A newly enlarged wizard growls angrily at the skeleton in front of him. A large snout grows from his evil goatee into a smile of wolfish teeth before an aggressive bite chomps down.

Kern walks into the hallway frustrated. "Assassins? you have devils working the upper levels and we're the assassins? you're an idiot who is about to die if you don't surrender."

Kern pulls his lever again and attempts to hold it in place.

seeing no sneaky types.. Kern decides to go pull the "fourth" lever.

Kern continues to push the group to the other side of the room.

"Go ahead Gaz." Kern waits for Gaz to move forward.

Kern looks left and right.. shrugs and lugs the tablets to the puzzle....
placing the smiling girl on top... the grandiose city in the middle and the devil on bottom.

Kern thinks carefully about the meaning of these tablets.

Kern sighs annoyed... casts Ghoul Touch and steps forward to touch the woman...

Kern moves into the building and casts bull's Strength on Praesid.

Kern recasts heightened awareness, and moves up near the building.

"Yes silver throwing light hammers. Silver javelins are inefficient due to the lack of sharpness."

"I suppose there is nothing else you might want to offer as advice?"

Kern collects his things and prepares to depart.

"Certainly Prizm - I am always interested in collecting new magic..."

Kern looks back to the Venture Captain, waiting for his answers.

Kern eyes Constantine curiously. "Heightened Awareness. Solid spell to assist in the pulling from the reaches of your memory. You should spend some time in the library - the ability to recognize spells as they are cast will save your life one day."

Kern's hands scribble his notes as the Captain talks. "We can't be having the defenses compromised... What can we expect to find at the vault? Will we need to break in?"

"The Plane of Earth you say? very fascinating. What were you doing there?" He shuts the book on Cheliax contracts and pulls another from the pile regarding Earth Mephits.

A wizard in red robes spends his time in the great library, studying in the arcane section on all manner of subjects.

This muscular wizard stands out among his peers... his hand flexing stiffly from time to time... the tattoos on his face giving away his specialty in transmutation.

Kern stands in contemplation for a minute. "The Undine is right - let's deal with it on the way out."

After everyone takes a charge of the wand.. (and perhaps a channel), Kern thanks Lizbeth for her bravery, and takes the lead to the next room to the left.

Kern rush forward to pour the cure mod potion down lizbeth's throat.

hmm youre right - we weren't told if 23 hit or missed (or failed crit confirmation. so 77. ugh

i have no idea how this thing is still up. by my count we've done 93 damage... this is a brutal encounter.

Kern continues to hold his ground waiting for Phoebee to act.

it was a retcon from an action that was out of turn as well even though the GM stated it was our turn
she stepped up and attacked, i stepped up past her and also attacked... then came the chord/second glaive swing off turn.
Just trying to get us back in sync.

"the graveknight just swung away from me and that thud i assume is Lizbeth falling down... She's turning to me now..." Kern anxiously awaits what his allies are up to behind him.

Kern and Phoebee attacked this turn already. also - chord of shards is a cone so it would hit kern and lizbeth. lets not do that in melee

Seeing a wounded Phoebee step up and attack... Kern grimaces, grows a claw and moves past her into the scrum.
