Both our local gamestores just open up the D&D miniature boxes and sell you whatever you need. Another gamestore my buddy hangs out at miles from me, lets him copy the rules he needs from any book he wants!

Sometimes in other shops I just open up the box myself and look for what want and then buy the box containing the figs I need, once I accidently dropped the contents of two boxes on the floor and silly me, I ended up getting a box full of the miniatures I needed instead of random ones.

On the whole I think D&D miniatures are ugly crap, I only wanted a beholder, owlbear and a couple of large beasts I couldnt get hold of from Reaper, GW, Rackham etc. Repainting the D&D ones is tiresome. I got some awsome McFarlanes toys a few mionths ago, to use as monster, quite cheap from Toys R Us. Anyone seen the Dragons sries 2! COOL!

Does anyone have a suggestion for a mini that would work well for a ulgurstasta?...

I've found that the Burrower Bug from the Starship Troopers game works well.

Just wondering what other DMs are using for the belkers. I've got no real ideas what to use for them. Not a very common foe in my games so I don't have anything I can think of that would fit the bill.

Air elementals would work well...

Or even some wispy cotton balls

So, how big is Ilthane, again?

Terry, I'm getting ready to run Blackwall Keep. Are you interesting in getting rid of this figs, by any chance? I need to augment my lizardfolk army :)

Sorry I usually hold on to all of my minis but I'll think on it when my group finally finishes Blackwall

The Aspect of Hextor from the upcoming War Drums expansion by WotC would be perfect for the Ebon Aspect, assuming you don't need the mini until early March.

I'll try to find a link of a pic...

I suppose I missed this fact somewhere in past discussions, but why did Paizo stop updating their Adventure Path Minis?

If you haven't reached him yet, here's a cool Dragotha figure from McFarland's Series 6 Fall of the Dragon Kingdom: Fossil Clan Dragon

That just plain ROCKS! I haven't picked up any of the McFarlane dragons, but that might be my first. On the subject of minis, anyone wanna post their lineup of D&D minis they have lined up for Prince of Redhand and beyond? My pre-adventure ritual is to sit down a few weeks before and pick out specific minis for all the baddies the PCs will encounter and write them down. That way I'm not shuffling my entire collection over to my buddy's place since that's where we play.

He's been standing guard for years now, and my players haven't even finished HoHR yet... ;-)
