That's why i moved in front of him, so next turn i can turn into an animal with a +6 to athletics and a 40 ft speed to grapple him if he's still moving.

I can agree with all of this.

However one thing i might note about initiative (which doesn't apply to this game but might be relevant if you also run pathfinder) is that players who have invested resources into a high initiative modifier might feel cheated. Yes, their init bonus affects the entire party, but the return is diminished. In a 4 player party, one character having improved initiative means everyone effectively gets +1. Which means the feat only makes a difference one quarter as often as it would normally do.

So perhaps the bonus from such a feat should apply differently. Maybe instead of adding +4 to the player's individual roll, add +2 or +3 to the party average, so the investment is still worth it for the player.

She approaches Narnel and invokes the pale light she had cast before "Silver light, mend his wounds.", then hurries over to Ember and Molok, and repeats the same for the genasi woman.

Finally she looks up at the stone man: "How are you holding up, big guy?

I just looked up what grappled does, and it doesn't actually grant advantage on attacks against the grappled creature as I thought, so basically my last action was kind of wasted. I will update this post with my action in a couple minutes.

Seeing the monstrous insectile creature, Kenna tries to remember if she had ever seen or heard of such a creature.

She starts running forward as her body begins to change, limbs extending, coarse fur growing as she assumes her lycanthropic shape, this one similar in size but slimmer, more agile looking than her previous form, and continues to race toward the creature, slamming into it with sharp claws.

Mechanics:
INT (Nature): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 I will tell any information I can get from this to the party before transforming.

Wild shaping into Pack Werewolf (Lion) form. With 50 ft. move I should be able to reach it this round and attack.

Move to OP/10 11

Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Crit damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

If hit, the monster has to succeed a DC 12 Strength save or be knocked prone. But I don't get the bonus attack because I used my bonus action to wildshape.

This is coming as a surprise to me as much as it will to you, but I will be hospitalized with little to no internet from tomorrow April 22nd for an amount of time not yet determined. I thought about a faction. And unless we don't have the option to join one later, I think I'll pass for now. Kenna is not really the type to affiliate with an organization although she shares some interest with the emerald conclave.

I have no use for a +1 dagger. So it's fine with me. Unless the dagger has anything more than the +1 bonus.

gained 7 hitpoints (5+2 Con); 1 1st level spell slot and 2 2nd level spell slots. One more spell per day prepared. That appears to be everything for me at this level.
