"All your friends have fled or fallen. Sure you want to keep pushing it?" Oh, her delivery was so much better last time. She throws a rather putrid-smelling cake, and another one. Scraping the bottom of the barrel for ingredients, the second one just explodes. And barely at that!

"Oh, get off of her you rude little... imp!" Ida maneuvers as she mixes, throwing something at the imp that crackles with energy, and then following it up with a very basic mixture that draws in heat from the air around it.

Ida mutters to herself as she works, unintelligible phrases that include words like, "Brute!" and "Bully!" She tastes something she makes, though the result is a little disappointing.

She throws something else at Petra, which looks like it works a little better. "You know, ever since the first time I made the soup a little too spicy, explosives really have been more of my specialty," she admits.

The Quick Vial doesn't have any rider. It's like a cantrip, weaker then a standard bomb but at will with no cost.

Ida moves away. Out of the protection of the smoke, but the cavern walls protect her from most of the enemies in any case. A construct? That limits her options a little.

But not by that much. She adds a few ingredients that can give a pleasant tingly sensation if used correctly, and uses them incorrectly. She toss them at the armor creature before they pop.

Ida will use her Bomber specialty so the splash only affects Armor. Splash doesn't double on a crit, so that's 26 damage and Off-Guard for a round.

Ida pulls a small cake from her apron pocket and eats it while squinting through the smoke. "You can just tell how much they don't want to hurt anyone like he said," she says, mixing up something and hurling it at the Hellknight. The alchemical components react to air by rapidly cooling, hopefully freezing exactly when they hit their target...

"We aren't taking them anywhere. We're rescuing them, not imprisoning them. They can go where they like. Away from here, I assume. Your queen has made herself rather unpopular, I'm afraid.

"And no."

Ida crosses her arms. "Now then. There is no need for violence. We have no desire to kill or harm... anyone, actually. We're rather good at it, you know, but we do try to avoid such things. If you acquiesce to our demands we will let you go. Peacefully. We are much more reasonable then you and require only one thing: Go away."

Ida moves a little closer. "Why don't you stick around? Stay right there." She whips up a marshmallow-y cake that bursts into a sticky glob. Seeing that the fight is going well and she has no need to be stingy with her ingredients, she adds something with an almost painfully lemony scent.

Your description didn't mention the bug person, but I assume Blue is also hostile? Ida will attack Yellow instead if not.

"Hm." Ida steps forward, mixing quickly. "Something Hells-born, you said?" They certainly aren't ordinary wasps, anyway. After almost forgetting to add the activating ingredient, she throws something that bursts and releases disorienting fumes.

And then something a little simpler. The paper nests make her think fire would be useful, but if they're devilish then perhaps not... she tries it anyway.

"Is this all?" And is Arnisant one of the four? "I was expecting more, though the count's letter did not specify a number. Let's see... in addition to rescuing the people trapped here, we are to look out for items that might 'cause trouble' should the enemy acquire them. We've been to the map room and collected items from there. There was also a record book mentioned, which I don't believe we've seen--do you have that, and if not can we get it? Or anything else dangerous you can think of."

Ida turns to Dame Sabina. "I think this question is mostly for you... Valais asked us to find any information we can about a Hellknight named Marius. The letter said you'd already provided information about another Hellknight, Petra. Do you know anything about Marius?"

Passing biscuits around, Ida also takes out her medical tools. "I'm not the best medic we have, am I? Oh dear. Well, let's see how I can manage."
She sets to tending her wounds. And eating a biscuit.

Ida recovers extra HP equal to her level whenever anyone Treats her Wounds as long as she can eat a snack, due to her Hillock Halfling heritage.
Plus at least 10 from pearly white spindle in that time, and she's good.
The only other injured person was Ephesian, who wasn't down as much so should be recovered from his own pearly white spindle.

Assuming she actually made it the 10 minutes without interruption...

"Ah, I feel better." Ida checks her alchemy ingredients, which she has somehow managed to partially replenish while stitching her wound, repurposing bits of ointment, cookie crumbs, and something she found under the cushion. "If I can take a bit more time, I think I can scrounge everything I need in here."

Versatile Vials fully restored in another 10 minutes.

Realizing she sounds irritable and not especially convincing, Ida fishes the letter from one of her pockets and shines the light of her wayfinder on it. "Right, right. We're here to 'shoot him the tines.' What on Golarian does that mean? I guess that's the point. Nobody's going to say that by chance."

Ida is glad that the bigfolk are getting between her and the Hellknights, but--still!

"Here you go, this one is a little spicy."

Ida steps back, again mixing up something that begins to crackle with electricity as she hurls it. She then mixes up something a little more haphazardly. "No use in using my good ingredients here. This may burn a little, but if you tasted it properly you'd find it's quite tangy and burns you."

Her throws are more controlled this time, reducing splatter (and leaving Ephesian unharmed).

"Did we just go upstairs to find a secret passage that led us back to where we started, to find an entirely separate secret passage that led where we wanted to go? I suppose it might be a kind of magical lock. The doorway doesn't appear unless you've gone through the other secret passage first..."

When she sees the Hellknights, Ida scowls. "Such rude brutes!" Against her better judgement, she moves up so she has a better shot. She quickly starts mixing some things up and chucking them at the nearest one.

The first starts sparking as it leaves her hand, and the crackling electricity should slow their reaction time--letting her him 'em with something that looks like a pastry but bursts to release a murky purple gas.

Actually... doesn't matter. If Ida's Quicksilver Mutagen has worn off, she's also had time to recover a Versatile Vial and will just make another one.

Ida idly passes a small vial to Tarta and Ephesian along with their cakes.

Sharp weapons? Then you should each take a dose of graveroot.

"And I do have some cakes with a bit more kick--those aren't just sweets, though, and you should save them for when you need them. Guns and bows? Take these, though be warned they'll also make you a little less hardy. If you don't want them, let me know. I won't be offended, and I'll do something else."

You can each take a quicksilver mutagen if you'd like one. Ida will take two herself.

She frowns at Matei. "I'm sorry, I don't think I have anything in particular for you, dear. You're welcome to a mutagen, but if you aren't using a ranged weapon, I don't know that you'd be able to predict when it might be useful. And I can give you something infused with healing elixir, but I daresay it might be wasted in a doctor's hands. I can help you see in the dark, but most of us can't so we'd still need light--and I just can't efficiently do that for everyone. Well, have an extra cupcake instead."

Matei can have a quicksilver mutagen or darkvision elixir if he wants one.
Ida will make elixirs of life with any leftover Advanced Alchemy, but unfortunately those don't scale until level 5 so she's still using the level 1 type--1d6 healing and +1 vs poison and disease. Might still be useful in a pinch, so she'll give those to party members who don't otherwise have healing abilities.

She puts her hand into the same apron pocket from which she produced the pastries and draws out a small vial, which she holds up to show everybody. "Oh," she says brightly, "and if any of you wants any poison you just let Granny Ida know."

Hmm.. We have a couple of characters with healing, but the GM warns about "brutal combat." But I think I will go with a lesser potion of fire resistance for Ida's Pathfinder Provision.

Ida takes a small cake out of one of her pouches. "Here, have some cake. Now, I'm pretty sure that's not how contractors work. If you're here on a contract, then someone sent you. That's what the word means, I think."

It wasn't quite true. The mutagen Ida made for herself wasn't exactly a health drink, and it had hurt her--the cost one must pay for the benefits. But she can't heal that until it wears off anyway.
Ida did take 6 damage from the quicksilver mutagen. Should've mentioned that. The damage can't be healed while it's in effect.
That's in effect for 10 minutes. Once it wears off she can heal herself (elixirs of life: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8) to full with no cost but Versatile Vials, which are fully restored after another 10 minutes.

She can Escape (DC 19) to end the effect early. Alternatively, she can end the effect without a check with three Interact actions to carefully remove the glue. These checks don't have to be consecutive, and can be provided by other creatures. (On a crit she's also immobilized for one round, but that doesn't look likely.)

Nodding at the cakes, she indicates her bulging pockets. "Don't you worry, I'm very organized! None of those should explode. And here, take these biscuits! But don't eat them. They're for healing. And does anybody want any poison? If you want some poison, you just let me know."
She pats one of her pockets. It's not the same one she just took the healing biscuits out of... probably?
