Miikae:
You go to the Embassy with Samuel. Goulfvrim meets him at the door. Master Reidford I wasn't expecting you. Please come in. Samuel stars at Goulfvrim like a hawk staring at a mouse. I am coming in all right. Men take Goulfrvrim and all his men in custody if they resist kill them. Goulfrvrim says Theirs no need... NEED, I'll tell you what I NEEED. I Need for you to keep quiet while me and my men inspect this place. I have had all I can stand from you and yours. Miikae come with me He says to you as he enters the tower. The tower is oddly empty. Any locked doors are quickly broken down by angry dwarves. You make it down to the dungeon and Samuel gasps. Slief is here, though barley. He has been tortured so heavily one of his eyes is missing.By Torag what have they done to you Lad? Samuel asks. I...I did it for Hana. I loved her. They would have killed her if I didn't bring him her seal. Please forgive me. Slief is barley able to speak and when he does he wheezes with the sound of cracked lungs. Samuel is so upset he orders his men to grab Goulfvrim. He chains him up in the dungeon and shots him In his lower legs and pistol whips him until he Is unconscious. I think its time this Grachius learns who runs Alkenstar. Can you do anything for Slief Miikae? Samuel asks with a tear in his eye.

Muziel and Pervince, and Maybe Kera:
If Kera chooses to follow Miikae read her spoiler. make their way to Martel. On horse/dog back it is a good day's ride. After a few hours riding you see up ahead a fairly large group of dwarves and humans that look to be natives around these parts. They are trotting slowly on the road and at your pace you will pass them soon.

Karrick:
Goulfrvrim is now walking away further down an alley with several(8) sheriffs and guards from the Nidal Embassy. Very nice of your masters to offer his men in aid of the city's protection. One of the sheriffs mentions to Goulfrvrim. Goulfvrim responds We take security serious, the fact that an assassin got past me is shameful. I seek vengeance and I shall have it. He does not seem to notice you, and the guards seem sincere in their remarks.

Those watching see Karrick vanish into the night and round a corner.

Zadok:
Knocked it out of the park eh You can tell right away the problem with this document. It was written in magic, strong and binding magic, but here in the Mana Wastes it has gotten obscured. This is some kind of will, and official religious decree by the Overseer of the Tower of Slant and Shadows Knowledge History It names several people that are not immediately known to you Knowledge Nobility. The obvious names you do see missing, is Lord Grachius Ureste and Sir Venrich. This position in Alkentstar seems to hold a larger purpose to those in Nidal beyond a mere diplomat. There is mention of a Successor to the Spellscar Seeker, and Diplomat to Alkenstar. The name is Szinroc Sul Knowledge Arcana.

Miikae:
you look out the window just in time to see the recently familiar face of Goulfvrim Knile peeking from a corner across the street. He notices someone looking and returns to his hidden position.

Of course Master Muziel, though our medicus are taxed due to the recent combat, and this place does not allow for magic, as I am sure you know. Come Sir Venrich, we have a place for you in the tower already prepared He adds a knowing nod to Muziel as he takes Venrich into custody.

Oh Goulfvrim that is your name. This is Venrix my brother, he is very hungry.I TOLD HIM YOU WERE HUNGRY SHHH! Venrich accepts Goulfvrim's assistnace.

You are escourted to your rooms in the tower. They are very nice accomidations, even if they are decorated in a macabre style of Nidal.
Those who need medical care will recieve it, though limited, throughout the night and recieve 3 hit points back.

Muziel leads the way to the embassy of Nidal. You see it up ahead about a block away. It is still busy with sherrifs and deputies, even a few bounty hunter types

Knowledge Local DC 15 or members of Greystone Guild:
One bounty hunter you see you recognize as Gazerich Greystone, a middle aged dwarf that is good with any firearm, but favors a large axe musket.Known for his ability to bring in his man alive, even if only just.
Kera and Zadok are relieved as the minor healing only gave them the strength to make it this far.

Stop, you can not advance any further this is The Embassy of Nidal. If you insist on intruding I have the right to order you killed on sight by order Alkenstar law 547-D and Absolam Treaty of the Nex/Geb/Alkenstar agreement... The Half-orc says half-heartedly as if he has been receiting it more than he would like, then his gaze moves to Muziel and Venrich..Oh, my lords I, I didn't know you had survived. Who is this you travel with? OH what has happened to Sir Venrich? His tone immediatly changes as he recognizes members of the late Lord Vyktor's personal envoy.

Muziel and anyone with Knowledge Nobility DC 10 or Knowledge Local DC 15:
Goulfvrim Knile is captain of the Guard for the Nidal Embassy, and is notoriously competant in his job.

YES I DO KNOW HIM IM TRYING TO REMEMBER WHO HE IS FIRST THAN I WILL INTRODUCE YOU STOP WHINNING EVERY ONE CAN HEAR YOU IM SURE Venrich has another louder than required conversation with his mutant attachment.

Kimiko 24 -Ready with crossbow
Tribal Elves- 18
Ander 8- prone w/crossbow
Meria 9 stands w/whip

There is some light from the moon, and a small fire that has burned down to coals at this point. If you are a human you can make out Goulfvrim fighting a humanoid in camp. Low light you can tell its an elf and see some figures just outside of camp.

1d6 ⇒ 3

You are sound asleep when you are all awakened by the sound of Too Arms! Those of you with dark vision can see that there are tribal elves fighting Goulfvrim and shooting arrows into the camp.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Goulfvrim
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 Tribal Elves
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Gyasi

initative so far

Tribal Elves 18 ( 6 total, one in melee with Goulfvrim)
Gyasi 8
Goulfvrim 7 (in melee with an elf)

We will be getting a ship, but not at Diobel. We will head north through the Kortos Mountains. I know an old underground passage that will take us to a small port that will ferry us over to Escadar. There we will secure passage to Almas, in Andoran. He stops and looks at Brakkart Galt is dangerous, but so is everywhere else. With the Inevitables and Proteans looking to get a hold of you, I doubt anywhere is really safe.

Ander:
Galt has a history of rebellion.Other more stable nations sometimes fuel the fire and will support one faction or another and battle other nations at Galt's expense. Cheliax and Andoran are such Nations, as well as Taldor. The Wardens are more concerned when these factions are aided by extraplanar influence. Cheliax flaunts its connection to Diobolic masters, so it is constantly on the Wardens list of concerns.

I have some suspicions, but I will know for sure once we meet up with the Rift Warden cell in Galt. In short your family has some history with a creature called The Avatar of Monad, for some reason the inevitables are interested in this.

He continues to answer your questions as you continue to travel on foot.

The order was formed by the Inevitables. They have been working towards the good of the people in the past, but I found out what they were really after. It was an inevitable that saved me from a dungeon in Nidal. I owed them I thought, but I could not let them use my students.

He makes his way under the bridge and opens a secret door. There is a device I have in here that we will carry with us. It will obscure us from divinations while on the road. Push that wagon down river once you have everything you need.

All I can say for now is that you have great potential. I need to get you to some friends who know more about this.

They are a race called the Inevitable. They are a militant force of the Axiomites. They want to use you and your he(he stops himself from saying something)... your abilities against another extraplanar race called the Proteans. He stops and considers Ander's suggestion.

I think we shall just push it down river. With some luck it will float ashore and throw them off track.

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 Reflex save for Creature

Seems the general consensus is to go with Gyasi

Gyasi helps you all get in the wagon and starts to drive the wagon. If one of you would rather drive go ahead.

The creature misses Goulfvrim, and he uses the creatures momentum and the grease provided by meria to trip the creature. He then runs to the wagon and jumps on the back holding on.

We need to get out of Absolam. There will be more soon. He says still out of breath from the combat.

You must remain here. The creature says plainly and without remorse.

Initative so far

Gyasi-22
Creature-16
Goulfvrim-13
Brakkart-12
Kimiko-10
Ander-6

Gyasi pulls out a scroll and starts to read it.

spellcraft DC17:
He is casting dimissal

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

The spell seems to have no effect and Gyasi becomes a bit pale.

The Creature says to Goulfvrim Go back inside

Karcana DC 17:
he used a spell-like ability of Suggestion
As he closes the distance and gets into melee simultaniously drawing his large sword from his back. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Goulfrvrim remains unshaken by his words.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 To hit Goulfvrim
1d10 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 Damage to Goulfvrim

Goulfvrim staggers from the heavy blow and attacks back
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
But misses
Hurry leave, I will hold him off! They have lied to you and only want to use you! Gyasi keep them safe! The half-orc growls as if giving you a command.

Goulfvrim and Anders meet up with Gyasi and the others in front of the compound where a wagon is waiting. Hurry Get In! Goulfvrim says as he opens the back of the wagon.

A strange looking human comes out of an adjacent building and begins to shed his disguise. He appears as a golem or automaton of some sort of human size.

Truespeech:
You can not leave with them Goulfvrim. I will let you and Gyasi go for old times sake, but the chosen remain here or you will forfeit your lives. The creature says. I know what you are planing, all this time pretending to be a force of good. You are selfish beings and I will stop you! Goulfvrim says

As Goulfvrim and the Creature are speaking in truespeech the conversation is obviously heated and he is drawing his sword.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Goulfvrim's initative
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Gyasi's initative
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

KPlanes DC 27:
Young Inevitable, Kolyarut
Strange Humanoid's initative

Roll Initative and post actions, or delay if wish. The Strange Humanoid is 30' from the party. He has a large sword on his back.

Ander:
Goulfvrim spins around surprised as you enter. Damm, I didnt want you to see this. We must go. They are watching. On the ground is an automaton looking creature.1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 You recognize it as an Inevitable, but not sure which type or much else about it. Hurry follow me, there is a secret exit that leads to the common room. From there we can a wagon I have waiting. he says as he revels a hidden door behind a large mirror in the room.

Kimiko:
He seems very sincere.

Look just come with me outside. Goulfvrim has a wagon waiting for us. You can ask him all of your questions. Gyasi says.

The celestial pony is gone now.

If you want to do something befor you sleep you may, I just want to keep the pace so I will post your dreams and next morning

Kimiko:
You are in a vast magical city. It is simular to Absolam, but there are even more constructs and extra-planar beings it seems. The buildings look simular to Osirion design. You turn your head and realize you are on top of a very large temple. At least a hundred monks are on the lower steps practicing basic manuvers. Commander Varos, Lord Nex requires you to meet him in the south. An old human says to you through a message spell. Commander Varos... The voice trails off and you wake up in a sweat as if you had been training intensly.

Ander:
You are somewhere in the north, Irrisen maybe. It is very cold. You see a large Ice Troll coming around a mountain pass. It sees you and charges. You masterfully cast a hold spell on the beast so you can extract it's still beating heart then burn it to ash with a burning hands spell. You hear the crackle of magic behind you. Quickly you spin around and see an old human. Ah, collecting specimens. I thought you'd have passed such mundane work to your underlings. I need you in Nex. Geb is on the move. I have called the rest of your old mates on this also. Do not delay to long here old friend. The man uses some device and is no more. Old friend... the words stick in your mind. You wake up and feel very intensly cold.

Brakkart:
You are in the center of a circle in a blackened room. There is a fire next to you in the center, and outside the circle are men in robes with a sword in their hand. Today you surpass me as master of the BlackBlades of Nex, that is if you can take it. A voice from the darkness says just befor the flash of lightning brightens the room coming straight at you.You cast a force shield spell almost instantly that absorbs most of the blow, but it still knocks you on the ground. A dark elf male leaps over the fire making a forcefull downward attack with his blade. You cast a hydraulic push spell that knocks him into the fire in the center of the room. The dark elf quickly rolls to a stand and begins chanting. You dispell his casting from a crotched position and leap into him. You roll with him until you are on top and cut off his sword hand as he raises it to attack. Stop! It is decided. Sir Allumbris has won the duel by disarming. He shall wield the First Blade now! a voice from the circle says. An old tiefling brings you the blade with the hand still griping the hilt. As he hands it to you he whispers in your ear. Lord Nex needs you in the South, something about Geb. You wake up exhausted. Ah, memories your blade says in your mind telepathicly.

Meria:
I do not think you want to keep me here, this place isnt safe enough. You say in a male voice that is oddly familar. You'll be safe enough, unless you'd rather go down below and test out our new tickler we just got in from Nidal. A man says as he appears from around the corner. You realize you are in a cell and he is a jailer of some sort. I ment this isn't safe for you You say just as the wall behind the man explodes and your Eidolon rips the man to shreds. Hope I'm not too late the beast growls. What took you so long, this dingy place has stained my good suit. Hurry lets get what we came for and leave. I just got news we have to go south to Nex. You explain as you gather your things from a table. Why do you work for him, I do not like him The beast grumbles. I do not like him... The words oddly linger. You wake up and your ancient eidolon is fused with you. Dreams are nice, I wish we dreamed more he tells you.

When you all wake from your dream Goulfvrim comes to your rooms. Time to rise and shine. We got more work for the new wardens.Meet me in the common room in an hour. He says as he turns an hour glass on a stand next to the door.

Brakkart almost says something else, then says That is an ancient symbol for Aroden the fallen.

Correct, and though Aroden may have fallen, they are still a God. Many people in the forgotten corners of the world still belive in them. Cultists like these can be the most dangerous, for in their desperations may turn to false Gods and abominatons of the outter planes, even with the purest of intent. We wardens have kept a close eye on such activities and have chronicled them in this ledger. I give you a copy that it may serve you.

Goulfvrim hands Brakkart a tome of cults in Golarion. +2 circumstance to Knowledge Religion/Planes/Arcana when dealing with cultists things related to them

So be it, ready or not I have nothing more to teach you. Gather your things and meet master Gyasi in the main hall tommorow morning.

Everyone recieves 1 hero point. Rules for them are in the APG

Those who failed the test recieve 1 extra hero points-Nimble and Kimiko
Failure is a powerful motivator and teacher, one learns more from this than success

Brakkart, as a cleric your friends depends on you for your insight into the world of religion and the divine. I have a simple question for you Goulfvrim holds up a holy symbol If you came upon travelers bearing this mark whom would they represent?

Knowledge Religion DC 16

An inquisitor must have a keen mind, your companions will depend on your ability to identify rare creatures and track down enemies. So to you I pose a riddle

" Ripped from my mother's womb, Beaten and burned, I become a blood-thirsty slayer, What am I? "

Ya I had to make it challenging for Kimiko, I knew you could land an attack, but fient manuver I had a chance. And it does do the storyline justice and your teacher justice if hes not being pushed around the room.

Meria attacks and lands a solid hit, unable to control her ancient friend, a very large Eidolon appears only to Meria and damages Goulvfrim severly. you have 20% chance so 80+ is an awakening. Unless you wanted 20-, but I normaly go with higher is better for percent

I know you can not control your ancient birthright so I will not make a big deal about it. I hope he continues to serve you.

He hands you scroll of lesser Eidolon Rejuvenation.

Goulfvrim casts a cure serious wounds on himself

Ok Nimble, your next step forward.

Sorry I read inish, guess was a cleaver spelling of initative. Meria was the one I intended

You have a special friend inside of you, but there are times when you will need to fight with out them. Attack me and land a solid blow without the aid of your friend and I will grant you a small gift.

Goulfvrim takes a defensive stance.

Goulfvrim takes the shock with a Grimace. Well Done, now stay on your feet He says as he makes a triping manuver(with improved trip so no AoO)

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 CMB which is probably not over your CMD.

Very Good. You pass the test. He hands you a scroll of a lvl 1 spell that you do not yet have in your spell book.

Inish Step Forward He says still wearing a sinister smile.

Kimiko is ready and steps forward. You have done well class, lets see how much you remember. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 is your sense motive 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 is his bluff/fient manuver.

Goulfvrim makes a quick move as if to draw the longsword at his back, but instead rips a very flexable blade from around his waist and strikes you with it.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 to hit(you loose dex)
Assuming that hits your ac - dex, damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Slashing damage from Urumi 1d6 ⇒ 6 sneak attack

You must be ready for anything, beings from the great beyond are vile and cunning he looks disappointed and motions one of his aides to take you away and heal you.

Ander, you seem ready. I tell you what, I will let you go first. Step up and engage me. You can cast a spell, but you are in melee range so must make concentration check to avoid AoO.

Ok recruits, lets get this straight. Until now you have only read and heard about the horrors of the other worlds, well starting today you are going to come face to face with these things and it is my duty to make sure you are ready. The things from the gates won't hold back and neither will I. Ok, which one of you wants to be beaten first?

Roll initative, you Can Not delay this initative.

Oh my a pretty girl, and an even prettier man both with pretty purple eyes I am so scared, what ever sign your death warrant pretty man I'll see you in the ring He walks off. You notice some people in the street and line take notice when he mentions purple eyes.
