I assume you need character numbers for reporting, nothing else.

141981-1501

Arykir would need to give you an e-mail address.

Oh, and before it is forgotten we better give you this!” Joli says as she hands over the bag of coins from Ambrose Valsin. “It is a donation from our venture captain to the Mudruckers.

Joli says “We would like to talk with you or one of the other Mudruckers, but first let’s help with those rats!

Saying this, Joli moves closer and uses her Acid Splash to help disperse the swarm.

It probably got us better information than fighting would have.” she admits.

Just as she is saying this, Tuk asks about asks about razors. Quick! What can I say so as to dissuade him from that? Think!

Got it!

Razors are for beards, Tuk. Your people don’t grow beards, so no one would believe you can shave them right.” Trying to look regretful, she adds “It may not be fair, but people wouldn’t trust a goblin barber.

Deception U: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (19) - 3 = 16

So, off to report our findings and then to the Puddles so we can talk to the Mudruckers!

When meeting with Valsin, she asks “Do you know anything about a priest of Milani? I would really like to know more about the person who wrote the journal we found.

She is as ready as she will ever be to go into the Puddles district.

I agree with you, I also think it was because someone went after your Remna for the same reason they went after our Nelfurhin Zor. They both used to be slaves, and someone doesn’t like that.

Given the journal we found, I’m guessing the name is Remna but Autocorrect interfered.

Cleric of what religion?

Please don’t say Milani!

Greetings, I am called Joli of the Pathfinder Society. We were hoping you would talk to us concerning some troubling rumors we have heard. It is my understanding that your group keeps track of the comings and goings in this district.

Arkyr is much better at the Diplomacy skill, so I would prefer he do the check and I Aid. I will give a roll in a spoiler in any event.

Spoiler:

With a sigh, Joli says “Guess they are going to do this the easy way.

Looking to Tsvy, she promises “I will still use my magic on your weapon if things change and a fight breaks out.

Then she walks out with the others, staying adjacent to Tsvy.

Since we are talking, I wouldn’t have cast the spell yet. It doesn’t last long enough to have discussion and still be active.

Female Elven Playtest Wizard | HP 13 | AC: 14 ( Tch 14) | F: +2 R: +4 W: +2; | Perc: +1; low-light vision | Speed 30 ft | Spell Points 4 | Active conditions: None

Nodding in Mal and Arykir's direction, she tells Tsvy "We can wait for them to finish talking with the young man."

---
Once they are done talking, Joli casts a spell over Tsvy's blade. "Been wanting to see what someone like you could do with this. Although I could use it on my own weapon, I expect you will get a lot more out of it."

Cast Magic Weapon on his greatsword. It is now a +1 magic weapon for 1 minute. +1 hit, 2 dice damage.

"Right, let's go give these folks one chance to surrender."

She follows Tsvy out the door.

Female Elven Playtest Wizard | HP 13 | AC: 14 ( Tch 14) | F: +2 R: +4 W: +2; | Perc: +1; low-light vision | Speed 30 ft | Spell Points 4 | Active conditions: None

Pointing, Joli says “Just outside that doorway?

Looking to Tsvy, she then asks him “Which weapon would you like to use when convincing the gang we are not someone to mess with?

I’m not sure Snips even understood Mal with how thick his accent is.

We are part of a group you may have heard about, the Pathfinder Society. We are investigating something that happened to one of our own.

Pathfinders look after their own, we all work together. Now please do the sensible thing and cooperate with us.

If no one else does it, Diplomacy check:

Trap? Alright, time to get into place.

Hearing Mal’s question, Joli positions herself next to Tsvy.

I’ll just boost his weapon if something happens.

Joli frowns at the way Valette abuses Snips. That is no way to treat another, especially someone you have to work with.

Although obviously disturbed by it, when she sees it isn’t going past the level of a mean prank, she doesn’t interfere. Something about this seems strange. Is she trying to tell us Snips is connected to who we seek?

Once Valette has left, she does ask Snips “Are you alright? I hope she doesn’t prank you like that all the time!

She gets out of her seat, ready to follow where the boy leads. As she moves, she watches for any unexpected magical signs.

We probably want to start our search in or near the Coins district. They are called Bloody Barbers because they like to use Barber shops as covers for their activities. Good way to pass information, among other things.

Is there some link between Nelfurhin Zor and this gang?” Rubbing her ear, she says “I wouldn’t expect someone from the scriptorium to have those sort of ties. Was there a mission that might link them?

Looking to Mal, Joli respectfully notes “It seems I have chosen poorly with some of my spells. As you have shown, the Electric Arc has a big advantage because it will ground itself out through the targets rather than having to be aimed.

Thanks for the demonstration!” Her thanks seems sincere.

Joli looks through the tools and finds the file which she then hands to Experimentia.

After pondering what he said, Joli offers “It sounds like it would be best if I scan for magical areas then, since not everyone is trained in how to do that.

She quickly checks for magic.

By the way, you can call me Joli.

Female Elven Playtest Wizard | HP 13 | AC: 14 ( Tch 14) | F: +2 R: +4 W: +2; | Perc: +1; low-light vision | Speed 30 ft | Spell Points 4 | Active conditions: None

Hats? Is that a name? I probably should have listened more when some of the senior Pathfinder agents talked of their trips into awful environments. Evidently it wasn’t all exaggeration.

We have our guide. I agree, let’s get this done as quickly as possible!

Female Elven Playtest Wizard | HP 13 | AC: 14 ( Tch 14) | F: +2 R: +4 W: +2; | Perc: +1; low-light vision | Speed 30 ft | Spell Points 4 | Active conditions: None

Gah! Can it smell any worse down here?

Joli is careful as she navigates the sewers, trying her best to minimize the amount of sewage she exposes herself to. Although she makes no complaint, it is clear she doesn’t like it down here.

Will Fazgyn be able to lead us past any of your own traps?” Joli asks, obviously not eager to be caught in such contraptions. “I would not want to accidentally set any of them off.

Other than not being true dragons, what else can you tell us of these intruders?

Female Elven Playtest Wizard | HP 13 | AC: 14 ( Tch 14) | F: +2 R: +4 W: +2; | Perc: +1; low-light vision | Speed 30 ft | Spell Points 4 | Active conditions: None

Joli glares at Tuk and then Mal, frowning. Are they just doing this because they somehow know that is the place I least wanted to go?

Giving a highly exaggerated sigh, she relents and says “Fine, we will start with the sewers...but all of us are getting a bath after that!

I wonder if some alcohol on a rag would help against the stench.

The character hates this idea, but the player doesn’t mind. To the sewers!

So we can go to the Grand Lodge, the sewers or the Puddles. Seems like a simple decision to my character!

Reading through the messages, it is clear from her expression that Joli has no interest in entering the sewers. You doubt she even finished reading it before setting that paper aside.

After reading all three, she suggests “Let’s investigate this Band of the Palm.

I’m fine with that. Gives me more time to get my table of Solstice Scar C organized.

Checking my own character, I found that I kept forgetting to add level to things such as AC and Saving Throws. Hopefully I’ve got it right now, although I wouldn’t mind someone checking my work.

I can leave the botting without spoiler. It isn’t that big a deal.

Yes, I did mean leave the damage even if I expect that I didn’t hit.

With respect to criticals, will we always know the enemy AC? Without knowing that, we will not always know if it is a critical hit. The easy solutions are we know the AC or we always have critical damage as well.

As an example:

Joli brings her short bow up and fires at the retreating mite. “You are the one who is DOOMED!
Short bow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Piercing damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
If critical, deadly d10: 1d6 + 1d10 ⇒ (1) + (4) = 5

2. Please do not hide basic mechanics in spoilers. This applies both to gameplay and also to your profiles. Spoilers are reserved for secret rolls, big blocks of rolls (like initiative rolls), and things that should only be read conditionally(i.e. Parry/riposte in PF1). I prefer the mechanics to be interspersed, like the following:

Anastasia lifted her sword and swung it at the hideous monster.
[dice=attack, bless]1d20+3+1
However, her sword passed over the creature's head.

Two questions on this:

Can I put the botting instructions that I typically create in a single spoiler?

Is there any problems with always doing the same sequence of rolls rather than using preview?

I tend to cut & paste the attacks (often directly from my botting section) so the BBCode would already include the damage. I would greatly prefer being able to copy all parts as a chunk.

It would be cool to see the new Bard in play. We could also use a sword and board fighter since the fighter is the only one that gets Attacks of Opportunity at first level.

I am still working on the details, but my current plan is a female elven Wizard (Universal), background of Scholar.

Trained skills: Acrobatics, Arcana, Craft, Occult, Religion, Society,

The Avatar will change later.

I’m willing to shift skills around a bit to fill a hole.

I tried putting together a strength based melee Wizard, but I fear the hit points are too low. The character only had 12 hit point. I was using Elf to get the weapon proficiencies, it would work slightly better as human but then I don’t get any weapons until 2nd level.

It feels really weird that we don’t get a general feat at first level.

Has anyone found anything indicating if Wizards who buy the armor proficiency can cast in various types of armor?

Female Elven Playtest Wizard | HP 13 | AC: 14 ( Tch 14) | F: +2 R: +4 W: +2; | Perc: +1; low-light vision | Speed 30 ft | Spell Points 4 | Active conditions: None

@Experiment

Looks good to me. There were a few minor things I saw that you may want to change.

“Age: A lady does tell, and a gentleman wouldn't ask. ”

I believe you wanted that to say “A lady doesn’t tell...”

Street Urchin: You gain the Pickpocket skill feat
(It isn’t listed with your feats.)

It would be good if you put the numbers in for your skills. I wouldn’t both listing signature skills at first level since it doesn’t matter.

Example:

Intimidate U +0
Society T +0

You have a couple of B.B. Code formatting errors around your total bulk and armor proficiency. Probably want to fix those.
