![]() Couple Minor questions. The footnote on Table 11.1 says that I can pay Prestige Award and get a free item once per scenario. Does this mean that I have to spend the points During the Scenario while the DM is present, or may I do it at home so long as I record -2 PA, and add 1 item on my chronicle sheet? Second, if I spend these points to acquire a Cracked Ioun Stone do I need to roll a percentile to see if it is resonant, or could my faction be sure to pass me a resonant stone? Additionally (last one), I just got a Chronicle with up to 10, +1 fey bane Arrows(166 GP each) but my Gnome wields a crossbow. Since individual bolts are only 5 CP more expensive than arrows could I buy +1 fey bane bolts instead? ![]()
![]() I've only recently created my first PFS Character, only played one scenario, and will be GMing the same scenario for a home game in the near future, so this particular topic will probably not affect me for a long time. However, I'd like to weigh in my humble oppinion as this discussion is evolving. I think that at least a different character, and probably a different faction (which would probably happen naturally), would have to be a neccesity for a player to replay for full-credit.
I personally intend to GM scenarios that I've been able to play myself at an event or other group play. Not only do I get full credit, but also both player and GM perspectives. I realize not everyone is in a situation where they can do this though so I only mention it for completeness sake. ![]()
![]() LOLOLOL Yoda, I think I love you man. I'm sorry your guys, or other people you know, are cheating various scenarios AZ, but it'd be better to discuss viable consequences that can and should be levied against those players with Josh. Movie plot spoiler: Rosebud is a sled, and Bruce Willace is a Ghost. ![]()
![]() Ok, I think I'm getting to understand this. Untill I get 4 PA I am limited to A) what's in the Core Rules chapter 6; B) +1 items; C) Potions, scrolls, and oils of 0 and 1st level spells; and D) the Wayfinder as per the Always Available Items subheading in Chapter 10. Just to clarify, this means that if by some miracle I get 2400 GP I could buy a +1 longsword regardless of my current PA total? Then, when I get 4 PA any item that is legal for play and under 500 GP becomes available. Right? ![]()
![]() Ok, here's one more question for your busy day. On Pg.24 of the Guide to Organized play, Table 11.2 lists the maximum item cost with a total PA of 4 to 67, but no-where in the document can I find the maximum item cost with a PA total less then 4. As I've only completed one scenario my PA total is 2, and some of the group had 3. Are we still allowed to purchase items that cost up to 500 GP, or is there a lower limit? Ok, only one more I promise. :) When GM's use a pregenerated character to fill in a table with 3 players, is he allowed to make adjustments to the pre-gen in terms of equipment, skills, feats, and/or ability scores, or does he have to use the pre-gen exactly as shown in the PDF? ![]()

![]() Hey, this is going out to Paizo, or Goodman, or whoever else may know what's going on. I recently purchesed this set, but when I tried to unzip or open the folder it seems to have no PDF of any other information in the folder. I have unblocked the files through properties, tried changing the folder to show hidden files, and downloaded a new unZIP program all to no avail. If there's something I've forgotten to try I'm open to suggestions as I'd really like to have this product. |
