![]() hardehardehar :P The arcanist's perception shifts and he is suddenly looking through the campfire of a traveller several miles down the road. He then shifts to a peasant's hearth, a witch's cauldon fire, a blacksmith's forge .. Any chance he's going to see anything good? Or should I build that part myself? ![]()
![]() Aananda wrote: Or perhaps he thought I would go to one of the villages in the jungle that were much closer to the Temple." She shrugged. The mysterious man's pointed ears perk up at this "If you don't mind me asking, Lady ...?" Assuming introductions are made "Lady Aananda, what temple are you from? I come from the Great Temple of the Elements in Chac Mool, within the Southern Jungle of Klesh." ![]()

![]() Huitzilopochtli pauses at the tavern's entrance. He has traveled far, collecting information, and he can see that many things have changed in Agartha since the last time the Mystics of Chac Mool have sent forth a scout. He spies a likely group of strangers eating at a table and approaches. The folks at the table see a tall thin man with slightly pointed ears and elaborate facial tattoos walk in. He wears crimson robes and carries a gnarled staff with a large reddish crystal embedded at its peak. He is carrying a backpack and has the look of someone who has been on the road a while. "Excuse me, do you have room at your table for a weary traveler?" ![]()
![]() The thick jungle hid the ancient city of Chac Mool. The pale stones had been quarried by hands other than human, long long ago in the days of the Elder Races. The Children of the Quetzal had discovered the ruined city when they fled the bloody Aztecs centuries ago. They had been changed over time in this subterranian realm, growing thinner, paler and more fey as time went on. The Children of the Quetzal were now known as fearsome spellcasters, harnessing the strange energies available in Argartha. Reclusive, they have spent centuries in contemplation, but with the many new forces coming to the realm, the elders have sent an Elemental Mage of the Second Rank out into Agartha to explore and report. Huitzilopochtli is his name, after the war god that the Quetzal once revered before the Aztecs stole him for their own bloody purposes. He has mastered the element of Fire, for which he wears a crimson robe. His face is tattooed in arcane symbols which grant him sight beyond sight and ward him from danger. He strides alone, but for his staff of Firecalling, secure in his arcane power. |
