I do plan to level Tochi eventually, as well as write his back story. In all honesty he would love to keep that sword, but I don't think that would be fair to the rest of the group.

I really can't think of anything Alyssa would want from that list except for *maybe* the scroll of Fireball or the energy heart, but otherwise she's good.

I will be happy with whatever you decide, Fyrian.

After reading through the player's guides for each of the available AP's I have to say that I would like to cast my vote for Carrion Crown. Although Tieflings aren't mentioned in the player's guide, it does include Magus as a class and says that there will be points in the story that can be of interest to a magus player, and even mentions the archetype that I'm playing (Blade Bound). My concern then is with clearing with you, Fyrian, if I can please play my tiefling character. She is the type of character who I could see traveling through Ustalav in search of forbidden knowledge, and even reveling in the commoner's distrust of her, so long as it doesn't turn violent.

I'm working on putting together an alias for her, which will include her background story. Since I've had this character for so long, I'm afraid her back story is long (7 pages) but it's only for fun; it's not necessary to read it to understand the character.

lmao Fyrian! I understand completely, since Rock and I are on the same budget but for "pay for the wedding so we don't drown in debt". $15 suddenly seems like a lot these days, and $6 for shipping is robbery.

I don't have much to add to the conversation, since Rock pretty much covered everything, but I'm down for pretty much anything. Since we're still relatively new to Pathfinder and pbp we haven't done more than two AP's, and if I could have a chance to finally see my tiefling magus go from 1 to 20...I would be a very happy panda.

(IRL inside joke because my real name is Amanda and a South Park fan)

Ah sorry that's Wilhelmina/Rockman's nickname I like to call him

Yea Rock and I will be rather absent tonight as we're attending a church activity on marriage, so we won't be back from that until after 10 PST tonight and going to the second half of it tomorrow until 1:45PM. But I'm sure both he and I will find time to slip one more post in tonight before bed.

I fully understand your opinion, Baris, and I'm glad you voiced it. As someone who does try to play eloquent and sophisticated players I go to great lengths to keep their language clean, though in the specific circumstances as you saw just now Tochi let slip a curse because it was an appropriate reaction to what he saw. I have one character who is highly intelligent, and chooses only to swear under great duress and only in her native tongues (elven or abyssal) as a way to sort of color her with more personality because of her upbringing and the things she has experiences in her past. I honestly can't think of any of my characters that I would feel swear "excessively" so maybe my statement of "potty mouth" was an exaggeration.

But nonetheless to keep from potentially offending anyone or breaking any rules on these boards I will choose to continue to censor my characters for the occasional slip up :)

It just occurred to me, I don't know this boards policy on swearing. My characters can sometimes be potty mouths... Should I continue to censor them or are swear words considered ok?

That video was pure awesomeness, and made me feel like dusting off my animation skills again, course I've been talking about doing that for the past week.

Ok its official; I can't stop laughing long enough to write how Tochi is going to respond to what Baris just did because I can't breathe, and my office building thinks that their IT support tech has lost her marbles.

Hahaha! You guys have got me laughing so much in the game right now all my coworkers think I'm nuts now XD

Great, thanks Fyrian. I really appreciate it.

I'm afraid that I am unable to move myself on the map, but I think that's probably because I am trying to do so from my smart phone which is the only way I am able to access this site during my work day. I can either move myself when I get home in the evenings around 5PM pst or I can have Rockman move my icon for me. I am able to view the map at least and remain active in the game play section. I hope this isn't a problem.

Darn it :( I had really hoped to make this my first PbP experience. Oh well, hopefully we'll run into you all in some other adventure!

I am posting my own character but also wanted to say that along with this character is another named Wilhelm Starker, who is played by my fiancee and he will be posting his own application shortly. Please forgive the lack of formatting or strange typos, I am posting this from my phone.

Where on Golarion were you born?

"I was born and raised in Crying Leaf with my twin sister, Cullwen."

Why did you become an adventurer?

Her milky white eyes turn their stare heavenward, as though asking the Gods that same question. After long moments of thought on the subject, she finally answers "My reasons are not my own, but if I were to share my own desires, it would be to find a way to turn my beloved sister from the dark path she walks."

Are you a Pathfinder?

She smiles sweetly. "No."

How would your character respond to the given goblin-battle situation?

"I would speak a blessing onto my allies, that their courage may not falter. Then I would proceed to ensure that none are lost."

How strictly do you like to abide by the rules?

I am a long time freestyle rp'r and new to organized rp (dnd, pathfinder, etc). That said while i enjoy the rp to be loose and free flowing during out of combat situations (within reason to avoid powerplaying) I think it best to stick to the rules otherwise, to keep everything fair.

How many PBP games are you currently playing?

This would be my first, though I have 15 years experience in text base or forum rp. I am also involved in two in person games.

Have you ever played the Murderer’s Mark module?

No.
