Those watching see Karrick vanish into the night and round a corner.
Of course Master Muziel, though our medicus are taxed due to the recent combat, and this place does not allow for magic, as I am sure you know. Come Sir Venrich, we have a place for you in the tower already prepared He adds a knowing nod to Muziel as he takes Venrich into custody.
Oh Goulfvrim that is your name. This is Venrix my brother, he is very hungry.I TOLD HIM YOU WERE HUNGRY SHHH! Venrich accepts Goulfvrim's assistnace.
You are escourted to your rooms in the tower. They are very nice accomidations, even if they are decorated in a macabre style of Nidal.
Those who need medical care will recieve it, though limited, throughout the night and recieve 3 hit points back.

Muziel leads the way to the embassy of Nidal. You see it up ahead about a block away. It is still busy with sherrifs and deputies, even a few bounty hunter types Kera and Zadok are relieved as the minor healing only gave them the strength to make it this far.
Stop, you can not advance any further this is The Embassy of Nidal. If you insist on intruding I have the right to order you killed on sight by order Alkenstar law 547-D and Absolam Treaty of the Nex/Geb/Alkenstar agreement... The Half-orc says half-heartedly as if he has been receiting it more than he would like, then his gaze moves to Muziel and Venrich..Oh, my lords I, I didn't know you had survived. Who is this you travel with? OH what has happened to Sir Venrich? His tone immediatly changes as he recognizes members of the late Lord Vyktor's personal envoy.
YES I DO KNOW HIM IM TRYING TO REMEMBER WHO HE IS FIRST THAN I WILL INTRODUCE YOU STOP WHINNING EVERY ONE CAN HEAR YOU IM SURE Venrich has another louder than required conversation with his mutant attachment.
Kimiko 24 -Ready with crossbow
Tribal Elves- 18
Ander 8- prone w/crossbow
Meria 9 stands w/whip
There is some light from the moon, and a small fire that has burned down to coals at this point. If you are a human you can make out Goulfvrim fighting a humanoid in camp. Low light you can tell its an elf and see some figures just outside of camp.
1d6 ⇒ 3
You are sound asleep when you are all awakened by the sound of Too Arms! Those of you with dark vision can see that there are tribal elves fighting Goulfvrim and shooting arrows into the camp.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Goulfvrim
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 Tribal Elves
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Gyasi
initative so far
Tribal Elves 18 ( 6 total, one in melee with Goulfvrim)
Gyasi 8
Goulfvrim 7 (in melee with an elf)
We will be getting a ship, but not at Diobel. We will head north through the Kortos Mountains. I know an old underground passage that will take us to a small port that will ferry us over to Escadar. There we will secure passage to Almas, in Andoran. He stops and looks at Brakkart Galt is dangerous, but so is everywhere else. With the Inevitables and Proteans looking to get a hold of you, I doubt anywhere is really safe.
I have some suspicions, but I will know for sure once we meet up with the Rift Warden cell in Galt. In short your family has some history with a creature called The Avatar of Monad, for some reason the inevitables are interested in this.
He continues to answer your questions as you continue to travel on foot.
The order was formed by the Inevitables. They have been working towards the good of the people in the past, but I found out what they were really after. It was an inevitable that saved me from a dungeon in Nidal. I owed them I thought, but I could not let them use my students.
He makes his way under the bridge and opens a secret door. There is a device I have in here that we will carry with us. It will obscure us from divinations while on the road. Push that wagon down river once you have everything you need.
All I can say for now is that you have great potential. I need to get you to some friends who know more about this.
They are a race called the Inevitable. They are a militant force of the Axiomites. They want to use you and your he(he stops himself from saying something)... your abilities against another extraplanar race called the Proteans. He stops and considers Ander's suggestion.
I think we shall just push it down river. With some luck it will float ashore and throw them off track.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 Reflex save for Creature
Seems the general consensus is to go with Gyasi
Gyasi helps you all get in the wagon and starts to drive the wagon. If one of you would rather drive go ahead.
The creature misses Goulfvrim, and he uses the creatures momentum and the grease provided by meria to trip the creature. He then runs to the wagon and jumps on the back holding on.
We need to get out of Absolam. There will be more soon. He says still out of breath from the combat.
You must remain here. The creature says plainly and without remorse.
Initative so far
Gyasi-22
Creature-16
Goulfvrim-13
Brakkart-12
Kimiko-10
Ander-6
Gyasi pulls out a scroll and starts to read it.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
The spell seems to have no effect and Gyasi becomes a bit pale.
The Creature says to Goulfvrim Go back inside As he closes the distance and gets into melee simultaniously drawing his large sword from his back. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Goulfrvrim remains unshaken by his words.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 To hit Goulfvrim
1d10 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 Damage to Goulfvrim
Goulfvrim staggers from the heavy blow and attacks back
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
But misses
Hurry leave, I will hold him off! They have lied to you and only want to use you! Gyasi keep them safe! The half-orc growls as if giving you a command.
Goulfvrim and Anders meet up with Gyasi and the others in front of the compound where a wagon is waiting. Hurry Get In! Goulfvrim says as he opens the back of the wagon.
A strange looking human comes out of an adjacent building and begins to shed his disguise. He appears as a golem or automaton of some sort of human size.
As Goulfvrim and the Creature are speaking in truespeech the conversation is obviously heated and he is drawing his sword.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Goulfvrim's initative
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Gyasi's initative
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 Strange Humanoid's initative
Roll Initative and post actions, or delay if wish. The Strange Humanoid is 30' from the party. He has a large sword on his back.
Look just come with me outside. Goulfvrim has a wagon waiting for us. You can ask him all of your questions. Gyasi says.
The celestial pony is gone now.
If you want to do something befor you sleep you may, I just want to keep the pace so I will post your dreams and next morning
When you all wake from your dream Goulfvrim comes to your rooms. Time to rise and shine. We got more work for the new wardens.Meet me in the common room in an hour. He says as he turns an hour glass on a stand next to the door.

Brakkart almost says something else, then says That is an ancient symbol for Aroden the fallen.
Correct, and though Aroden may have fallen, they are still a God. Many people in the forgotten corners of the world still belive in them. Cultists like these can be the most dangerous, for in their desperations may turn to false Gods and abominatons of the outter planes, even with the purest of intent. We wardens have kept a close eye on such activities and have chronicled them in this ledger. I give you a copy that it may serve you.
Goulfvrim hands Brakkart a tome of cults in Golarion. +2 circumstance to Knowledge Religion/Planes/Arcana when dealing with cultists things related to them
So be it, ready or not I have nothing more to teach you. Gather your things and meet master Gyasi in the main hall tommorow morning.
Everyone recieves 1 hero point. Rules for them are in the APG
Those who failed the test recieve 1 extra hero points-Nimble and Kimiko
Failure is a powerful motivator and teacher, one learns more from this than success
Brakkart, as a cleric your friends depends on you for your insight into the world of religion and the divine. I have a simple question for you Goulfvrim holds up a holy symbol If you came upon travelers bearing this mark whom would they represent?
Knowledge Religion DC 16
An inquisitor must have a keen mind, your companions will depend on your ability to identify rare creatures and track down enemies. So to you I pose a riddle
" Ripped from my mother's womb, Beaten and burned, I become a blood-thirsty slayer, What am I? "
Ya I had to make it challenging for Kimiko, I knew you could land an attack, but fient manuver I had a chance. And it does do the storyline justice and your teacher justice if hes not being pushed around the room.
Meria attacks and lands a solid hit, unable to control her ancient friend, a very large Eidolon appears only to Meria and damages Goulvfrim severly. you have 20% chance so 80+ is an awakening. Unless you wanted 20-, but I normaly go with higher is better for percent
I know you can not control your ancient birthright so I will not make a big deal about it. I hope he continues to serve you.
He hands you scroll of lesser Eidolon Rejuvenation.
Goulfvrim casts a cure serious wounds on himself
Ok Nimble, your next step forward.
Sorry I read inish, guess was a cleaver spelling of initative. Meria was the one I intended
You have a special friend inside of you, but there are times when you will need to fight with out them. Attack me and land a solid blow without the aid of your friend and I will grant you a small gift.
Goulfvrim takes a defensive stance.
Goulfvrim takes the shock with a Grimace. Well Done, now stay on your feet He says as he makes a triping manuver(with improved trip so no AoO)
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 CMB which is probably not over your CMD.
Very Good. You pass the test. He hands you a scroll of a lvl 1 spell that you do not yet have in your spell book.
Inish Step Forward He says still wearing a sinister smile.
Kimiko is ready and steps forward. You have done well class, lets see how much you remember. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 is your sense motive 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 is his bluff/fient manuver.
Goulfvrim makes a quick move as if to draw the longsword at his back, but instead rips a very flexable blade from around his waist and strikes you with it.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 to hit(you loose dex)
Assuming that hits your ac - dex, damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Slashing damage from Urumi 1d6 ⇒ 6 sneak attack
You must be ready for anything, beings from the great beyond are vile and cunning he looks disappointed and motions one of his aides to take you away and heal you.
Ander, you seem ready. I tell you what, I will let you go first. Step up and engage me. You can cast a spell, but you are in melee range so must make concentration check to avoid AoO.
Ok recruits, lets get this straight. Until now you have only read and heard about the horrors of the other worlds, well starting today you are going to come face to face with these things and it is my duty to make sure you are ready. The things from the gates won't hold back and neither will I. Ok, which one of you wants to be beaten first?
Roll initative, you Can Not delay this initative.
Oh my a pretty girl, and an even prettier man both with pretty purple eyes I am so scared, what ever sign your death warrant pretty man I'll see you in the ring He walks off. You notice some people in the street and line take notice when he mentions purple eyes.
