Thanks for the update GM. Good luck!

Done.

May I Present Janus, a Chelaxian refugee, for your consideration.

Any Questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Janus

Janus was devised for a serpent's skull game that never happened, then was not selected for your last run. I'm going to redo his crunch and reclass him as a hunter rather than a cavalier (Possibly VMC cavalier) His story will remain the same. Rewrite should take 24 hours tops. Any news on a deadline?

Presenting Janus

I'll double check he matches your criteria...

And so we wait with baited breath...

I took it because I boarded in cheliax... :)

I was using ultimate equipment and I spent it on non magical things from the 'gear' section, if it's a problem I can shift stuff around.

So many good characters xD Hope I don't get left in the dust haha
Definitely agree with you - I hope I get in. There's lots of good stuff here.

It's obviously a popular adventure!

There was a recruitment a while back that flopped so I guess there's a fair bit of demand drummed up.

GM of the apes, while I remember what do you consider as "mundane equipment" for the purposes of the campaign traits? I assume scrolls and potions are out as they are magical, but do you consider arms and armour to be 'equipment'?

Janus was very nearly a beastrider for the dinosaur option. But I just couldn't make it work in the end.

I would LOVE to play Janus alongside the priest of Asmodeus... I can see that only going well!

J

I've been wanting to play this since I joined the boards! May I present Janus of the First Law for your perusal.

Janus is all ready to go I think. I'll just double check he fits your character gen rules... should be alright now.

Would you consider a drawback for a third trait?

Dot.

I made this chap for another game but I'll have a look at his background, or just make a new character...

J

Yeah I keep checking back in hope, I liked my character for this, and he was quite specific. But I think the time may have come to let go... I think its dead Jim. Should barrister ever return, (and like you I really do hope he and his are OK) I'm still very much up for this adventure. But I'm not hopeful.

J

Thanks for the update Amsheagar. I share your hopes. Just keen not to miss anything if/when this does develop.

J

Its no drama, life happens. Is anybody in contact with Barrister? Hope he's OK.
J

Spread sheet? That's hard core! If you don't mind me asking (I dont want to derail the thread) what do you use the spreadsheet for?
J

Just realised you're Sariel from the keep of the everflame game I'm following. Great work there!

Will you be teaching Vestris to use poisons? Excellent reference. Love the series.

Not usually a big fan of real life references but I couldn't resist. Some of the best books around! Though Janus is noting like the Falconer I think he would fit in the setting rather well. L

I would ask for Janus to be considered

He is a man on the run, a man lost.

Janus wrote:

Janus takes the backpack from the manservant and shoulders the weight

“I could never thank you for your help tonight Horace, for your help always…”
”I will never have the chance, I will never be returning”
Janus turns and slips through the small sidedoor - out into the night.
“goodbye Horace”
Infernal: “come Vestris”
Janus moves off through the dark gardens, headed for the docks.
Stealth Roll:
Janus: 1d20 + 6 = (17) + 6 = 23
Vestris: 1d20 + 3 = (8) + 3 = 11

Any questions please ask, I can flesh out the history if you would like a more detailed story.

Thank you.
