If I understood the setup correctly the boat is basically in open water in the harbor? Not many choices for 'where' to make the distraction in that case :) Though I do admit reading comprehension isn't always my strong suit.

At the moment it seems to be 1) hope they don't see us 2) board a few with invisibility 3) use tar bombs as a distraction to get the rest of the party on board?

But maybe it should just be 1) murder everything, which is what it will devovle into anyway. Though Lem's fascinate ability might come in handy?

[ooc]So, I understand that you want them for your faction mission apparently. But since there is no faction missions or briefings I'm not sure why/how you were tipped off to needing them.

That is pretty much irrelevant to the fact that, in character, what happened apparently is that Karasu was standing there looking at them and you just walked up and took them out of his hands? Unless I skimmed over something else.

As a player I am not going to support that kind of behavior from another player, and as a character Karasu certainly would not allow something he's actively fascinated in to be taken from him.

All that said, all you have to do is ask for them and I'd be happy to turn them over.

Karasu seems strangely interested in the silk flags he's found. As the other Pathfinders tend to the woman and divy up the gear, he casually takes one of the potions of invisibility. He gently folds the flags back up and stows them away in his pack.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. Originally I intended to use a charge action and then realized that he was so close it was kind of silly. I'll take it either way you want to resolve it (keep the +2 and take a -2 to my AC, or ignore the +2 for a result of 20). With the charge my effective AC would be 20.

A conical hat rests on his back, held in place by a cord around his neck. at his waist a pair of swords worn in the style of the warriors of Tian-Xia.

As Aetherys draws her weapon, the tengu's hand moves toward his own blades but he stops short of drawing his sword, his head bobbing up and down a few times. His head turns suddenly back to the Venture-Captain, "Who knows about the Topaz Titan's arrival in Riddleport?"
