He needs to work his way back into some sort of good graces with the Society after the last debacle however... Sorry about what happened there! However, at least you got one prestige on your first mission, Mort. My first mission:
My first mission (and it was a PbP) turned into an almost complete TPK in slow motion. The most humiliating experience of my career (though technically, some Aspis pregen was the one that messed that one up.) There is nothing worse than watching your party slowly TPK over a two week period, and not be able to do anything about it because you've been enfeebled. After my Aspis pregen got traded in a prisoner exchange (and paid to get his conditions removed) I took the chronicle slow track on a first level character in order to reduce the damage done.
Fortunately, the Blues Brothers are AWESOME and Joliet has been able to make good with her life since being released from prison. So... We have our full team now. Yay! Hmm ![]()
![]() I know, and I appreciate the heads-up. I just cannot understand this. Masterpieces are great fun. Don't they see that by making this ruling, they are making them so undesirable as to be completely irrelevant? There may actually be a chance to use a masterpiece for Joliet. She's an Averakan Arbiter Bard (w/bloodrager dip) with a Skald buddy (w/bloodrager dip), and I'm planning on Battlefield of the People's Revolt. Giving Amplified Rage to the entire raging party (if we have a melee group) may be the only thing worth trading off inspire courage. But I'll have to do the math, because inspire courage at 6th level with +2 to hit and damage may still be the better trade. Sigh. So one of my bards may get a use out of masterpieces... But that's the only one! Hmm ![]()
![]() The door to the smoke-filled jazz hall opens. Two half orcs in black suits, smoke-colored goggles, and black hats stride into the room. One is a tall thin man, and the other is round and slightly dumpy (and not male.) They scan the room for other musicians, and then approach. "We're getting the band back together!" ![]()
![]() Yeah. Bret and I are going to do PFS together with a pair of half-orcs with amplified rage. I do have a valet familiar, but that will be to trigger my OTHER teamwork feats. 1 level celestial urban bloodrager / averakan arbiter bard X. "We're bringing the band back together!" EDITED to ADD: My familiar will be a raging |
