"If I burn it carefully with my index flame", Kiti says and holds up a small flame what seems like her hand.

"I've seen these fire needing seeds before. Just have to match the burn on those."

Knowledge: Nature: 1d20 + 17 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 17 + 2 = 20 +2 from Heightened Awareness. Trying to estimate how much the seed should burn to start growing.

"I'll help! I have the thing to keep me safer from fire like poof!" Kiti says and transforms into a small fire elemental. She moves toward the fire and casts a spell that produces a ball of water that falls on the flames. "I am a fire that makes water!" she cheers.

Would it still trigger Outflank's effect? Is it immune just to the damage of the critical hit or impossible to crit? Probably doesn't matter here after all that damage.

I totally missed the pheromone arrow, I didn't expect an arrow to give Kiti a bonus.

Also, on exact reading Kiti would have to activate Wyrgan's smite as a swift action, so only a single smite would be active. But then, if I had thought it through she would have done her own smite last round after the Faerie Fire.

"Mimi, go around, jump time!" Kiti commands her tiger as she herself prepares to pounce. When Mimi is in position, she pounces at the ghost calling her otherworldly power: "Smite baddies!"

"I can help to make you a forest, tomorrow. I can't bring the old trees back but can help grow new ones. I can't yet make the trees walk, but I'm trying to learn to", Kiti suggests.

"Hi! I'm Anne Katherine White, or Kiti as my friends call me, and I'm a mortal defender of the forest! And so is Mimi here. Well, she mostly just sleeps and eats, but helps me defend things sometimes. But we are kind of on the same side", Kiti the leopard says and waves her paw.

"I am all ready. And so is Mimi. I have still many bamfs, if cat is bad there. But then Mimi would be bad. Why don't the gods give monks magic, only priests? They have temples and do templing there? I can make one animal really big, but that can wait until we see what is there. It worked well last time I bigged Mimi. Maybe they have an altar for books there", Kiti chatters as she follows VSRB to the temple door.

Again able to speak, Kiti the leopard chats about next steps.

"So we have one part, and another part. We didn't meet yet Priestess Isa? Do you know where Isa is? Is there some kind of secret place somewhere?" she asks the monk.

"Did we look everywhere? The tunnel was the strangest place, but it just went to kitchen. Why did they take only the middle part? Should we look at the tunnel again?" she says.

Kiti comes to see the manuscript.

She taps the manuscript, and then the floor once with her paw. Then she gestures generally around her, taps twice on the floor, then thrice on the floor, and shrugs.

She finally points to her mouth with her paw, then to the door, and runs out of the room.

"Just stay there and growl!" Kiti the leopard commands Mimi, then climbs on the shelves to get behind the monk. "Cheetah is fast, but leopard can climb!" she delights from her choice, then drops behind the monk and tries to grab him.

Kiti comes back from the tunnel. "That's a funny place, I don't know why it's there, so much work for going to kitchen. Fun to have a tunnel, but maybe make a room there or something? Just a tunnel is weird", she analyzes her findings.

She follows VSBR to the next rooms.

"I'll go first! Mimi stay here", she says and heads to the tunnel. "I can see a bit in the dark, and I know the dancing light spell when it gets too dark. We'll come back right away if we see something weird. Or fun".

Perception +24, Low-light vision. If getting too dark, cast Dancing Lights.

"I can go too! Mimi can stay behind, she got a bit too big. Maybe I gave too much food", Kiti offers.

She fumbles a bit with the trapdoor with her paws. "Well this doesn't work. Can someone handy open it?"

Kiti the leopard goes to curl on a pillow next to the fallen parchment, and tries to hold it with her paws as she examines it. "Why do papers fall from the roof here? Do they have a special paper-raining roof? And what is that another trapdoor doing here? The monasteries I have been in didn't have such thingies all over the place. Or comfy pillows. We sat on top of poles, Mimi was very good", she chatters as she examines the parchment, totally unaware that the trapdoor she mentioned might not be as easily seen by everyone.

"Everyone out then, and I'll send in one poor thing to be splatted. Do you know where they come from? They just pop here and then next moment are gone?" she says continuing to thoughts about summoning.

When everyone is out, Kiti the leopard waves her paw and a giant centipede appears. "Go tap-dance all over that room! Isn't it fun, at least the little ones run all over floors and tables and all."

When everyone is out, cast Summon Nature's Ally I (spontaneous, using one Faerie Fire). Then send it running around the trapped-looking area. It's medium so it should trigger traps just fine.

Kiti tries to look up to the way the statue is attached. "It can fall? But how is it done? I can fly there and try to make it fall when no-one is under, but I'm not sure I can if the thingy has very strong chain. Or I can make a centipede or ninetypede to dance on the button."

"Yuck, that's not all dust, some is dried mold. They haven't used it for, a year, maybe?"

"I can use that, but my armor makes me a bit clumsy. And anyone can drink, but I have airy walk ready so no need for me." Kiti says about the potions and belt they find. She picks up the amulet in her mouth. "Whah afouh fhif? Mayfe Fuy of Chaflih? We ohhef haf hanfh anh fawf full ofhen."

Kiti follows VSRB through the rooms, Mimi staying a bit back not to cramp the tight spaces.

All items are better on someone else.

Kiti also sees it even with 1 on the dice.

"Oh, that one! Yes, I see it. Why do they hide it halfway? Deal with it? I can handle it if it has a handle. Or I can bite and claw, but if you mean a trap, no. Well, I can step into a trap and you don't get hurt but that's it", she gives her opinion on the trapdoor.

She waves her paw at the woman in the kitchen. "Hi, I am Kiti and these are my friends, can you tell us what is happening here as the monks started hitting us when we said 'book'. I guess you heard it as it's just outside you door?"

"Oh they can have some evil in their head?" Kiti the leopard realizes from VSRB's comment. "I'll try to keep them living, a bit" she says and waves her paw at the downed monks.

Stabilize on all enemies, maybe it helps a bit.

"I had an evil in mine, two times. It gave me strength, but I felt so mad at all. Maybe there is still some" she says and tries to shake her head as if something could fall from her ear. "No, no evil" she concludes as nothing seems to come out. "Now find the book! Or go see the battle, but we did just one. We made a lot of noise, so no sneaky-sneaky. Books don't like rain, so inside. We usually start left, but it's all around so what is the leftest?"

Is there still battle noises coming and shall we go there or systematically through all rooms?

Red was already unconscious, so straight to yellow?

"Fifi, fy fo holf fighf! Kiti issues a muffled command to Mimi. My mouf if full of monf!"

Mimi obeys, used to listen to Kiti's voice such situations.

Kiti lets go of her hold. "I want to try a kitty pounce!" she says, and jumps at the master, sharp teeth and four paws attacking.

The white tiger obediently runs circling a bit to end up on the other side of the green robed monk, and bites. At the same time, Kiti the leopard attacks with claws and teeth.

"Hi! I am Anne Catherine White, but my friends call me Kiti. I'm really a gnome but it's easier to look around as a birdy. Here I would be Hannah something I think, but I haven't yet got the whole name in local. That's Mimi, she's really a tiger and currently a tiger", Kiti introduces herself and her companion.

She flies inside and first notices the tiger statue, and lands on its head. "Wow! This is great! Mimi, come in, you have to see this, it's a white one just like you!", she says and the tiger slowly follows in. "Carlin, you don't know why they have that statue? Why does the monastery have a statue of her? Should we go stop the fight? You said about the master, do we need to meet before even fight-stopping?" she asks a bunch of questions.

Kiti the pink songbird flies around casting the requested spells. "Bark on you, Tippa and then Big fangs on the big bird, I need some help for that, thank you, that's good, anyone else?" she talks meanwhile.

Probably no need for using Channel the Gift for Barkskin on Tippa, but for Greater Magic Fang on F91 yes.

Kiti-bird follows and tries to see details that might have been missed by VSRB.

I would guess Wyrgan or Tippa. Kiti and Mimi are probably also in melee, but want to pounce and have some other mobile tactics that make them less likely to be the first ones hit.

Three +4 Barkskin castings available for those most in need from Kiti.

Kiti notices VSBR casting the spells. "Oh, it's cast time now? I have some nice spells. I hope we are fast, some are not all day. Does the thief also get to do casts? Mimi, come here!" she says. Her tiger slowly walks to her, and she starts waving her juniper twig around as she casts several spells on herself and the tiger. "Big tooth, fast foot, plim! Bark and light step, plom! And the no grab for you, bad guy, plam! Oh and the see things better for me!"

"I have three barks still, but it's not enough for everyone. Who will stay back and not be hit?" she asks.

After her spellcasting, she touches her ring and turns into a pink songbird. "Chirp! I have seven of birdies every day from this ring. The other ring lets me speak as birdy. The third is from the grand prince, it says I'm the vicecountess of Whistledown. Not from the princess, I haven't yet seen her. I don't know how they can give the title in Taldor when the town is in Varisia, but he said all lands are really Taldor so it's fine. I'll follow you up to see around. There must be a countess I'm vicing, but they never told me who or how I know I have to start countessing if she can't.", she continues her chatter as she also flies up to scout the area.

Kiti tries to think about the area. "I have been at a monastery, but not that one. Maybe it's like the others?"

When VSBR Rosenthal goes to ask around, Kiti goes along. "I like to talk to people, but some say that I'm hard to follow. What do you think there is in the monastery? The scroll sounds like it's a bit scary. How did the thief learn to thieve there? You can't pickpocket a monk, those robes have no pockets. My ring helps me talk a bit, when I'm birdy or catty", she chatters and tries to help by bringing people that look like they know something to VSRB Rosenthal.

"That's not nice, taking without asking" says a female gnome in a dragonscale armor that is for some reason pink. She has a pink bow in her white hair over her left ear. "Maybe Mimi can smell the thief? She has a big nose", she pushes with her foot a white tiger sleeping next to her, "but she's a bit lazy to use it. I am Anne Catherine White, but my friends call me Kiti. What is it like, how do we know it's the one, right book?", she chatters, jumping freely from topic to topic. "Don't worry, it's not the whity thing, look, it's pink at the root", she lifts her white hair a bit to show it's pink below.

"But I know you! It was the test thingy!" she says as she looks at Wyrgan. "I still have the board here", she pulls two halves of a board from her bag and puts them together, "Kitiyaah and it just snapped in half!", she says and demonstrates by striking the board halves apart again.

She goes over to see the homonculi. "You made these? Nice! I can't do that. So we go to tide temple, and get the book. How do we know who is the thief if there is lot of people there?"

No, but maybe scent could help? If I can somehow know the square it is I'll faerie fire it instead of attacking.

"Hit that whateverthingy!" Kiti commands Mimi, and they both close on the bulb.

Did the objects really hit Iso, he's got a ton of AC buffs (magic vestment +1, barkskin +3, shield of faith +3, haste +1) on top of his normal AC?

Kiti-bird flies over the moving objects, landing behind them. She squeaks to the objects, her voice then dropping and changing to a growl as she transforms into a sabre-tooth tiger.

The objects can take AoO's. AC 28. After form change AC 27.

"Mimi, come, let's whack these thingies! Come, go, oh, I don't know, well, just get ready to jump!" she instructs the tiger, but with no space for it to engage Mimi just closes a bit, eyeing for a charge route.

I moved Kiti to the door on the map, the movement was described in my previous post. She's in bird form, above the door (5ft up or higher if the doors are bigger).

Kiti flies over to examine Iso's finds. "Oo, those silver things are pretty! What are they for? And what are these stacks of glass? The humming? Are those doors locked? I really would like to know what they did here. Is there something here to wave those picks at? Oh, the Mission! How does this door open?" Kiti-bird darts between everything strange in the room, then finally sits on top of the door, examining it.

"Poor Mimi! Comehere and I'll stick-heal you. Why did these attack us? They didn't even try to talk. Or maybe they did, but we just didn't understand. There, sticky sticky stick, tiger better," Kiti chatters while closing Mimi's wounds with her wand. The tiger lies at the gnome's feet, letting her do her magic.

"Stop hitting us with that earthy thing!" Kiti shouts at the pech, hitting again with her scimitar. Mimi, now in good position, bites and claws viciously.

"Now, bite this meanie!" she orders, waving her small scimitar at an enemy, distracting it a bit.

Mimi's AC is now 25, touch 14, flat 21 due to the barkskin. Kiti is 29, 13 touch, 26 flat. Just noticed Mimi stat block does not give these.

Kiti is pretty high on AC and the spells would overlap with items, so would get one less from magic vestments or shield of faith. I'd give them to Iso, as well as the HP boosts of aid & bear's endurance. She can fly with forms so air walk would also be sort of wasted.

Kiti also has one barkskin and resist energy communal to add to the list.

"Oh, spells! I should cast mine, then, too. I don't have that many but these are nifty still. Mimi, come here! Time for magic! The teeth, the skin, the feet. Done!" Kiti says and touches both herself and Mimi three times with her juniper twig, throwing a bit of sand on the third touch.

"I have still one barky skin and the no-fire or no-ice remaining. Sorrina, do the fey use fire? Cold? Acid? Something?"

Kiti takes the mirror back, and looks surprised when Sorrina thanks her for it.

"Oh, it's nothing, just an easy spell. But, towers, there are many? How far are they? I am prepared against nasty fey, I have a cold iron scimitar and all. I met some earlier. What do you know about the dangers in the towers? How big are they? You are looking for Sairazul's Tears, what exactly are those? What do they look like?" Kiti blurts out a series of questions, while looking at herself from the simple mirror.

Kiti places her backpack on the ground and starts rummaging through it's contents.

"I have a rope, and hook. A pretty pink crystal, thank you Iso. I thought Aram had been master forever. Food, board pieces, dress, but it's gnome size and you are pretty big. No, no mirrors. But wait! I can maybe make a small one. It's a gnome magic thing, but some wizards can do it too. So, here goes!"

Kiti waves her hand and creates a small, crude mirror floating in midair.

"It's really fragile and I don't know if stuff shows right in it."

Kiti, again in her pink dragonscale, runs to Sorryna. "Hi, I am Anne Catherine White, and this is Mimi. But all call me Kiti. Yes, there was some bad things and Aram cannot be a master now so we need a new. Or old. The teachers said you would be good. Why are you still here? Don't you want to come back? We found some of your friends, but they are not well. Dead, mostly. But you are alive! Please come with us!"
