Think with a party chock full of self absorbed, egotistical CHA 22 Drow that one of them would jump at the chance to play boss. If Hurkkagg wasn't a bugbear... or a slave... or as charismatic as a shagpile carpet - I'd be leader lol.
Am thinking of a bastardised version of Afrikaans for Goblin. Will be channeling Sharlto Copley's Kruger for Hurkkagg ;)

Hurkkagg looms at the back of the company of drow, but keeps close enough to provide an overwatch for his Mistress, lest she sense him lax and punish accordingly. The brutes eyes flit to peer to the ceiling friezes taking in the races conquered by the dokk olv. His eyes narrow accordingly; Hrrr. No bugge beran... Hurkkagg exposes a thick tooth in a semi-smile to himself, before focussing on the Lady Satha's speech. At the news they would be enslaving the accursed deep-gnomiz, the big goblinoids ears twitch in excitement and he smiles again...
Sounds like your doing a darn good job Kolaiah - you've listed all the key Oracles he needs to follow lol. So is a Level 5 Human now or multi classing ;) Closest I am to a dad is my 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier - will need to get him statted up too :)

The brute then grumbles an answer to the weapon clad Tazennin; "Took bow from big orkk. Took its tongue too." Hurkkagg's claws fidget momentarily with burgee of dried tongues that hang round his neck.
Just back in Bonnie Scotia - with my skull and women intact lol. Those Northmen have never dealt with a Pict like me lol. Pretty shattered so will catch up on games and post later tonight...
Likewise should any of you wish to join Hurkkagg's "open your throats and watch you bleed out" club - he and his mistress would readily accommodate (and take wagers on who gurgles last ;)

Hurkkagg is ready. Background and appearance have been tempered and improved. As a side note I love language and words (drayen will confirm this!) - as such I'll be peppering my brute's simple conversation and thoughts with terms and words from the Goblin language. Already dropped a few into backgrounds and some recruitment rp: Dokk-Olv - dark elf

Hello, all! I am looking forward to this playing with all of you. When my Mistress says "playing with all of you" - she means like umbral cat and the cave mouse :) @Tazennin: He does indeed, the CLB was less Hurkkagg's calling card as him taking advantage of his massive STR (tis a +5 STR bow) - he'll take quiet satisfaction that no-one else can pull the damn thing (but never make that obvious of course - lest the branding irons come out from Akor'maybyrn!). The duality of scout/assassin will be very interesting - Hurkkagg is perhaps more a tracker and murderer tho lol, with a side order of brute bodyguard to his Mistress. Plan to take 2 Weapon Fighting to best use his Weighted Spear, and poisons of course heheh. @Kolaiah: No chance of Hell's Prince claiming Hurkkagg's misbegotten soul... already sits with another fell idol.
Looking forward to the game folks - great mix of characters. Akor'maybryn, Faeryl and Kolaiah all have 22 CHA... some serious egos going to be kicking about! (as befits the game :)

Hurkkagg eyes the small woman before him. He says nothing but his blue tinged nose wrinkles and snorts lightly as he takes in her scent. Not born of the deep this one. Not dokk-olv, but dokk-olv blooded... The giant goblinoid leans forward so his slave brand on his ear is visible. He then answers in a raspy low voice: "Hurkkagg no out of place. In his place."
Hurkkagg remains in the shadows watching the assembled dark elves' verbal sparring with bored indifference. Talk. Talk. Talk. Dokk-olv love talk. Make Hurkkagg's ears hurt. The bugbear brute fights the urge to emit a frustrated snarl as he looks to his Mistress for a sign; No screams. No pain. No fear. No like.
Tis indeed - one of the most creative and interesting group of applications I've seen in a long time - kudos to all.
Hurkkagg stoically lurks in the shadows. The hairy brute keeps sentinel on his mistress, whilst rightfully wary of the fickle belligerence of the assembled drow females. When the male speaks out, the scarred bugbear's eyes narrow; Even stupid Hurkkagg know not to speak out. Think it sometimes. Say it never.
Rejigged some of Hurkkagg's weapon choices and combat trait to better reflect his status as protector-vassel of Drayen's Akor'maybryn
Inspiration for my character in a nutshell: Drow, Bugbears & Erol Otus. Oh My! Heheh. Love it. Fundamentals of Hurkkagg's background and appearance now in profile GM Overseer - will temper further as my collaboration with Drayen bears more strange fruit :)
Drayen has also shown interest ;)
Hurkkagg's crunch completed... will be working on the fluff this evening and pooling diabolic notions with Drayen for a joint background.
Drayen and I are old collaborators/sparring partners on these here boards, so we'll be putting our heads together for a plausible connection :)

Have PM'd GM Overseer on some racial build questions, have changed him to a Slayer (poss Stygian Slayer archetype) - see him as the slave turned slave hunter/overseer... much maligned from all, but valued as a brute instrument of terror...
