The remaining hyenas, fearful for their lives, retreat into the night...

Mwikali comes out basically naked again a thin lavender dress loosely draped over her frame. her spear was in her hand and she unleashes her spell at the wall of glowing eyes.

At the edge of the camp, she summons forth hot blistering rocks of molten rocks and ash. they rain down just behind the eyes letting them have to face the equivalent damage of an actual volcano!Volcanic Storm

Mwikali catches three hyenas in the column of volcanic ash and stones! All three fall under the molten onslaught!

ROUND 1: Double move 100 ft to the campsite...

The six hyenas dash toward the campsite ahead of their masters, yapping and barking maniacally! They reach the edge of the camp, where their eyes glow a Hellish red in the light of the campfire!

HAHAHAHAHA!! HEEHEEHEEHEEHEEE!!

Creeping alongside their flind masters toward the campsite from 100 feet away... Stealth 1d20 + 6 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 10 = 34
Stealth 1d20 + 6 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 6 + 10 = 27
Stealth 1d20 + 6 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 6 + 10 = 28

The six hyenas accompanying the three Bloodlapper flinds are far stealthier than their masters as they creep closer to the expedition campsite...

Clearly intimidated by the superior numbers and puissance of the adventurers, the three remaining hyenas flee the battle, withdrawing carefully to avoid attacks of opportunity...
They run over the hard pan, yelping in fear...

'Blasted, beasts, this should set them running.' Bleeding from the bite in his leg, Wulfgar limps toward the nearest or most wounded hyena, raising his greatsword he slashes at the beast. Burying the tip of his sword in the dirt, he kicks at the mangy beast with his good leg, "Blasted fur-bag"

At this point, the three still standing are looking cowed and ready to flee...

Reloading his crossbow, the farmer attempts to shoot once more, this time at the dazed creature.

"I'll draw this one's attention!"

Volreg definitely gets its attention, sinking a bolt into its back!

Altin, trying not to panic, sings a weird, wordless Traveller's tune, moving a hand back and forth in front of the slavering hyena that looms over him.

Casting daze (Will DC 13) defensively on the hyena.

Altin manages to hold his nerve and release the magic upon the hyena.

Will vs DC 13 daze 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 fails...

The hyena drools stupidly over Altin, a glazed look in its eyes...

Vanna drops her bow and draws and slashes at the closest hyena in one fluid motion. She then readies a defensive strike if attacked.

Vanna’s blade cuts deep into a hyena that already has one of Altin’s arrows sticking in it, and the beast seems to lose the will to fight, squeaking and whimpering...

Reduced to cowering instead of attacking Vanna...

The other hyena on Giovanna now turns to snap at Wulfgar... Bite 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 sinks into the Northman’s leg, dealing 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 piercing damage, and it yanks, trying to trip him... CMB 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15...but the Northman stays upright!

Another hyena snaps at Sulayman... Bite 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 sinks into Sulayman’s leg, dealing 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 piercing damage, and attempts to pull him prone...CMB to trip 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 fails to bring him down...

The third remaining hyena dashes toward Altin and bites 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19, dealing the archer 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 piercing damage, and yanks...CMB 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23...pulling Altin off his feet to land supine on the hard pan desert ground!

Yikes! This round could be called “Revenge of the Hyenas!”...

Having some difficulty shooting past his allies, Altin wheels around past Mwikali(?) on the outer edge of the back row in order to get a clean line of sight on the hynena at the end of the row.

Moving in a straight line through Mwikali's space, continuing on for two more squares, then firing at the closest hyena.

Altin sends an arrow flying into the breast of the hyena Wulfgar and Giovanna are now flanking! It yelps a death cry and collapses, twitching in the bloody sand!

So with Sulaymans attack we should be at the top of the order, yes? So anyone going before the gnolls/hyenas can go?

'Need t get these things off of us.' Seeing the hyena he attacked dead, Wulfgar turns and slashes at the nearest one that attacked Giovanna, Two on one, that's not quite fair is it?"

not sure which figure is Wulfgar or which hyena is dead, so I'm hoping he can move or 5 ft step and attack another hyena, preferably one of the ones attacking Giovanna.

Wulfgar is the mini with an oversized greatsword closest to the hillside, with an overturned hyena mini in front of him... He can easily move to the rear of a hyena attacking Giovanna and get a flank bonus, so that would make his 12 attack roll a 14, which hits!

Dashing to the rear of the nearest hyena snapping at Giovanna, Wulfgar chops into the mangy beast’s rump with his massive blade! It yelps in pain...

Sulayman slashes at the hyena closest to him.

A pack of four mangy hyenas darts out of the black cave mouth, a fifth coming from deeper in to where the first four initially lounged in the opening...

HAHAHA! HAHAHA!

4 hyenas move out of the cave mouth and trigger the party's collective readied actions, in initiative order, then attack...

#1 Bite at Giovanna 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 misses!

#2 Bite at Giovanna 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 also misses!

#3 Bite at Sulayman 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14, who dodges!

#4 Bite at Wulfgar 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9, who dodges!

#5 Dash from out of the deeper darkness to the cave entrance!
