Skills of the sorcerer is weirdly worded. The sorcerer page says 5 plus Int and the bloodline says you are trained in the skills listed. So does that mean you have a total of 9 plus int skills trained at level 1? I assume the bloodline should only make the sorcerer skills signature skills. Whether you are trained in it depends on the 5 plus Int you choose.

I wonder how many worshippers of Ragatehiel will be played in this game?

I'm sure there will be plenty of them, which is kind of why I'm wanting to create a character with a slightly more unique history. Of course, I also wanted to create a character different from any other I've played. Combining those two is proving more difficult than I had first thought it would.

I've scrapped the idea for an Ifrit Inquisitor because I realized Inquisitors don't add the spells from the domain they choose to their spell list as a Cleric does. Geez, what good does making enemies fire resistance go away when you don't have natural ANY way of doing fire damage to them except (eventually) your weapon?

I've always wanted to make a Kobold; been in love with the race ever since Deekin from Shadows of Undrentide.

I had a thought of making a Kobold Oracle with the Blackened curse and the Flame mystery, then possibly taking the Scaled Disciple feat and prestiging into Dragon Disciple. Certainly not optimal, what with the various penalties to attack and strength, but I imagine interesting to play from a character standpoint.

Redeemed Kobold is also an option if I wanna go Divine caster.

Deekin? Doom Doom Doom, Doom Doom DOOM! ;)

FAQ on this very question.

Note that monks and barbarians aren't compatible due to alignment restrictions. There's a PFS FAQ about changing alignment, I think.

There is no alignment issue since the archtype martial artist has no alignment restrictions unlike the monk.

When Mountain Druids have -2 to wild shape. Does it mean at level 20 you can only wild shape per day as a 18th druid or can you wild shape at will

Yes uber thanks! I have been wanting to play a dwarf pally and though I will miss smite evil. ....nevermind Stonelords are really cool!

Thanks that is helpful.

Weapons like katanas, battleaxes, etc allow you to use them two handed if desired. If a character takes the Deflect Arrows feat, can he make an attack with his one-handed weapon with two hands and still defend himself using deflect arrows. Since it is possible to simply let go with one hand as a free action (speculative assumption).

"Now, being both lawful and good, I'd expect the paladin to turn the guards into the local magistrate. Apprehend them and take them. If they resist/fight, THEN defend yourself. But, you should do so with the intent of putting them down rather than killing them with the goal of still turning them in to the proper authorities. What was done is more chaotic good. It was putting down people who did evil acts but it was done so in a very "my way" sort of way rather than letting the system work itself out. " - I think it was said over and over that apprehending them was no longer an option by that part.

Anyway, I guess that doesn't matter anymore. XD

Agreed, also your character must be concerned what it considers corruption. For example, in Pathfinder #1, a CE char Nualia thought of herself as corrupted with celestial blood and wished to purge it by replacing it with demonic aspects.

Not to say that this was right, just to say that the character could say they hate corruption and still be evil.

If your character is truly Lawful Good, and the bad guy is deemed innocent by the local law, your character could find a way to track down the evil doer and stop him from further acts via catching him if he does something evil again, but the CG thing to do is just to slay him the first time.

I have started to create a enchanter when I got to alignment. What kind of moral dilemmas would this create if I were to play LG or even worse CG? This lead me to my previous question.

How would you play a good aligned controller?

Playing Lawful Good as the "ends justify the means" is not accurate to the alignment. That would be Neutral Good.

What people need to remember is that there are two sides to each alignment (even true neutral) that are distinct and yet interdependent. Whether you are lawful or neutral or chaotic is based simply on your attitude toward rules, restrictions, conformity and the status quo. If your character is going to "believe" (and by that I mean act accordingly) that all laws, even "unfair" ones, exist to the benefit of all and need to be respected & obeyed; then he/she is lawful by definition. If the character is going to believe that no laws/very few laws, even "fair" ones, benefit anyone and only serve to repress the natural spirit and should therefore be ignored &/or rejected; then he/she is chaotic by definition. If the character believes that laws are profitable and should be obeyed only when they are "fair" or serve the "greater purpose" (whether that's good or evil), then that character is neutral. This is represented by the character who steals the key in order to free the wrongly-imprisoned friend. As I said earlier, the ends justify the means mentality is by definition a neutral mentality. That character is disregarding the law when its necessary to achieve a greater goal.
Good and evil is an easier distinction to make (generally) but taking either one to extreme is often *not* good for game play. Not every evil person is a sadistic murderer and not every good person is a saintly zealot. Most evil (or good) people are not easily identified as such upon first meeting. Evil people have mostly selfish motives and are greedy for gain (whether that means accumulation of wealth, power, or influence varies). Good people consider the needs/desire of others and seek to meet those needs.
A Lawful Good character seeks to help others within the accepted "rules". A Neutral Good character seeks to help others regardless of the rules. A Chaotic Good character seeks to help others by "freeing" them from the restrains...

This is typically how I understand alignment. Thank you Lady for the clarification.

I am going to give the Subscription a shot as well. I will be honest I am somewhat nervous as well. When S&H goes through I feel as if I have just gone back to its normal price, but I hope that the other benefits (i.e.- free pdf downloads of subscribed adventures and other discounts make up for that)

Thank you Paizo, I can't wait to see the finished product tomorrow!
