Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
Ixen eyes each in turn as they speak but his expression is neutral, even by kobold standards. Taking a breath. "Tired or not I doubt we will come across such good and more importantly solidly safe of a location. We should rest here, not only for our bodies but a bit for our souls I think. Then we can move on all the better. I rather walk into the unknown then rush headlong into it. At least until our situation changes." They were well supplied for the moment and more then a few were battered without real rest sense the event that brought them below. It was the best move to him. He would not mind preying to Apsu for a while as well. Nothing against the dwarf god but his blessings and power were not granted by him.

Sense Motive DC 15: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Ixen's face twist as kobold faces were not as shifting as scaleless ones. He whispers harshly to both. "What did I just say. Keep. Your. Voices. Down. We were killing some sort of undead, while I do not claim to understand every god. I know enough that, that sort of creature, was no priest or holy guardian. The way it reacted to Torag's name makes me think it was some agent of a power that hates him. Now if you value your lives or ours for that matter you will remember their are more important things then your opinions of one another." Diplomacy Aid: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15 Picking up on Anevia. "I do not know what is bothering you or what you are worried about. But I can sense it, my advise is talking about it rather then letting it get the better of you as I suspect it just did. That is only my advice though." Yeah someone with a high diplomacy take this, I'll just support cause mine sucks. xP

Ixen having been watching and prepared, fired as the creature attacked. Readied Crossbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 As the hooded creature exposes itself before them. He get's a look at it's horrid visage. Knowledge (Religion) DC 12: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 It seemed he could not tell what kind of monster it was, clearly not an average dwarf. Not that it mattered much, he shot another bolt at it. Crossbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 191d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
Ixen's crossbow is at the ready, lone figures in a dusty room were rarely good things. If it became hostile he would shoot it. He just hoped it was not some holy guardian. But then it should not attack them, they were hardly evil. But then again, soft skinned had a bad habit of seeing kobolds and trying to kill them for nothing else. Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
Ixen looks at the strange cavern with a hidden building. Knowledge (Religion) vs DC 10: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 He recognizes the symbol. "That's the symbol of Torag, god of dwarves. We may find an ally in there or at least a safe haven to rest. Should we go?" Kobolds and dwarves did not get along normally but that was when the kobolds did not worship Apsu as they did. The two gods never had any trouble so why should their worshipers. Why don't I ever get those during an attack xP

With the items in hand he lays them out for everyone. "Well not a treasure trove, but more light time is nice. A bit of rope is always handy and a bedroll is softer then stone. Don't know what use the fish hook could have." He holds the brooch up to let it shine against the torch light. "A strange brooch does not seem overly useful but if it keeps my cloak on more. Then no complaints from me." He pins it on his chest. "So anyone going to scout ahead with me?"
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
Ixen carefully looks the area over for anything of interest. Now that the vermin were taken care, a part of him wanted to rush but he ignored it. They would not be coming back and anything that would come to feed on the dead would not do so quickly. They had time to salvage. Take 20 on perception for 30. Even junk may prove useful.
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
Ixen places a clawed hand on his face. He had forgotten sense he never used them. "Sorry I just remembered I have some torches. Their just useless for me concerning light, don't know why that elf packed them for me. I guess I can't blame him now." He retrieves one from his pack and hands it over after lighting it. This is why you get kits, they have basic stuff you often forget you have. xP
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
He speaks in draconic for everyone. "I only saw one, but it was big. I mean eat one of us big. Which is why caution is advisable, not to mention we don't know how many dangers we will encounter. I would take a easy fight at any chance, we may not be so lucky in the future. It's pointless to expand our strength unless necessary."
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
He knew better then to take on an unknown enemy alone if he could avoid it. Still he would not make a amateur mistake like rushing back to the others. He takes his time and carefully retreats back towards the others. Keeping his crossbow ready, just in case. After all a well placed bolt is more detrimental then a fleeing backside. Take 20/10, Stealth 32/22 and Perception 30/20. Once he returns to the others. "I have found an old campsite. I would have checked it out more thoroughly but it had a trash pile with feelers sticking out. No doubt more vermin enjoying themselves, but I could not get a good look so no guess as to the kind. Has the black kobold returned yet?" Don't think Dra'zaak has given his name yet.
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
Ixen gets the message, it was basic for scouts. He takes the other route, his senses as sharp as his movements were smooth and silent. He remembered his old tribe, the many dangers of the deep they faced and avoided. Even some they were allied with, while he did not think much of their morality or lack there of. They were indeed much of what the kobold race could become and the what the softskins did not think them to be. He shakes his head, they wasted away in a different kind of weakness. He would do better and hopefully others as well once the proper path was open. This was the beginning perhaps.
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
His attention drawn he looks over at the pair. He did not know what tribe they came from but it seemed they were lacking in knowledge of their own people. Speaking in draconic. "I find it less distasteful to speak in their language then having those without draconic blood speak our language. If you can not be bothered to learn theirs then why would they learn ours. Concerning kobolds and humans, our numbers can match and easily exceed theirs. We reproduce faster and more efficiently, but we do not suffer weakness like they do. So our death rate is higher. Do not let your pride and ego blind you, the demons will use it against you. Tarendelev did not hold such weakness and yet she fell. Unless you claim to be greater then she, remember that. If you do make such a claim then take your pride with you and go at it alone. I will not abandon the softskins, if the crusade could be won with such divisions in the ranks. Then it would not have lasted as long as it has, or cost so much in blood. Dragon blood as well if you have not forgotten." He did not like remembering the fallen silver dragon but he was not one to hide from uncomfortable truths. Learn from your mistakes and move on, Apsu had done well in teaching him that.

While things calmed and danger seemed to be gone for the moment. Ixen keeps his crossbow out and alert but takes the time to introduce himself. "I am Ixen Edar out of Vigil in Lastwall. A warpriest of Apsu. Once we are ready to move let me know, I am a good scout and don't mind taking point." His training was starting to come out in full.
Male Kobold Slayer 1 / Warpriest 1
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Ixen aims at the nearest maggot and shoots his crossbow. He could deal with soft skins later, some he already liked more then others and under different circumstances would even attempt to play at those manners they tend to like so much. But all things had a time and place. Crossbow vs Maggot: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 261d6 ⇒ 4
Looks like Apsu likes his warpriest, not just a name. xP

With the female taken care of enough that she won't die of blood loss, he draws his crossbow and prepares to fire at whatever may come out of the spider. Personally he doubted it was a demon, why would they be interested in eating a spider from the inside out. Then again they were odd foul things, his thoughts jumped more to rats or other natural scavengers of the dark. Not that he was opposed to killing a few demons at the moment.

Perception DC 14: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Ixen shook his head, making sure his wits and memories were about him. Terendelev had fallen, the great silver dragon died before his eyes and he was useless. Apsu had granted him power and he could not use a bit of it for one of his champions. A deep sadness crept into him but was quickly overcome by a stronger anger, the demon would pay. The balor would be destroyed for it's crime and joined by thousands more he vowed in the dark. He notices the dead spider as well as something moving about with in making a meal of it. The scales of fallen Terendelev and the fellow kobold that picks them up along with those still unrisen. More importantly he notices the human female's wound. He rushes over to tend to it as best he can. Outside magical healing his skill in that area were basic. "We must stop the bleeding. Sadly it is beyond me to do much more then offer a splint." His common is surprisingly good. Something he learned from his time in Vigil as the elf made a point to teach him.

While I don't mind the loot tracking, having stuff deducted from each persons share is something I don't like. We will not all be playing the same roles much less using the same equipment. Magic types rely on magic items while physical types rely on armor and weapons more. Loot is rarely found in a perfect set up for the party. We may find tons of physical type items but little to none magic type items. At best they will have to use their shares to buy the items they want while other members just claim/upgrade what they found. This will create an unbalance among the PCs depending on the loot obtained. Some will have to spend little to nothing for gear while others have to buy a lot. But I may be worrying for nothing. Personally I tend to be of the mind set that the items go to those best suited for them. Gold/art/gems and such are broken up fairly and unwanted loot is sold and profits split. Not going to have our tank go without upgrading his armor because he is a little short on coin anymore then I would want healers to charge me for healing. It's a group, everyone works and profits together. Not to mention we are kobolds, very little personally property in our culture. The tribe comes first. xP As for the types of dragons. Was simple for Ixen, he used to be a red scale. So fire is his element, only two metallic dragons are fire types. Gold and Brass, the brass are just to out there character wise for Ixen so went gold. I intend to give him mixed scales at some point which will be copper so that counts kinda. ;)

Ixen had arrived at last, he was a newcomer to the city. The traffic coming into the city before the festival was huge indeed and varied. Lucky for him he was used to moving about bigger folk from his time in Vigil. His natural nimble abilities coupled with his training made it easy to move about crowds, as did his size. Most simply never noticed him and those that did only ever caught sight of his tail as he moved on. Only the city guards at the entrance had given him problems and that was only until they saw his holy symbol and noticed his ship came from Lastwall. Those silly demon and evil test that they used on so called random visitors were nothing to him. It was only when they sought to check his weapons and person in more detail that his patience had run out along with his knowledge of the laws and their touching upon breaking it. After all he knew how foolish large folk could be, more so humans, but their was a line and he would be damned if he let them cross it in regards to him. He shook his head of all that recent annoyance. It was a festival and the great silver dragon would be making her appearance soon. Ducking and dodging legs and others of his height he made his way to a good perch atop a number of crates piled next to a near by stall. It was a good vantage point over the heads of everyone with a clear view of the surroundings. When the stall owner noticed him, he complained until he tossed him a gold coin for his perch and few sticks of spiced roasted meat. Few knew kobolds could survive on little food but could eat large amounts easily as well, something they shared with their greater draconic cousins. His legs dangled over the create as he tore a bit of meat and watched as things progressed.
At 5th level you get another language to speak in combat. Sense it's the world wound, choose abyssal. Anyone that has been around there for a while will be able to understand you including demons which we will be fighting the most I take it. If the DM allows the downtime rules for learning a language, everyone can pick it up as well or even other languages that may prove useful. As for your sacred space, if you picked silver dragons then the city we are going to can be considered a sacred space. They don't specify space size and dragons do get pretty big. Could talk to the DM about it, hope that helps. ;)
