No new level for me yet, but this opens up Greydrake just in time for tonight's Special. Not sure if I'll play him or not, but thinking about it. I'm sure he'll be back for more PbP too. I don't want to clutter Gameplay with Faction Journal Card "stuff", but want to see if Nigel is a possible candidate for one of two faction goals for Greydrake. I'll give you his angle and rolls for each here. Season 6 Goal
or Season 7 Goal

AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7 Greydrake watches the gorilla approach, looking for a sign of weakness or a place to slip in a blade. When it attacks he thinks he sees an opening under its arm and tries to stab into an artery.

"Do you all hear the same sound I do coming from back there? Sounds like we'd better hurry up and check it out. Let's leave the last door with the batheads and see if that is the source of the mist."

AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7 I think there is a particularly rich heritage of RPG gaming in the Midwest. I find a lot of my PbP games have at least one or two folks from the Midwest. We have a pretty strong PFS contingent here in the Chicago area too. As for Gen Con...
But the con also offers a really rich and diverse set of games if you want to play a bunch of different games or if you want to check some new things out in the gaming hall.

AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7 Greydrake studies the ape-man. His wounds from the kukri slash and Kardiv's arrow seem to have already slowed his reactions. He reaches out to try cutting the man with his kukri again, then steps away to make the snake and man follow him.

AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7 Greydrake throws the last spear, but is in too much of a hurry to pick up his dropped kukri and the spear sails over the final monster. Cursing impatience, he picks up the kukri and gets ready to help Kardiv.

AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7 This time Greydrake sees it coming and again throws his arm and hand over his ears, resisting the screech. He whirls to the rack of ancient spears, grabs one, and throws it at the green bat mask.

He slides to his right and moves to meet the green one, thinking he has spied a crack in its wood that he could pry apart with a kukri.

AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7 With one ape-scribe down, Greydrake slides back to position the other between himself and where he hopes Kardiv will soon be. Looking for a weak spot on he spies an area where the ape hair has not grown as thick and tries to sink his kukri in the creature's flesh. Unfortunately, what he thought might be a weak spot seems to have a particularly thick bit of tough skin and the kukri fails to penetrate, nearly dropping from Greydrake's hand.

I thought about saying something when you provided the Jump, Hide and Move Silently bonuses to Kardiv :) There is a note about it on the Product Page. I think they also mentioned it when they first released that version. Probably in a blog entry or something. Wish they would do the same for some of the other Season 0 classics.

You sure you're running the Pathfinder version instead of the 3.5 version? 6 hp for a skeleton sounds like 3.5. This is the one Season 0 scenario they updated and it is required to run the Pathfinder version. Upon Kutukan's warning to wait for a moment, Greydrake delays, then slashes at the zombie legionnaire once more yelling "If you're done, get back Kutukan. As soon as Kardiv is done with that other creature, I could use his sword over here." The slayer takes a step around hoping to get some help if Kardiv finishes his foe first. Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Damage 1: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Attack 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 Damage 2: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

You sure that Kellid Warchief is still up? 4 hp damage (9 hp crit - 5 for the DR) is usually enough for a standard skelly. Only asking because this fight is a rough one for Level 1s and 2s and throwing an advanced skeleton would just be mean! Bad enough they armed him with a freaking greatclub instead of the good ol' broken scimitar! Greydrake continues to slice into the two undead facing him, shifting his attack to the other as soon as the first goes down. Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 Damage 1: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 Confirm Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 Extra Damage 1 if Confirmed: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Attack 2: 1d20 ⇒ 13 Damage 2: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

AC 16/13/13, HP 18/18, F+4 R+6 W+0, Init +5, Per +7 Actually Januzaj can also use a wand of CLW. CLW is on the alchemist list. I'll go ahead and purchase a potion of CLW for the unlikely case that both Kutukan and Januzaj go down. I do generally encourage anyone that has 2PP to spend them on a wand of CLW. I think everyone except Sago has enough prestige. Up to you on slumber. I'm not a player who feels like it robs the fun. Its part of the game and sometimes very effective and sometimes not.
