Having reached giant size, Kugrim lumbers around his horse and brings his horsechopper down on one of the goblins.

I'm not sure what failing my Ride check entails, so I'm not sure what kind of actions I can take. Is the horse running off and I'm along for the ride, was I bucked off the horse, or what?

Kugrim nods his head at Shalelu as she hands the gold to Tavius. "Thank you." After she leaves, he turns to his companions and says, "If we are to help with this...situation, it would be a good idea for us to be prepared. We should sell what we took from the goblins, add it to what we were just given, and buy supplies for ourselves."

Kugrim swings his horsechopper at the boar as hard as he can and then steps back, daring the boar to close with him again.

Kugrim wipes the blood off his horsechopper. "Don't worry about it too much, Tarnish. We can dispatch whatever shows up."

I'd rather be right behind Tavius. Just for the record, my AC is currently 17 because of mage armor, which lasts for an hour. Once it wears off, I'll cast it again.

Kugrim smiles at Strife. "I understood the general concept but not the specific application. I should have been more specific and said, 'To which two birds do you refer?'Thank you for your list of possibilities, however. Sheriff, were those more or less the lines along which you were thinking?"

Moving up beside Tavius and casting penumbra. Being a melee-based sorcerer is tough enough without taking light sensitivity penalties :).

"Let me go first. I can actually see better without the lantern. Can any of the rest of you see in the dark?" With those words, he begins chanting a spell.

"I'm sure I will eventually figure out how this bizarre society of yours functions. But, in the meantime, we must go see this 'sheriff' at once."

Kugrim looks at Tarnish as though he'd just stepped out of a portal to another plane. "The leader of your enforcers isn't in charge? Then who is? Somebody must be; otherwise you would be as wantonly destructive as those intruders yesterday. The only thing that keeps bedlam from occurring is the iron fists of law and duty. Who wields the fists in this town?"

Kugrim replies to Tavius: "I wouldn't have thought so, but I have to admit that I'm not the fairest judge when it comes to goblins."

When Ameiko suggests visiting the sheriff, Kugrim says: "I care not for thanks, but it's always prudent to report to one's commanding officer in times like this. He is the leader of your people, is he not? More intelligence never hurt, either. I fear we have not heard the last of my ill-mannered 'cousins.'" He spits the last word.

"I have observed the goblins around here often and 'focus' is not a trait I would usually impute to them. There's something afoot." After he finishes eating, Kugrim turns to Amieko and says, "Thank you for the food and lodging. Defending the town was no more than my duty; your generosity is appreciated."

Kugrim quickly steps behind the remaining goblin and uppercuts him with his cestus-containing hand.

Kugrim begins to carefully step around the goblin that attacked him as he lashes out at the goblin commando's legs with his horsechopper.

5' step N, and a trip attack on the commmando.

If the goblin is tripped, I get an AoO when he stands up.

Kugrim rushes ahead, closing with goblin commando and another of his comrades. He swings his horsechopper at the goblin commando, trying to emulate the commando's attack on the dog.

5 ft. NE, then 20 ft. north puts me in reach of G1 and GC.

Don't forget that I get an AoO if either of the goblins close with me or move outside my reach.

I think I should have gotten an AoO on G3. It looks like he climbed up on the table, and he can't take a 5' step with any form of movement for which he doesn't have a listed speed. I'm going to go ahead and roll one, and you can decide whether or not it stands.

AoO with horsechopper: 1d20 ⇒ 15 AoO damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

I should also note that he loses his Dex bonus when climbing.

Kugrim swings his horsechopper mightily at the goblin in front of him.

Seeing that the goblin in front of him apparently considers him of no consequence, Kugrim snarls: "Ignoring me? Poor choice, cousin". He steps back in order to have the room to use his horsechopper effectively, then swings it at the goblin.

Standard action: attack with horsechopper.
