Just a simple question regarding dwarves:

DWARVEN WEAPON FAMILIARITY FEAT 1 DWARF Your kin have instilled in you an affinity for hard-hitting weapons, and you prefer these to more elegant arms. You are trained with the battle axe, pick, and warhammer. You also gain access to all uncommon dwarf weapons. For the purpose of determining your proficiency, martial dwarf weapons are simple weapons and advanced dwarf weapons are martial weapons.

As this applies for determining your proficiency when a fighter gains

Fighter Weapon Mastery 5th Hours spent training with your preferred weapons, learning and developing new combat techniques, have made you particularly effective with your weapons of choice. Choose one weapon group. Your proficiency rank increases to master with the simple and martial weapons in that group, and to expert with the advanced weapons in that group. You gain access to the critical specialization effects (page 283) of all weapons for which you have master proficiency.

Does this carry over to your dwarven weapons say for dwarven waraxe?

I ordered the deluxe books and my order is still pending with no response to multiple emails about my order??

What can I do??

It would make more sense if they split the paragraph eg.

You can use a weapon built for a Large creature if you are Small or Medium (both normally and when raging).

If you’re not Small or Medium, you can use a weapon built for a creature one size larger than you. You gain access to one weapon one size larger than you, of any weapon type otherwise available at character creation. It has the normal Price and Bulk for a weapon of its size (page 295). When wielding such a weapon in combat, increase your additional damage from Rage from 2 to 6, but you have the clumsy 1 condition (page 618) because of the weapon’s unwieldy size. You can’t remove this clumsy condition or ignore its penalties by any means while wielding the weapon.

Thus for most you could use a large weapon no penalty but if you’re already large you could use a “giant” weapon with penalty but more rage damage or if you’re tiny you could use a normal weapon with penalty and more rage damage.
This makes sense to me as there is a vast difference from tiny to small then from large to giant. (Looks back at old 3ed size charts)

Am I reading this right.

It then says in equipment pg 295 any character can use a weapon of one size larger size, with the clumsy penalty. This would mean the only benefit to this rage is the +4 extra damage when raging ... what’s the point? Why have the first 2 sentences when anyone can do it?
