou, no problem, its always fun to roleplay these mishaps!

A gentle twitch on Laurentii's lips shows that he his disappointed to have failed at striking a conversation with Lou. Yet, the repeated door slamming and nail hammering quickly takes his mind away from it.

"Please don't let the cook take these away, I will be finishing them." he says to Ameiko with a smile, pointing at his food.

Then, putting some rice into the bowl containing his salmon, Laurentii walks up toward Shalewen and the two Kellid to read the message. Once behind the tree, he takes a bite off the food.

"Yum, good food. pointing at the message That's kind of gruesome. Is there not a better for getting bounty? Or proving the road is safe?"

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 20

1d8 ⇒ 5

Laurentii nods to the gnome sitting next to him before turning his attention to the meal that he is served as well as the one who serves him.

Another person of Tian heritage. Curious, I was certain that Ameiko was the only one in Sandpoint... no, wait... his face does seem familiar. Maybe I just did not pay attention to him last time I was here... silly me. Laurentii thinks, giving a friendly smile to Lou.

"ありがとうございます。It looks quite delicious. Did you cook all this?" he asks, gazing purposefully at Lou, clearly expecting to draw the man away from his duties to have a short chat with him.

Are there any forks provided with the meal?

Tian:
Polite way of thanking someone.

@All: Laurentii spent almost all his life in Magnimar locked up in a library or in various shops across the city. He has only gotten out of the city twice: a year ago to visit the glasswork factory and now, to meet with Ameiko. When he last came to Sandpoint, he was quite focused and mostly only interested by the process of glass making and the Kajitsu family. If he met any of the characters, he most likely does not remember them.

One moment Laurentii was peaceful and dreamt of the fabled land of Tian-Xia. The next moment, his eyes were wide open as he sat straight in his bed. In one quick, yet smooth, motion, the elf is out of bed, picking his clothes and getting dressed as quickly as possible.

"Finally... finally! I will get to speak with miss Kajitsu once more. She might have been asleep when I arrived yesterday, but there is no way I will miss her today even if I have to spend the whole day inside. Ahh... just to think of the information and the tales she must have! I can't wait!"

The smells of the kitchen finally reaching his nostrils awaken his hunger as well as increase his excitement (if at all possible). He hurriedly straightens his clothes, makes sure he is presentable and runs down to the main room of the Rusty Dragon.

A smile appears on his lips when he sees Ameiko. Walking the room to get to the noble and innkeeper, Laurentii notices Shalewen and Shadow and takes a mental note to inquire as to how a wolf can be tamed. Once at the bar, he does his best to greet the Tian in her ancestors language.

"はじめ まして。Laurentii です。"he says, slightly bowing to miss kajitsu.
"I do not know if you remember, but I came to visit your factory a year ago, and... the grumbling of his stomach interrupts him oh, please pardon me. Is the food I am smelling some Tian specialty? I would really like to try some!

Tian:
Nice to meet you. I am Laurentii.

Hi all,

Ouisky, thanks for taking me in. To the others, I am looking forward playing with you! Also, have a nice weekend, without work hopefully!

Lou, how about some eel?

EDIT: Right, the alias thing. I am not a big fan, but I will be fine with it.

Dot.

The turn of event caused by Shauldrek's lie greatly surprises Laurentii, as evidenced by his arched eyebrows.

Oooh... Quite impressive, although dangerous. Yet, considering the city's law, the merchant could get in more trouble than he deserves. I guess I will have to stop by the jail to see whether a bribe is needed...

"So hummm, its getting late, how about I show you the way to the Old Fang? I heard the food is good there." he says, hopeful to finally get a close look of the uncommon members of the group tiger, dragon, kobold and tiefling..

Seeing Shauldrek motionning him to stop, Laurentii puts back his purse on his belt. As the the tiefling, Elric, and Anto present the situation to the guard, Laurentii nods in agreement.

As for the merchant, his face flushes with anger as facts are exposed and with Laurentii taking his proposition back. Worst, it becomes red when he notices that the leader of the guards is an elf.

"This is a free market, I sell to whoever and for whatever price I want. Kni.. Guards, they are the ones who cause problems and keep saying that I am selling bad apples. They even tried to intimidate me and destroyed my stuff. " he says, waving his arms around.

Laurentii goes on nodding.

Note to self: Bluffing can backfire, be careful with the lies.

Trying to keep himself from dancing from foot to foot due to a mix of anxiety and excitement, Laurentti addresses the head guard:
"Well, its not entirely true, we were simply haggling, trying to get apples for a reasonable prices. Its just that the man here he points to Shauldrek got a bit carried away." he finishes, his voice betraying at tinge of excitement.

@Trux/Ouisky: I modified Laurentii's alias to have a line clearly specifying his motivation.

Cut in midway through his invitation by Shauldrek's outburst, Laurentii takes a step back, impressed by the tiefling's strenght and presence. This step is followed by three more when Anto roars. His heart racing from both fear and excitement, the elf freezes for a few seconds unable do detach his eyes from a scene he never even dreamt of witnessing.

Laurentii is taken out of his dreamlike state when the guard are called. First relieved to hear the guard coming, a second glance at the situation makes it quite clear that he is not on the right side of the action.

Four guards surround the group, looking quite frightened by the presend of a wolf, a tiger and an impressive and angry tiefling. The leader, his voice quivering looks at Elric.

"Ca..calm down everyone. You, tell your tiger to stand down. And you, p-please step away from the vendor." he finishes, speaking to Shauldrek.

Laurentii takes his hands away from his rapier as a sign of peace.

Oh my, what to do? Bribes... no, not here... refund.. hummm possible.

"It's all a misunderstanding. Please, no one was wounded. I can even compenstate the vendor for his destroyed merchandise... how about 10 gold pieces?" he says hopeful.

I hope this is enough for the 5 apples... he thinks, truly ignorant.

Hearing the amount, the merchant's eyes open wide before he can control them. Clearly, the compensation is worth much more than even the quasi assault by the tiefling.

Laurentii frowns momentarily surprised that the man would wilfully shout to the crowds that his wares are not infested rather than simply keep it silent. Similarly, many passers-by seem concerned by the announcement and go out of their way to avoid the stand.

Well, that did not go as planned... I guess he is repaid for his racism...

Seeing as the others seem to be getting ready to leave Laurentii absent mindedly smiles to the merchant before turning toward the eclectic group.

If I don't say anything now, they will leave. How to get them to let me tag alone? he thinks, taking a step toward the others his hand slightly stretched toward them.

"Hummm, you know, I have heard of this nice inn called the Old Fang. It has a good reputation. It is not know for its discriminatory attitude. If you want, I can lead you there." he finishes, smiling with an hopeful look.

Today was definitely Laurentii's lucky day. First, he had finally booked a place on a caravan to go to Sandpoint. Even more exciting, its owner, a proud nomadic varisian man named Sandru, who likely had a number of stories adventures to entertain him with. Even more exciting was the fact that by travelling back to Sandpoint, Laurentii he would finally get to meet miss Ameiko Kajitsu again and, hopefully, learn more about the fabled Tian-Xia.

Second, he had spotted a most interesting group composed of various races which he had only read about (and only an hour ago, heard described by Sandru as the guards of the caravan). This diversity excited an exalted him. So roused was his curiosity that he had difficulty stopping himself from shaking.

Quadruped, striped, feline features... must be a tiger. A tiger, oh my, who would have thought that such a beast would live so far north! Ho, ho! this is a pseudodragon. Believed to be a though reader. No, no, a telepath, they are not the same... I wonder if he would hear me if I though hard enough... hummm? And there, is that a kobold? I though they were barely allowed in Magnimar. He must have a derogation. Interesting, interesting... and is that a fiend’s half-breed. What diversity, more instructive than any exhibit found in this city! … and so went Laurentii's though as he unpolitetly and quite obviously stared at the group.

Laurentii’s thoughts were cut short by the altercation taking place. His lack of experience with buying his own food preventing him from forming his own opnion, he hypothesized that these people had more experience than him (none) in this matter, and were most likely right.

Oh.. the kobold is haggling it seems, interesting experience. I will join in and see how it goes.

Walking through the small crowd he arrived at the stall as the merchant was answering to Bawl.

”Yeah, they come from Forbin's orchard and stop bad mouthing my cuz's products, dragon runt...” the merchant was saying before being interrupted by Laurentii.

”You know, I couldn't help but overhear your argument. I have also heard that gargle worms were found on his farm.... and well, the poison they secrete can cause diarrea in humans... that would definitely be bad for business. Oh, look, there are even some dark points on this apple... a telltale sign of gargle worm poison... however, I do recall that reptiles are immune to those... maybe its time to change customers?” the elf said, all along overflowing with exuberance that made his speech sound awkward and out of touch with the content.

There, I changed a bit Laurentii's introduction so that this bit of RP matches his background and can be integrated as an introduction to the AP if needed.

Here is the finalized version of Laurentii (Character for the CelticCircle). His statbloc, slightly more in depth personality and background can be found in the Alias.

On to your questions: I do not think my name has much weight on the forums(although Steven Evil has said nice things here! and he is a great roleplayer too!), I try to keep the number of games I am involved in to a minimum (around 3) in order to juggle as little between characters. As for roleplay, this is what attracted me to pbp. I think my best can be found in the other Jade Regent game I played before (the same one that Steven Evil was in). This link and this one leads to the threads of the game. My character was Sybil Vekker.

Here is the statement of concept of the character (abridged from the previous version I posted):
Laurentii the forlorn elf is a bookworm librarian who seeks to seize the moment and live life to its fullest.
Note: He does not have a family name since he was adopted.

I will posting for the encounter shortly.

Trux, please do tell me if anything is missing.
