OK good luck to you Little Finder. This story has great potential I believe. However, I must respectfully bow out. We seem to have lost Archie, Galacia, and Velaana. And the rest of us seem to have a hard time moving the story forward. I check the boards religiously up to 5 times per day and this pbp moves at a pace of 2 posts or so per week; sometimes less. For various reasons, some are keeping secrets that would actually move us forward. Perhaps it is just my rp style but we don't seem to mesh well as a group. So even if we did get the story moving again, I'd not likely enjoy it much.

"I don't take too kindly to folk who take my life for granted. That ain't good and it ain't a good way to operate."

Guys, I'm so sorry but this campaign has been profoundly frustrating. I've no idea why some of you are keeping secrets and or dancing around the truth but I personally am frustrated beyond belief. Elon, your last post is just one example of what is frustrating me. Why are you holding out? Why is Archie holding out? If this Sybil person gave you info, why not share it? Is it for role play reasons?

The problem as I see it is, Krallek has nothing to share in this sharing session. Maybe it's because I started late but I don't know what info was doled out in secret or even when it was doled out.

All I have to add is that "Argius" and "Argius Otherer" sound suspiciously similar.

Krallek begrudgingly leaves the room and goes out into the hall where everyone else is standing. He stands there for a moment and looks to the others and says "any of you as confused as I am? I aint got no idea whats going on."

Krallek stays in the room just in case he is needed to keep an eye on Argius and his attempt to help.

Krallek doesn't even wait for Argius to answer Elon's question. He rushes across the room, the look of anger clear on his face makes it obvious to anyone who sees it, he means to solve this situation with violence.

Damage if that hits: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

DM if I may, I'd like to change that to a +1 flaming burst heavy flail. The spear does not allow me to attack from 5 feet away. Just looking art the composition of our party and I'm going to be on the front line it seems.

Also @ Galacia, flaming burst is a +2 enchantment. Originally in the discussion on these weapon gifts the DM said any +1 enchantments so I don't believe flaming burst would count.

Krallek would have been totally fine with hauling the dead monster's corpse around like a sack of taters. Frankly, he'd probably scoff at wrapping it up in a cloth. Hauling a dead werewolf around on your shoulder unabashedly through town does wonders for your reputation.

Krallek, confused as ever decides to head over to the temple to meet up with the others. I hate investigating! Feel about as out of place as a onions on top of chocolate ice cream he thinks to himself as he trudges along through the market towards the temple.

Krallek is still here and checking in with the boards more than once per day. But I really am none too skilled at investigative style rp. I could regale the tale of my investigative efforts in "The Assassin's Knot" way back in second edition. Our DM actually got mad at the 4 of us because we were so bad at investigating. He docked us xp because after 4 straight nights of playing we hadn't uncovered a single useful piece of information and were essentially back at the beginning of the module.

So essentially Krallek will stand by and watch while you guys investigate. I will be here checking in regularly and will step in if the need arises.
