GM wrote: "You are met at the Bastion's entrance by Major Matt Mason." OMG -- did you add Major Matt Mason on your own or was it written into the module??? Forgive me while I show my age here. Major Matt Mason was a Mattel action figure line of astronauts from the late 1960s *cough* when I was 8 years old *cough*. My parents bought me SO MUCH of that stuff... several action figures, the moon base, a rover, flight sled, exploration suit, and the massive laser cannon. For a deep dive, check out this YouTube video. It totally makes my night!!
Hi, all! I posted details in the new game thread about Llyfr (LEE-fur), the ysoki bartender mystic (Akashic connection) who runs the local bar/restaurant/clinic called Hollow's Chance. As I said in that post, I'm happy to build some backstory connections with other characters. Goodness knows they've (probably) all been through a lot together! Have a good weekend. Stay warm and safe!

Hi, all! I'm part of the 'old crew' from our previous campaign. I've been playing and GMing SF2e since it came out (and building my PF2e knowledge along the way because I've been out of fantasy for a hot minute). Here's where I am with my character concept for GM Q's new campaign. I think she's done, but there's always a chance for some last minute tweaks. I welcome any feedback and backstory connections to other characters!! @GM Q -- Are we starting at 1st level or going a little higher? ----- Llyfr (LEE-fur)
Llyfr's name comes from the local word for books. She loved learning since she was little, devouring any knowledge she could find. Her friends teased her about it, calling her "link rat" because she lived in the library and on the infosphere. She ran the mine's research service and in-house clinic for many years. When the company shut down her department, she moved into Gearwhisker's, a defunct bar and restaurant in town. She renamed the place Hollow's Chance and added a backroom treatment area plus some infosphere terminals for fun and research. Most in the settlement call her Nista-Llyfr now (literally "book mother") to honor her knowledge and willingness to help everyone. Llyfr looks after the townsfolk and heals their hurts, expands their understanding, and makes their pain go away through conversation, teaching, spells, medicine, hearty meals, or stiff drinks. There's an old rumor that when a night raider threatened a family she worked with, Llyfr went full-bore crazed mama on the guy and practically ripped him apart with her teeth. If people ask her about it, she chuckles and waves away the question as the "over-stimulated imagination of some scared kids," but there's always a funny glint in her eye when she says it.

I have one confirmed player and another very likely, so I'm holding seats for them, but anyone is welcome. Are you still looking for players? I'd love to join for a replay. That module is a blast. Let me know!
King Arthur: I am your king.
Gen Con was a blast -- and also filled with surprises. Among them, I received a campaign coin!! Talk about a total shock. A friend shot some video of the presentation. I look like I'm saying "whuttttt?" the whole time I walked from the back of the ballroom to the front so I could shake Alex's hand. Honestly, I'm still in a bit of disbelief even though I'm sitting here staring at my coin. So yeah, Gen Con went well! hehehehehehe I'm looking forward to diving back into our team's story even though Lilly (and I) don't know what to make of it all...
