Hello everyone,

I wanted to post up a web series that we've been working on for the past year. The first two episodes are posted and we will be posting the rest up regularly over the summer.

I'm a long time gamer (have even been published in Dragon mag a couple of times) and drew heavily from this when writing the series. Its got elements of lovecraft, steampunk and fantasy horror/suspense.

I hope you enjoy it and want to share it around. If you have any questions, let me know... and I'd love to hear your feedback!

If there had been a chance I would have suggested using the wand of healing on the half ogre so that we had him in the fight with us... any chance of that?

Ahh! There we go... anyone else need healing? Vulgar? Let me try this thing on myself... since those dam skeletons seemed to be holding a grudge against me for some reason. It was almost like they had it set in their minds that all doors should be opened quietly and kicking down a door and gaining surprise was so far beyond them that they felt a need to punish me for their own lack of creative thinking... but that couldn't be true... could it? Anyway, if the stealth thing is the way you all prefer to go, then I can do that too.

*Looks down at the fancy new weapons his friends have*

which, if my math is correct, means that I would have killed the first skeleton and possibly not gone down?

There is no way, with a 19 Dex, monk training and maxed acrobatics that a 10 on a strength check would result in being flung backwards... do you even know how physics work? At most he came to an abrupt stop. Now come on DM, start putting some real effort into this!

Byron, we will need a reflex save. Now the description in the book says it is "constitution" based. So I suspect that means you swap your dex bonus out for your con bonus? At any rate, the dc for that roll will be 12 for half damage otherwise you will take 1d8 damage.

Lol, sorry but I will need to fix the map later. Right now you will have to suffice with a blue X for the lizard.

No, the con based thing is so that you know the dc save is basednon it's con. If we drain it's con the dc goes down. :)

*Kellic wakes up from his nap, having dozed off while the rest of the group stood around watching the elf play with the floor for an HOUR!*

Now can we check the other room?

I wonder what the elf has over the others that they remain so close to him at all times? They are like new born pups, afraid to stray too far from their mothers teet... But i do not think it is cowardess, for the dwarf bravely charges into battle. It is as if some strange other worldly power has control over them, making them think that being apart will do them harm. And while i agree that we need to stay together because enamies could be close, they will not even open two doors at the same time, even when all are still within sight and ear shot. I wonder if they are like this in town? Do they share a room at the inn? A bed? Or perhaps that is it... Could it be..? I shall have to keep a close watch on these ones.
