Koani sighs in relief.

She hopes that the scorpion people will be free again now.

(She does find herself unsettled that this person is talking about having a phylactery, though...)

Koani moves and then fires an arrow.

damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Koani pats Blarg and agrees to help.

sense motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Koani does not notice anything in particular and stays quiet for now.

Koani looks expectantly at the others, hoping someone can translate.

"Is there anyplace we have not looked? Or has anyone seen a keyhole this key might work in?"

Koani happily helps Andirke with his wand.

After seeing that the hedgehog is OK, Koani checks if Andirke wants any healing or other help

Koani pats Blarg and tells him what a good boy he is.

Then she uses her healing wand to take care of the damage that Elise's magic did not fix.

Koani is horrified that Elu would let his cute little hedgehog do that, (note: in character, not out of character), and rushes over to see if the little creature needs any first aid.

Yeah, high level paladins are fun. That spell and also there's a mercy that I think acts like breath of life. My high level paladin is too high level to play much at all, so I've forgotten the details.

Koani drops her bow and slashes at the same undead with her dagger.

damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

(hopefully the enemy considers Blarg the greater threat, since he has significantly more HP and is uninjured; he also just did a lot more damage to that enemy...)

Koani takes a 5 foot step, hoping the creature will follow her and move into Blarg's combat range. (going to finish turn after Blarg attacks)

Elu, please stop constantly pushing us to do things the 'optimal' way. Your last discussion post with an idea is fine, but the frequent pushes in gameplay are really a fun depressor, at least for me. Real life already has far too much pressure to do things the optimal way; I don't need it in my gaming, too.

Koani's next action will depend on the answer to the above.

So does Koani.

Koani smiles indulgently and explains to her new companions what the little dinosaur is after.

A tall elf woman dressed all in green with a bow strapped to her back enters. A little dinosaur strolls by her side, stopping often for a pat on the head or a scratch behind the eyes. She introduces herself as Koani, and her little companion as Blarg.

Yes, Koani will be bringing her cute little combat monster.

GM, can you please remove me (player and character) from the campaign?
