Noticing the crestfallen look from Kreighton Shaine as Haku hands over a blank parchment, the islander begins chanting his notes in detail as detailed as any written notes could provide.
At the conclusion, Haku has a conversation with the Master of Scrolls, discussing the importance of written notes and differences in cultures. Finally resulting in an agreement for Haku to hire a scribe to jot his notes down for him. ^_^

That would be going under the assumption that he did not have Combat Reflexes. Is it visible that he is distracted enough to get closer? If so, Haku would attempt to move up and trip the monster!

Haku laughs again, as he watches the skeletons crumble to the ground, his song lingering in everyone's head.

Faerin's humming causes Haku to break out in a bellowing laugh, "No, no, my stout friend. It is done like this..."
The islander begins singing a battle song from his homeland and soon, his friends find themselves gently bouncing in rhythm!

"Faerin, let the quiet ones go first and we will follow up," Haku emerges from the pool. Aroden, the merchant... Aroden the fisherman... What else is there?
The islander looks at their new Low Azlanti friend, "We will try to find your fellows, or at least help to clear out the dangers for your future visits."

Haku laughs aloud, "My friends, it is like a hukilau! In the hukilau often the women splash through the water, herding the fish into the waiting spearmen."
The islander moves to the opposite side of the stalagmite, gesturing his friends to take up positions around the edge of the pool. "We must be patient," Haku lays upon his belly, bringing his face to the surface of the water, "Let the fish become accustomed to your presence..."

Committing the story to memory, Haku repeats the story quietly in his native tongue. Then upon hearing about the possible loss of rituals and traditions, the islander supports his friend's request, "Yes, tell us, so that when your people wish to worship, there is more than some inscription on a wall..."

Haku begins looking around to see if the area is right to use a piton to secure the rope. Once he finds a suitable area, the islander knots the rope around the piton. Then he tamps the piton in, handing the other end of the rope to the one that looks like he's going to jump first.
"There we go. The hammering may have drawn the attention of our gilled friends."

"Kia ora, fellows!" Haku is a tall man, built well, wearing little. His leather armor looks like it is made of some kind of aquatic animal, studded with iridescent shell, and leaves quite a bit of flesh uncovered. His sun-kissed skin is a sharp contrast to the largely Chelaxian and Tandoran population of Absalom.
"Janira," the Arcadian islander crouches to be eye-level with the halfling, "What have you found out about these caves so far?"
Any legends of these caves? Knowledge (blank)? :)

Lvl 1s and 2s may play through the Confirmation. Is Sark 2nd lvl yet? If so, he will be the only lvl 2 of yours that will be able to play through. After that, only lvl 1s of yours may play through.
