Hey guys, I'm continuing to struggle with the move to 2e. I have only played it once, and only at level 1, and I am also struggling to make the character I want. I don't know if it's that, or a combination of jumping into this campaign half-way through, but I'm just not feeling it. I think I need to withdraw from the campaign. Okay, so even if I were proficient with the warhammer from Torag, I'd never be good with it? The Cloistered Cleric was definitely an attempt to turn into a full armored caster. But maybe that's not the best. How many melee vs. ranged do we have now?

Okay, I’ve been playing around with some builds for Grimnir. So far, I’m leaning toward one of the following: Cloistered Cleric/Champion Dedication
I’ll probably spec out all three and see which works best, but he will probably remain heavily armored dwarf. Any input on the above?

Okay--I'm still trying to figure out my character. Because I have not really done much 2e (let alone a lvl 7), I will need a little more time. If I can make Grimnir work as something I enjoy, I'll stick with paladin (though also considering druid). If not, I will probably reroll. I liked some of the ideas. Anyway, I'll try to work on it this weekend. Feel free to carry on, though.

Yeah, I'm still here. Honestly, I've only played 2e once, so building a character is feeling a little overwhelming. Plus, I really love the idea of a Stonelord dwarf paladin, but not so much a vanilla dwarf paladin. So we have a Fighter, Wizard, Sorcerer, and Bard?

I don't know why I'm having such a hard time converting Grimnir to 2e. I think I've got an idea of what a dwarven paladin would look like, which is a Stonelord, and all the 2e stuff seems super generic so far. I'm sure more options will be forthcoming, but I'm not sure what to do with Grimnir at this point. :/ It probably doesn't help that I've only played 2e once, as well.

It is an earth elemental. That's why I was asking in my last post if, by chance, the building was stone and it could be inside the walls climbing up where we're flying. OR, if there was an additional levitate spell for it.
