Witches are prepared casters yes, a few pages ago I posted her prepared spells for the day, adding rime to snowball.

On the forums the way I do prepared casters is list their prepared spells ina spoiler for the ingame day and as time goes by cast off that until the next ingame day goes by and refresh it.

With Larisa being botted I'll play kess this round and take back over next. Don't worry Zeke it's been a while since she's cast anything so it's a few pages back/

Kess flies up to engage the Roc, ice swirling around her finger tips as a snowball forms between them.
Move 60ft straight up, if the roc is in range (35ft) I'll fire off a Rime Snowball, otherwise I'll hold action to fire when it gets close enough. Rime auto entagles if they take damage from the spell, hopefully that'll take it out of the air due to getting it's wings caught

Kess looks down at the chaos below, frowning slightly as she watches Zeke drop. "Not like this." She hisses, pushing herself off the ledge and floating out over the battlefield hovering 30 ft above the man as she delicately cups her lips. In hushed whispers she feels the flow of fate around the man and begins deftly trying to push against it.

Protective Luck hex on Zeke, for the next round any rolls whenever that creature is targeted by an effect that requires an attack roll, including weapon attacks, the attacker must roll twice and take the worse result.

A winter witch’s patron reveals an icy aspect. A winter witch adds the following spells to her spell list at the following class levels, but does not automatically learn them:

3rd—wall of ice
5th—icy prison
7th—freezing sphere

Winter Witchcraft
Levels of the winter witch prestige class stack with witch levels for determining when she learns new hexes, the effect of her hexes and other witch class abilities (including archetype abilities), the abilities of her witch’s familiar, and the level at which she can select major hexes or grand hexes.

Protective Luck (Su)
The witch can cause fate to twist so that it benefits a creature within 30 feet for 1 round. Whenever that creature is targeted by an effect that requires an attack roll, including weapon attacks, the attacker must roll twice and take the worse result.

At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. A witch cannot use this ability on herself. Hexes that affect the fortune hex, such as cackle, also affect protective luck.

Once the fighting in the courtyard dies down Kess darts from her safe spot joining the others as Ishai perches itself on top the keep. Beady black eyes watching the crow, an unnatural stillness to the otherworldly raven as the cold northern winds whip around it.

"If anyone is hurt let me know, I have some healing magic reserved." She says, raising her hands which gently exuded an icy mist.

Kess drops into the shadow of the wall, feet curled up as she touched down cradling her side as the two bolts lodge themselves there. A faint golden glow washes over her hands as healing magic runs over her wounds.

Kess flies up to the second story, grinning as she comes up to eye level with on, swirls of ice spinning around her. Before the inhabitants can react a spike of ice explodes from the floor, filling the space infront of the arrow slit.
Casting Ice Spike inside the room in front of the arrow slit. Spike is 5ft wide by 10ft tall. Any one in that square takes damage and takes a trip attempt.
Damage cold: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8
Damage peirce: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7
Trip: 1d20 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 5 = 14

Also Veronic remember that the blue circle is the icy patch of ground, anything starting their turn on it takes 1d6 cold damage and moves at half speed, if you take damage you're also entangled cutting your speed by half again.

Also just reminding Connor that he'll be touching the ground and will take 1D6 Cold Damage at the start of his turn and become entangled for 1 round plus the Icy ground already cuts movement speed in half as part of the spell.

Kess darts behind Connor, ice swirling in her palms. "Freeze." She commands, ice rippling out from her before spreading in a vast circle beneath the wolves.

Cast Rime Winter's grasp, Duration 5 rounds. Any creature touching the ice at the start of their turn takes 1d6 COld damage with no save and the ground is treated as Ice so it takes 2 squares of movement to move through and Acrobatics DC's are increased by 5. Creatures who take cold damage have a -2 penalty vs Cold Spells for 1 round.

Rime Spell makes it so that any creature who takes cold damage from the spell become entangled, no save.

Kess casts mage Armor, taking a precaution in case of ambush. Unlike the rest of the party she walks through the snow dressed in summery layers indifferent to the cold. "It would seem so, let us hope who ever lived here has passed on." She says, examining the poor state of the house. "Winter's like this tend to drive people to desperation, breeding grounds for all manner of undeath and perversion. Should anyone hear howls on the wind and a sudden increasing in severity of the storm let the others know, wendigos are known to hunt in such manners and they stalk places such as this."

Kess descends to the ground, the gust of frigid air dissipating from her. She gives Larisa a small nod and moves to stand by Seres. "For now," She says, gently placing a cold hand on his forehead and channeling a healing burst of energy. "You have done very well." Kess frowns slightly, noting internally that she still had much of her magic unspent due the wisps being immune to much of it, with only her healing having beening needed in the battle. "I should get myself one of those wands, after all I do not think this is the last ground of wisps we shall have to face."
