How about "Seed of Kyuss" instead, make it look like a monstrous dead sperm with a mouth?

Aint there a feat in Savage Species that lets a creature who cant speak use barks and hisses in place of words?

Not that I'd burn a feat on that, I would just allow the spider to use its own magical tongue to cast verbal based spells, after all each individual casters magic language is suppossed to be their own unique version anyhow.

Both our local gamestores just open up the D&D miniature boxes and sell you whatever you need. Another gamestore my buddy hangs out at miles from me, lets him copy the rules he needs from any book he wants!

Sometimes in other shops I just open up the box myself and look for what want and then buy the box containing the figs I need, once I accidently dropped the contents of two boxes on the floor and silly me, I ended up getting a box full of the miniatures I needed instead of random ones.

On the whole I think D&D miniatures are ugly crap, I only wanted a beholder, owlbear and a couple of large beasts I couldnt get hold of from Reaper, GW, Rackham etc. Repainting the D&D ones is tiresome. I got some awsome McFarlanes toys a few mionths ago, to use as monster, quite cheap from Toys R Us. Anyone seen the Dragons sries 2! COOL!

Any chance there will be a 3.5 version of the talaire(a minor race of psionic humans) from Dragon #281? If not, is there a website of them somewhere? Thank you.

Hello all,

I have a quick question. In Whispering Carin there is a mention towards the end of unkillable zombies. It's in the note on Filge's desk. What is the deal with this? Did I miss something somewhere? Are these the Spawn of Kyruss? I don't really remember reading anything about the zombies. Please help. My group has grabbed hold of this little tid bit and I'm afraid that I'm missing something somewhere.

Beldar

Your a player who is really scared yes?

So where would "Alhaster" be in the Forgotten Realms?

How about a playable symbiote race like from stargate, you could switch hosts and stuff.

Or maybe an ethrial ghostly possesing one?

Or perhaps the symbiote dosent level, instead you "outgrow" your host and have to find a host a level higher, maybe the DM rolls up a new host for you at each level?

Could be fun!

Oh yeah, now the goliath wants to be Kullens friend! After the halforc nearly killed him with one critically brutal punch the goliath decided he respects the halforc now and hopes they can hangout together, the goliath is going to buy him an ale next time he sees him...

I heard how tough it was so I used all stats start at 8 then 32pt buy method.

Theres four players in our group, Goliath Barbarian, Human Monk, Human Fighter, Gnome Bard.

It went ok, no real deaths yet (i fudged once), just finished WC in our first game, we played last night, took us ten hours. Havent slept yet, still writing up the camp-journal now!

They liked Diamond Lake but hated Allustan, they think hes evil and just gonna kill them, I used the pictures from the magazine to introduce the npcs, everyone thought Allustan was "a serial killer waiting to happen" they refuse to send anyone to see him alone "just in case".

In the Feral Dog, Kullen was angered by the cocky (8 feet tall!) goliath barbarian who failed a diplomacy check and the halforc almost punched through the goliath guys head, taking him just into the negatives, the players crapped themselves and picked up the goliath barbarian making a quick exit to get him healed. The people from the Feral Dog laughed them all the way home.

They had another close call when they went up against the acid beetle swarm, the bard nealy died. Then the barberian and monk got took to negatives against the wind warrior and then the bard later (really) did die against Filge but I secretly fudged the damage so he lived, I hate doing that but Greg (the player) eyes fill up with tears and I hate seeing a 25yr old man cry over a dead gnome at my dining table, really puts a downer on things.

They managed to scrape through the adventure, even with their min maxed 32pt buy characters! The bard loves his CLWs!
Apart from the Goliath they are all second level nearly third, the Goliath is neary second as his +1LA screws him.

Maybe he just likes really, really, really bad James Bond movies...

All James Bond movies are really, really, really bad.

Speedy! Thanks.

Thanks to everyone for the answers.

Is there anywhere I can get information on Alhaster?

Will Cauldron turn up in one of the later chapters of this adventure path, if so is this Cauldron visit post shakled city adventure path?

Is it possible to play Shakled City after Age of Worms instead of before, sequel instead of prequel?

When the players complete the adventure path, will they be given the keys to the kingdom or do they fight the courupt rulers for them?

Is there plane-shifting in later chapters?

Apart from diamond lake and free city are there other locales that the party will use as home?
