I'm running a couple games Wednesday for Paizocon myself (at Midnight Tuesday night and at noon Wednesday afternoon). I hope it turns out well (the con).

I should probably ask this on the Org Play discord, but it may have already been asked. I have a 4th level Mystic that's a GM baby (he's never been played at all, it's all GM credit). Would I be allowed to use that Kadrical Rises on it? It says 'new mystic', and I know in other cases that explicitly meant characters with 0xp, so I doubt it, but I wanted to ask in a place where I didn't have to worry about spoiling it for other people first.

@HMM Most of the information is correct. However, it was recommended that I slot First Skirmish at the start of the scenario, which I did as a Social Boon (because my Starship Boon was Defender of the Fleet). I don't remember getting anything off First Skirmish during the scenario (though, I honestly may have just missed them), but that would take the same slot as Instructor. Since I said I slotted it, though, my Day Job check would be 23 (I always take 10 on day job checks) for 46 extra credits.

I have him at ~40ft-50ft depending on which square he's in, so Inspiring Boost on Ivok for 18 SP back.

We did, but it's fine, there's a lot going on. I was going to move around to the other side of the device with Raatchet. It wouldn't have gotten to full attack, but it would have gotten an AOO, so it could have still hit twice, assuming it moved to follow on its turn.

Round 3 Action

Jindam moves around to the other side of the device, drawing a wicked slash from the creature and becoming entangled by its acid ooziness.

Is the white 'ramp' that goes from the tower I'm on to the central tower a ramp 'up' from this tower to that one? or a ramp from the ground up? or a bridge, or what? I'd like to just walk up from this tower to that one, but I'm not sure from the description what that is.

I've moved my token, but I can't remember if they removed the 'unconscious targets are always willing' line in Starfinder or not, so I'm not sure if he gets a save and I'm not sure what the DC would be if he did.

The trig I just did in my head on 2 hours of sleep says it's way farther than 60ft away when you consider height, so I'm unable to do any Envoy special stuff, I think.

The falling was because Raatchet asked to go 60ft up because he wanted to shoot the thing from the air. I did 30ft because I didn't have a fly speed. It's up to the GM if/how she wants to retcon any part of it. It looks like she said I didn't take it at all, so I'll fix that. But I'll keep my round of actions (after the fall) because that's probably what my character would have done for now regardless. I'll try the disable attempt on the next round if Raatchet doesn't succeed on theirs.

I don't have the ability to fly. So I'm going to put us 30ft above the central pillar and just take the falling damage.

Jindam feels the weird flow of Iteration-177's magic pulsing through him. Hearing Ivoks plan, he shifts his grip, touches Raatchet and Duhm Kaoh, twists reality around the three of them, putting them all 30ft above the central pillar. The shock of freefall immediately grabs him and he drops to the pillar adjacent to the oozelike thing.

Also, I believe the act of touching people is all part of the action of casting the spell/SLA as one standard, so I think I have a full round of actions left. Raatchet, my character has 10 batteries and 5 high capacity batteries on him, in addition to the one's in the weapons he carries. I've only been using the high capacity batteries thus far, and I've only gone through about a battery and a half this whole scenario, so if you needed to borrow one between missions, I could have covered it.

Are the Jinsul the 'pilots' of vehicles that they're inside, or are they riding the drones like mounts, or is this a 'power armor' situation. I ask because it affects whether I'm aiming at them or the walkers. If they're riding it, or it's power armor, I'm aiming at them, and if they're vehicles, I'm aiming at the vehicles.

Jindam moves forward but is unable to get close enough to really lead the team in a quick job. So, instead, he simply fires off a shot at the nearest warrior/walker.

Sorry, I didn't check this before taking my turn. If the plan is to slow roll them, I can do that. Though, having never played nor run this, I do have a minor worry that the appearance of further ships might be timed and we could end up having to fight more than one if we take too long. Just putting that out there.

We keep getting sub-5s for my init rolls, so I wouldn't count on us winning init.

Also, as a heads up, I have people coming out to my house tomorrow to replace my heat pump and clean my ducts. They said to expect it to take all day. I'm spending today cleaning my house and tomorrow dealing with that, so I won't be sitting in front of my computer and may miss a needed roll. Please please please, do not hesitate to bot me.

"I think I'm gonna hurl!" Jindam looks for a vomit bag while prepping to pilot the ship into the next combat. "Can I get one of them remove affliction potions? I'll save it for later if I can."

I'm not familiar with this disease, so I'm not sure if I'm latent or fatigued or what? I'm all for using the priming this combat. However, assuming the map is correct, there's no way we can do a flyby attack this round, so I'm just going to move and evade.

Has the jinsul toke actually moved on the map? It looks like it's in the same spot? If the jinsul token hasn't moved yet, I'm not sure what to do because I don't know their position. I'm going to put what I will do, assuming they've already moved, in a spoiler. If they haven't moved, please let me know when they have and I'll adjust what I do accordingly.

It looks to me like if I do a back-off, I'll go back 4 and I'm assuming he'd move forward 6, which would put us each in magic hexes which would mean we could target their forward/starboard with our forward/starboard and vice-versa. I don't see a better option for their movement, so I'm going to assume they'll do that and back off.

TL gets piloting ranks and Evade boost as well as AC does. That should be 25 AC 24 TL for last round. 23/22 if I don't evade.

It's not clear to me from the slide show what hex the Jinsul is in or what direction he's facing currently. I'm not sure from where I see it right now how it shot us in our starboard arc (it's in our forward arc and a non-magic hex, right now). I want to take my turn, but what I would do would be based on his position and that isn't clear to me.

I'm looking at the map now and assuming he hasn't moved, he was in our front arc. How did he shoot us in our starboard arc? As far as I can tell, neither of us are in a magic hex based on current positions. I'm all for using the proposed boosts. Looking at the map though, it's hard to tell what direction the Jinsul is facing. If he's facing the left side of the map and I do a back off, I go left 4, he goes left 6, and he ends up in our starboard arc, not forward. I don't think a backoff is a good idea. The only way that works is if he's facing the NW hex face, which wouldn't have allowed it to fire its forward guns. I haven't moved anything yet because I'm not clear on the positions, currently.
