"Oh, get off of her you rude little... imp!" Ida maneuvers as she mixes, throwing something at the imp that crackles with energy, and then following it up with a very basic mixture that draws in heat from the air around it.

Tarta slashes at Red twice and hits with her second blow. She moves away.
The GM reminds Tarta that we are playing Pathfinder and not Starfinder ;) (the first time I saw 'guarded step' I went bonkers trying to find it on Archives of Nethys!)
Squeg greets his friend, causing Red to turn around. Squeg then puts a shot in Red's arm before moving away to reload.

With only enough of the good ingredients left for one decent mix, Ida hopes to make it count.
"All your friends have fled or fallen. Sure you want to keep pushing it?" Oh, her delivery was so much better last time. She throws a rather putrid-smelling cake, and another one. Scraping the bottom of the barrel for ingredients, the second one just explodes. And barely at that!

COMBAT OVER
Searching Maralictor Petra, under Dame Sabina's watchful eye, you find the following note:
"We expect a knight of the Glorious Reclamation to be in the count’s employ. If she is, slaughter her first. But do not trust the maralictor the queen assigned to assist you. I believe Marius Salutio is of the Glyph and cannot be trusted. — Paralictor Ekodyre"
You then follow the twists and turns through the caverns beneath Egorian with help from Arnisant’s skillful tracking and a hastily drawn map that Benedet left with Sabina if she survived. Sabina clutches the map, fighting off tears until the sound of a thunderous explosion far behind the Pathfinders’ announces the destruction of Greensteeples and every being within its walls. With a mournful howl from Arnisant, Sabina no longer holds back her tears, trying desperately to comfort Malla in her own grief.
When you finally return to the Southgate Inn, expecting magical conveyance to Absalom, Nan tells you of what happened inside the city while you were underground. Greensteeples exploded in an eruption of flame and magma, casting a pillar of fire hundreds of feet into the sky that proved viewable even from the inn. No one inside the sprawling manor survived. This brings renewed grief to Sabina and Malla, which Nan shares with them when she is told that Benedet stayed behind, likely setting the explosion off themself.
Sabina, Malla and Arnisant return with you to the Grand Lodge. Once there, Paracountess Zarta Dralneen joins Fola Barun and Valais Durant in debriefing the Pathfinders. One of the items you managed to take out of Greensteeples is a sealed envelope with her name on an attached ribbon, though you don't remember that being with the items Benedet handed you. Inside the envelope is a star sapphire bracelet and a short missive: "The next move is yours, my dear. —Nemete"

Thanks for playing all!

"I can't help but think that this is only the beginning of something far more terrible to come. The Chelaxians aren't known for their mercy as we've seen. Fare well for now my friends. I hope that we will meet again soon and I pray that it will be under better circumstances"
Thanks everyone. This was a very intense, but quite a fun game. Thank you GM Tiger for running this one as well!
