He assists Iradyiel in searching the room.

ACTION ONE

Jamba casts detect magic on all of the items and bodies that are found. He knocks around during the day and helps with the bodies as much as possible.

During the "funeral", he listens quietly until the end and then adds: "May da sky faddah be wid ya..." He lights a rolled up cigarette at the end of the ceremony and takes a puff to the dead.

ACTION TWO

After the funeral, he starts thinking about the plans for the evening. "Jamba an' Bobo can take da first watch. Jamba be needin' da sleep tah help wit da spell tamorrow." He looks around at the others, Yah all be doin' da good job taday. Jamba tankful fah ya company." He nods and heads to their safe location.

Jamba snooped around the Fort with the others. He stood wearied as they gathered back together. "Jamba be thinkin' dat rest be good? Wat say ya dat we sleep here tanight?" He looks at the others.

"Ya a stupid frogey mon...now ya gonna meet da lady of da graves!" Jamba double moves as far as he can to the next tower. I think I could get there, but there are people in the way. He falls prone to avoid being shot at.

Jamba moves the others out of the way. "If Jamba be wantin' someting done, Jamba gots ta do it hisself den." In Polygot:

"Listen mistah frogey. No one here wanting ta hurt ya. Maybe I an I work out dah arrangement to settle dis wit out da bloodshed. Jamba from da Expanse to...we be brodahs, mon!" He pauses to let that sink in. "Wat ya wantin' ta keep? Maybe I and I work outta deal? No?" Continuing, "Jamba's mateys be angry. Jamba no wanting dem ta charge. Let Jamba know wat ya wanting."

Jamba took off quickly after seeing the ape drop. Double move to P6. "Jamba goin' ta cut da hearts out of dem assassins by Gozreh's bolts." He is clearly angered.

Jamba turned to the Druid as he approached the cart and well. "Dere be no magics here, mon. Do ya ting." He stepped back and let Chest Thumper inspect the area closer. "Dat reptilian nice, nice now? Dat a purty nifty trick ya pulled!"

Jamba moved around the room toward the decaying bodies. He made sure to keep the Druid between he and the reptile. He casted detect magic and began scanning the bodies, trying not to interrupt the druids actions or threaten the creature. He then moved toward the well cautiously, still scanning for magic.

Jamba walked into the shop and looked around. He turned tithe female handling as she spoke. "Nah. Jamba not be needin' nothin'. Jus lookin' around. Nice shop ya have here." He checked out a few of the potions, picking them up and holding them to the natural light in the room. "Jamba be lookin' fah a job wid a expedition. Oh...dis be a nice one." He pointed out a clear green potion. "What be dis?"

Bonuwat


The Bonuwat are seafarers, and as such are often the group most encountered by the outside world. The Mwangi found in ports such as Bloodcove or the Shackles tend to be Bonuwat. They are excellent fishermen and sailors. They worship a janiform of Gozreh and Desna which they call Shimye-Magalla. Bonuwat are of average height, with wide mouths and swarthy or dusky skin. Their hair is often straight and they favour colourful, exotic clothing such as vests and baggy pantaloons.

"Jamba be Bonuwatti. I an' I grew up in a fishing village near da coast." He pulled out and lit a joint. He took a drag and then handed it to the man. "Dat sum craziness earlier no doubt. Crazies pullin da swords an' cuttin' folks. Why ya here in da expanse?

Jamba followed Iradyiel to the shacks. He seemed like a relatively kind gentleman. Jamba watched at the half-elf held the door open. He followed the other inside. "Thank ya...Da name be Jamba." He held out his hand to the barbarian.

Turn Four, Action Two

Jamba woke up and spent time communing with his sea serpent, Bobo. After picking his spells, he headed to Heri’s Conservatorium to see if there was anything or anyone of interest. Walking through the streets, he whistled and nodded at those he met.

Jamba watched as the group of adventurers he travelled with reacted to the encounter. Dese whiteys be mad in da head... He straightened up a bit as the sheriff addressed the group. "Jamba. I and I jus be returnin' home, hopin' ta get a job. Jamba don't be knowin' half dese crazy whiteys. Da lady who do dat..." He pointed to the rapier wound. "...be gone. Ran off dat direction." He pointed in the direction in which the rogue ran.

I agree 100% that we are good without adding. Tweaking crunches is a good idea if needed. I am loving the game. Good job, brother!

Jamba steps out of the boat P8. He hexes the man with the bottle, attempting to decrease his attack by 2 Evil Eye. "You don't wanna use dat bottle now do ya? Let' talk dis out before da law be arrivin'. Dat be no good for anyone. Besides...dat bottle no match for dese weapons no how."

DC 14 will save or -2 to attack for 7 rounds.

I for one am loving the format!!

Jamba's eyes widen at the sight of the Maelstrom. "Ayyyyyy! Da Sky Fadda be showin' out dis night!" He watches as the others head below deck. He stays with the crew, attempting to assist them in sailing.

Profession (sailor): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

He runs around with his wiry frame and is surprisingly effective. "Adjust da boom! Dere! Wave comin' on da port side!"

Action Two"

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Jamba listens as Naima calls the thugs out. "Why da whiteys always get ta fightin' when dey be drinkin'? Us Mwangi just wanna chill an enjoy da buzz. Poor fat merchant be scaredy, scardey. I and I be needin' to help."

Action 3

When they get closer, Jamba calls out. "No need fah dah violence." He prepares to go ashore, unwilling to jump and take a chance of getting wet.

Jamba gave a teethy grin when the lady spoke in Polygot. He shook her hand. "Name be Jamba." He poured himself and the lady some rum. "Tell Jamba bout dis Cobalt vessel. Where yas be headin'?"

Jamba looked down as the apeman poked his holy symbol. He was jarred a bit by the force of the finger. He nodded at the man. "Dat be da truth, Talawah!" After the man walked off, Jamba spoke again. "Jamba be likin' dat one der, Bobo."

Talawah is polygot for "jungle beast".

Jamba pulled a small paper out of his back pack. He laid it on the table and then poured some dried up buds on it. He gave a teethy smile again before rolling it into a pinky sized joint, licking the sides. He looked it over well one time before lighting it. Looking at Umuzu,"A lil afta din din ganji?"

A dark skinned, Mwangi gentleman climbed the stairs from the lower deck and strolled over to the feast. His long, dirty dreadlocks dangled loosely in front of his face making it nearly impossible to see his expression. His upper half was covered partially by a ragged, leather vest that was filled with crude fetishes. Tattoos colored the entirety of his dark, skinny arms. A wooden symbol of Gozreh rested on his bare chest, hanging from a string around his neck. He appeared to be talking to himself as he advanced.

"Wut ya mean, Bobo?" He listened for a bit then responded to himself. "Nuh, Nuh, Nuh. Jamba thinkin da bredren be weaky, weaky. Dey no use ta da waves. Maybe Gozreh help dem." He stopped about 15 feet from the gathered group and turned to face the fat merchant. "It do dat man sum good ta not eat Jamba be thinkin'."

He started walking again and sat near Umuzu. He turned toward the Zenj woman, "Wa gwaan! Hello Dat sailfish be lookin' tasty, tasty! Wut a sistren like ya doin' on a boat like dis?"

Seeing the sandy haired, tan and athletic lady arrive, he gave her some advice, To Aza: "Sistren, ya drink sum of dis an' it will help da sicky, sicky." He pointed to a vat of red wine on the table. +2 to Aza's Fort save

I read through the explanation. I really like the system and I am looking forward to the opportunity to try it out. I love the RP aspect of the game and that system appears to encourage that. "Jamba be feelin' da blessin', mon."


I am pleased to introduce Jamba Mumbata. He is a native of the Mwangi Expanse, who was kidnapped and pressganged on a pirate ship as a child. He has spent twenty years on the seas and has been involved with several expeditions to the Expanse. He was able to free himself from pirating several years ago (with the help of his spiritual guide, Bobo) and would like to return to the expanse to seek out a career as a jungle guide. His secret desire is to use these expeditions to search out ancient artifacts and tomes to grow in power. He is a servant of Gozreh.

I'd love to join with this guy. I'd just need to rework his level and wealth. I read much of the game thread and I think he would fit well with your crew! It would add an arcane caster. He is a lot of fun.

Jamba lights a rolled cigarette and heads out on the deck to enjoy the ocean. As he takes in the mist spraying from vessel splitting the waves, he takes long drags from the cigarette. He mumbles toward the eye.
