Inhin apologizes as he realizes the disaster that happened. "That’s on me. Seven, I hope you're okay. This was not my intention.”

Inhin glances at Yaeger, and gives some words of encouragement. “Hey, that moan’s awful, I know,” he says calmly. “But you’re still standing, and that’s what matters. If you focus enough, you'll hear Seven's voice instead of the moaning. It shall make you more courageous and help us win this fight!”

Inhin decides to help deal damage, quickly reloading his clan pistol and preparing to fire in the next round. Noticing the backline under threat, he snaps an order to Bakal.

“Bakal, switch targets! White one, now!”

The construct sees Eskelle’s critical condition and gives a firm nod, as if silently assuring the lizardfolk that it will return for him.

Nevertheless, the construct provides reinforcement on the backlines and strikes the white choker.

Inhin looks surprised, then smiles at Wimsy. “Oh, thanks! That helps a lot,” he says, making space for the commander.

Bakal tilts its head and holds still, optics flickering as if curious. Inhin chuckles. “I guess Bakal approves.”

Then upon hearing Miel's request, Inhin’s eyes flick to the shield and light up.

“Oh, yes! absolutely!" he tells the guardian as he inspects the shield. "Ahhh yesss. Steel. Now this I understand,” he says with a grin as he takes it, giving it a firm tap. He runs his hand along the surface, already checking for dents and stress marks.

Bakal spends 3 minutes repairing Miel's shield, restoring 20 HP. Btw, on my previous post, Inhin spends only 2 minutes repairing Bakal and it restores 10 HP to Bakal and additional 10 HP from Wimsy's aid. I forgot that Inhin has the quick repair skill feat from his background.

Inhin spends 20 minutes repairing the damage to his construct, then another 10 minutes fine-tuning its components, restoring full functionality and allowing Bakal to use its unstable actions once again. He wipes his hands on his coat and says, “Alright Bakal, back to being dangerously functional.”

I'll change Inhin's exploration activity to Investigate to try to recall additional knowledge about the ruins and find helpful clues, if there are.

Inhin hurries to Bakal and kneels beside it. He opens his tool kit and starts tightening loose parts.

“Hold still, you did good,” he says, fixing a bent plate and reconnecting a loose wire.

Failure = The innovation malfunctions in a spectacular (though harmless) fashion and it becomes incapable of being used for further unstable actions.

Bakal stays quiet, lights dimming as the repairs finish. The repair worked though Bakal immediately belched out a puff of smoke.

Inhin pats his construct. "There. Still standing, that’s what matters." Bakal straightens, energy humming through its frame, ready to fight again.

Ohh yeah. My sleepy eyes didn't notice it last night when I posted. I was only looking at the sum and not the result of the die rolls. If the GM allows, I'll definitely use my hero point since Bakal only has 1 hp left.

As the choker's grip tightens around its neck, Bakal’s internal sensors flare and pressure readings spike.

Despite the danger, Inhin flips Bakal into overdrive again. "Hang in there Bakal! Perhaps more power will fix this situation", Inhin shouts to the struggling construct.

The construct tries to power up but more smoke spill from its joints. “Wooops! It seems the wiring was wrong this time around. Entirely fixable”, Inhin whispers to himself.

He then commands Bakal to try and escape from the creature. Bakal, that creature is not authorized for close contact! Break free, now!

Bakal’s pistons suddenly reverse. Steam bursts from its joints as it twists hard, metal plates scraping until the creature’s grip slips.

Inhin grins and mutters, “Ha! Emergency escape worked. Definitely on purpose.”

He then snaps his fingers, eyes wide with manic focus. “BAKAL, HIT AND RUN!!! One solid punch, then disengage! Don’t let that clingy creature touch you again!”

Inhin immediately senses the danger and snaps Bakal into overdrive mode.

But instead of surging with energy, the construct sputters and thin plumes of smoke spill from its joints. “Ehhh??!! Wrong setting, wrong setting,” Inhin mutters.

Still, he points forward. “Bakal, close in and strike!”

Despite the smoke, Bakal lurches ahead and swings at the humanoid creature with a heavy punch.

Inhin slows down as they enter the ruins. His eyes lights up as he mutters, "Now this is inspired craftsmanship".

Curiosity quickly takes over as he scans the area and assesses the ruin's structural design and integrity.

“Alright,” he tells his allies, excitement barely contained. “Multiple pathways, compromised stonework, and at least one sealed door that’s absolutely hiding something. Which part do we explore first?”

“Here Esskele, one of the minor healing potions Sorrina gave us back at the Grand Lodge,” he says. “Best to keep you standing while we’re poking around ancient ruins.”

He gives Bakal a light tap on the shoulder plate. “You ready, partner?” Bakal straightens and lets out a confident buzz.

Inhin nods approvingly. “Good. Let’s see what secrets that place is hiding.”

He chuckles lightly. “Just make sure next time, you’ve got someone watching your back.”

He then settles down and begins cleaning and maintaining his clan pistol.

Inhin glances at the nearby ruins and structures, curiosity already stirring, then catches himself and refocuses on the chief. He straightens and offers a short, earnest bow as well.

“Chief Thakik, the honor is ours,” he says with relief upon the mention of Rain. “I’m Inhin Yero, Pathfinder and an inventor. This is my latest invention, Bakal.”

Bakal gives a small, polite nod, gears ticking softly.

“If there’s anything we can do to repay your kindness, please let us know.”

Bakal charges towards the white ball python. The construct swings both fists in a heavy, piston-driven strike, aiming at the creature’s coiled body.

Inhin moves carefully through the swamp, keeping it low and silent, signaling Bakal to follow quietly.

“Slow and quiet, like we belong here”, Inhin whispers to Bakal.

While the others search for Rain, Inhin and Bakal blend into the swamp, keeping their senses sharp for any dangerous creatures Wimsy had warned them about during the meeting at the Grand Lodge.

Inhin and Bakal are avoiding notice. They will roll stealth for initiative should there be an encounter in this exploration.

Inhin picks up one minor healing potion from Sorrina and one from pathfinder provision. He also takes the wayfinder and keeps it in his pocket. "We will be travelling into unfamiliar territory so this might come in handy. I hope you don't mind if I keep it for now", he tells his teammates.

Inhin follows the team as they head out into the docks. He watches in amazement as Miel moves effortlessly through the crowd, gathering information and easily securing leads on available boats. "Way to go Cap! No tools, no diagrams, just words! I should really study that!”, he says while applauding the Guardian.

Inhin looks at the guardian and answers him, “We’re ready Cap! I hope you don’t mind if I call you Captain. You seem like the man who would lead us while protecting us from getting blown up… I mean from harm.

He tilts his head towards dean Marcos and asks, "And you did mention that we need to find a boat. Does anyone know where we can find a boat???”

Inhin Yero was born and raised in Alkenstar, a city where engineering brilliance and catastrophic explosions go hand-in-hand. From a young age, he loved dismantling household devices just to see how many different ways they could be put back together.

Growing up, his restless curiosity shaped him into a full-fledged inventor. His most recent creation is Bakal, a mechanical creature forged from gears, metal plates, and countless nights of inspired tinkering. Bakal stands as the culmination of Inhin’s years of experimentation, creativity, and chaotic genius.

A wild-eyed, “mad scientist” dwarf enters the meeting room, accompanied by his clanking construct. Grease, rust, and ash stains are all over his face, arms and studded leather armor, as if he walked straight out of an explosion.

When he speaks, his hands constantly sketch invisible diagrams in the air. He often talks to himself, not out of madness, but because he’s already thinking about his next innovation.

He introduces himself to everyone in the room. "Sorry I’m late, mates! A “minor” explosion occurred in my workshop. Perfectly safe! Probably…??? I’m Inhin Yero by the way, a tinkerer, inventor, and proud creator of Bakal here.”

1. Dwarf Inventor (Construct Innovation) - a utility PC that can do decent melee damage/tanking/healing in the frontline and provide additional ranged damage from the back. Effective in scenarios and circumstances wherein crafting is heavily utilized. He is also resistant to fire/hot environments.

I'm quite new to the game and this would be a great opportunity to familiarize myself with the different mechanics and fun adventures pathfinder has to offer. I also like the idea of committing to playing with the same group for a long time. It gives us the chance to witness the character development of each other's PCs.

I'll do my best in creatively roleplaying my character's personality and background which will add more depth during the scenarios.
