Hi. Can you also move me to inactive?
I hope your guys enjoy.

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Ya... Me and Allera just did some interaction with the NPC crowd and we haven't gotten any response from you... That and I'm not really sure where I'm supposed to go next.
We are hiding in a building, the dragons are doing epic battle outside and what do we do next? Crowd control?

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Gortech laughs derisively at the lady as she tries to direct the people.
Ha! You trying to start a mob there las? Dis is how you direct a crowd!
Yelling: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9
OI FOLKS, LISTEN UP! SIT. DOWN!

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

I am in the building so no perception check from me:)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Gortech chuckles to himself as one of the humans attempts to rouse the crowd to fight against a dragon, something that they had no chance against.
While this is going on, Gortech is scanning the cityscape, he had seen one ballista fire off against the dragon and then get incinerated and he was looking for another that might be close by.
perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
But he seemed far too focused on the crowd pressing around him to get any real idea of his bearings and instead flows with the crowd into one of the buildings (the one with Allera and Waraxus in it)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

So I have gotten back from the youth retreat and had an absolute blast. We did laser tag, paintball, hockey, gocarting, and had a concert or two in the middle of it somewhere :)
However I overestimated my own ability to keep up with 7 kids for 3 days and spent the last day or so recuperating!
So im back and ready to continue, however I am a bit disappointed at how little progress there has been since :(

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Just a quick heads up, I will be gone from friday afternoon to sunday afternoon as I am going to a youth retreat! (as one of the leaders, im not that young!)
As such I probably wont be posting much in that timeframe, if at all :)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

When my turn comes around
Realizing the futility of his crossbow as of current, Gortech decides that a different approach is in order, so he packs away his crossbow and follows the Shouting lady into one of the stone buildings.
Move action holster Crossbow, move action move.
Diplomacy: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10
Alright you lot, hurray it up! Get inside an stay put, the angry lady is right, so IN SIDE!!

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Gortech surveys the surrounding chaos with a look that could almost be described as mirth as his hands swiftly reload his ornate crossbow. No sooner had he done so and he has already raised it up, sighted down the scope and fired off yet another shot.
move action reload, standard action fire, 5ft step following Allera
To Slay!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Pitiful Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 5
As soon as the bolt has left the crossbow, Gortech is already looking for where he has to go next, and decides that following the lady as she ushers the crowd into a building is a good choice and so he starts backpedaling towards her.

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

How are we doing initiative?
Exact order?
Block?
First posted?

I want to know when I have to post :)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Gortech shoots a comment towards Allera What the heck ye be talking about lady? Now snap out of it, we got a dragon on our hands!

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Having aimed down his sights and feeling pretty confident about his next shot, Gortech lets loose a bolt at the deadly dragon as it hovers still for a moment and breathes destruction on everyone below.
FIREEE!!!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
and quickly becomes more and more excited as he traces the bolts path. could this be a hit? Could this be his first dragon slain?
damge?: 1d10 ⇒ 3
(Buuut I dont think it will be that easy :)
Oh its a good day. Quick! Someone get water an get over there. Theres bound to be fire everywhere an longlegs tha need saving!
An god knows I aint the one going over near that fire...
K: Arcana check to ID the dragon: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 :P

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

oops! I thought that the gunslinger got d8 hd for some reason... Will add +2 to that :)
actually, while Im at it, ill go over all the other stats, just make sure that they are correct.

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Ha ha! its as the man says. There be dragons here to hunt!
The dwarf exclaims, he seems quite excited at the dreadful notion and shrugs off the half-orcs attempts to calm him down, instead raising up his crossbow and taking aim.
Its a glorious day today!

If given half a chance ill let loose a pot shot at the dragon, no matter how small my chances to hit are, but Ill let wait for the GM first.

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Gortech yells out at the top of his rather loud lungs I KNEW IT! Gob, you were right, its here!
And with that outburst Gortech unslings his massive crossbow from his shoulders and into his ready arms, no doubt startling a few passerbys (and maybe a farmer?)
Move action to draw my weapon, but I figure thats all he has time to do, for now...

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

What I What See?: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Normally Gortech would have been an advocate for shooting the goblin on sight and dragging the carcass out of the city, but there must have been something in the ale, and Gortech was in a bemused mood.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Guess I'm not figuring out that the goblin stole crops from a farmer, as would be a logical conclusion, either that or the ale was stronger then I thought
Hmmm... That goblin must be the informant I was waiting for. Makes sense. Kinda. Yup, that must be it. What does that farmer want with my informant?
Gortech then follows, calling out to the farmer as he goes
Oi! What you what want with my informant? Hey, WAIT UP!

honestly, I was trying to figure out how to spin my monster hunter to take the side of this monster, and not the farmers side :/
I think that a botched sense Motive check and a bit of ale would do the trick :)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

I can usually do twice a day, this weekend was a little more busy then normal :/
I also got into a runescape kick that slowed me down some :)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Gortech sits at his table in the bar, aptly named the "Dusty Flagon" as there seemed to be more dust in his mug then alcohol. Still, he had arrived only earlier that day and a drink was one of the first things on his mind. Second was to meet up with his "contact." In reality he was the one who had spread the rumor of a massive black thing flying through the sky. Had to be dragons. Just had to be.
So here he was sitting there and waiting out the hours to pass when he heard a commotion outside. Well. Whatever it is, it beats sitting here. and Im out of ale for the road.
He then calls to the barkeep Oi! Looks like im leavin early, bring me a 6-pack fer the road an the tab. Whadya mean there aint no such thing?? There is now! Now hurry it up!
Gotrech is just a bit grumpy when he throws down 2 and a half gold pieces daylight robbery, thats what it is... takes his drinks and heads on outside to see what all the noise is.
-2.5gp, gain 6 dwarven stout ale :)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

dont worry about it, it makes no difference
as soon as you make another post, it should pop up with both, but again, it makes no difference :)
So who are you thinking of having come in instead of Lililana? Or just do it with those we have?

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

So how and how much do we start out knowing each other?
Randomly meet, summoned, walk into a bar?
Or am I getting a little too ahead of myself :)
Maybe have it where me and Kandoo met on the road while traveling and an unlikely paid formed?
(I'm the traveler, and greedy for gold type. It's easy for me to meet people)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Blam!

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

So let me see if I've got this :)
Gortech is a Dwarf gunslinger, a ranged specialist and a dragon hater.
Lililinda is a gnome sorcerer, with a focus on enchantment and charm. Loves fashion.
Myrgar is a goblin Cleric. Strong at? Loves fire.
Kandoo is a half-orc bloodrager, strong Melee and wanabe-dragon.
Waraxus is a human inquisitor, also strong Melee character and strong morals.

Did I get the jist of them right?
I see some interesting interactions as Gortech hates dragons, fears fire and has a strong sense of greed :)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Then here is my Crossbow loaded Dot :)

Sounds good :)
Ill get a post up later tonight, just got back from a 5 hour hike up in the mountains.
Nothing like hiking through foot deep snow in shorts and summer shoes (I was under-prepared...)
Still, it turned out really good :)

Gortech eyes the tiny Crossbow that the goblin offered up with just a bit of arrogance, however the goblin had defenintly gone up in his books.
He then unfastens the large Crossbow from its shoulder strap and sets it on the table and in front of the goblin with a heavy clunk.
It sure is a thing of beauty, silver inlays running up and down its dark wood stalk, small carvings dipicting ornate details on its prongs, and multiple cranks adorning it, one with a large spool of Rope.
And the whole thing is massive. The whole contraption is easily larger then the goblin.
What's the score? Well the score is no game, no. The score is... Gortech stops himself before looking around hastily, then leaning in. The score is a large dragon. I heard rumors of one flying round these parts and I'm here to investigate them he leans back with a smug look on his face.

Gortech eyes the little goblinoid that had managed to sneak his way into the midst of the group or did he just waltz in? Kind of hard to tell with all these longlegs kicking about
Hmmm. I dunno there little one. There be them good guys over there, He indicates to Tywynn and his posse with an over exaggerated nod, then continues an even a farie over there. Indicating Qalifa, But some of us are just here for the big score! Gortech finishes off with a fierce and greedy look down at his very large crossbow.
Ifn you can help me score that, then sure, sit by me why dontchya.
Well, if it comes down to it, Im sure he could make good dragon bait...

Good luck everyone ^-^

Im still laughing about the potential dialogue between Kandoo and Gortech,
Me: Ill shoot the dragon, then you tell me which ones I cant kill...

So this is Gobo Hordes submission, a dwarf dragon slayer (wannabe).
He came to Absalom following rumors of a dragon in the vicinity but will probably be disappointed to find them false.

Crunch wise he should be done (having 55 gold left to spend) so feel free to audit it for me :)

As for his "favorite tactic" of shooting someone with a bolt trailing rope and then spiking it into the ground, it would probably never happen in game as it would be very rare to pull off.
1st, i would have to load the crossbow with a barbed bolt and attach one of my 3 ropes to it, then I would have to crit with that attack, then succeed at a combat maneuver, then drop my crossbow and draw my hammer and a piton, then stake it into the ground.
So i doubt it would happen, but it could happen, and he can pull it off, so thats what counts ^-^

Just dotting in :)
Still here!
Means im still not going anywhere >.>

Edit: Whoops. The above post is from Gortech :)
Aka Gobo Horde :)

Well since i still have not created any backstory, as long as you keep the rules the same i can write it to whatever i need.
As for specific APs, i either only play homebrew or have no idea im playing a set module, so i cant list a specific ap either.
Having said that, a combat heavy, exploration campaign with bits of intruge thrown in would be neat. Possibly something survival based or horror-ish?
Im pretty easy in that regard :)
(a proud, imperial shield fighter should fit in most anywhere)
btw i really do like your homebrew rules ',)

I just realized that Darkone is going with the "Enlightened Zombie" so i will leave all those fun looking and jucy feats for him :)
Defently thinking shield fighter here, im really liking the vibe, alghough i would really want to do it with a tower shield if possible, tho i guess i could settle for a regular heavy shield :(
He will be two-handing the thing around and bashing peeps all over the head with his manly muscles and buldging biceps ^_^
Just 2 questions.
Why minimum 6 players? Usually its a maximum that they worry about.
What happens if you use an offhanded/secondary attack as your only attack in a round? Do you still take any penalties?

So taking a look through, i got two basic ideas that i want to fllow through on and get advice for.
The first one is a tower shield specialist. I was hoping i would be able to just wield a massive shield in front of me, using it to shield bash/bull rush/overrun/and or attack with it. In core pathfinder you cannot shield bash with a tower shield nor can you attach armor spikes, aka zero offensive ability.
I want to create a guy with a massive shield that he uses to ram through people with.
I am thinking imperial fighter, big, strong and durable as a rock :)
Of things i noticed;
tough as stone and toughness, he will be a hp tank :)
Gifted: Moar feats!
Tough: hes a hp tank :p
Weapon bond: bonded to the tower shield, using con for damage. Be will still be strong, he wi just have a focus on con. Here is where i need help, how can i make the tower shield do damage?
I also noticed the fighter trait, irristable advance that increases your CMB if you are using a shield, including a tower shield (which cannot be used in a bull rusb or overrun. This is what gave me the whole idea). Its lvl 10 but i really like this idea :)

The second idea was a Gholgral and the line of feats that made a blood drinking, flesh eating vampire that sounds really interesting, except, whats a Gholgral?

Hey guys, this is Gortech again :)
Initially I was unable to view any of the homebrew, which really sucked :(
So I had to get to a friends computer to do a "data dump" but now I have the info.
Now I got to read everything....
anyways, now I am actually able to, so I intend on reading a lot, and I still want to be in this!
First idea is that I want to be a fighter, because I like martials a lot, but we will see :)
Btw, you guys can see the un-formatted version here. Btw, its VERY unformatted...

Hey this is Gortech from the other wastelands game checking in :)
60 pages of homebrew! Oh, sweet I got some reading to do...
Looking forward to this!!!

Edit: you have only had the thing up for 12 hours or so, give it a bit of time! I think you will get your 6 players :)

Well this character is not going anywhere (and he just hit 10 posts ^-^) even if he dosent get in a game in this iteration, his idea will not die :)
As for that other game, im all for it! let me dive into that!

I think theres up to 6, and yup these are the aliases (minus background, we were told to keep it secret for RP reasons, can be fixed easily)
And here is Rebnal the Barmaid

Gortech the Giant slayer looking for a glorious death signing in!

Well to be honest, that sucks!
Oh well, i know the feeling all too well, so good luck to those who made it in!
Gortech will have to find his glorious death on some other giants blade!
@the siege gunner. Thats awsome! Makes me wonder what other archetypes are out there that i missed :)

I sleep for 6 hours and the thread esplodes XD
time to catch up....
Btw, whats this siege gunner? It sounds interesting :)

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Hey! Singing and storytelling is part of dwarf tradition just about everywhere! Just because i have average int and cha dosent mean i cant "remember" our ancient songs (actually i just made them up :p)

Baird eh? Leader of a tribe. What would cause a leader o' men to take flight an travel tha world?
Me. I'a used to be a watchmaker.
He pulls out an old pocketwatch. A very old watch. Ya don' see many o' these around anymore. Dont got a clan anymore either.
Anyho, hows a bear fer coumpany? Is e loyal?

Your also in luck, were in a wastland! Not much to burn in a wastland >.> plenty of debre to chuck tho ^_^

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Alright. Heres one for you bear man!
Gortech starts to get another beat going, sounding like a marching tune.

Come listen to this dwarf and his tall tales
of a man who lived on the island of Whales
a lumberjack by the name of Fred Frincent Fick Fails
And upon yon tree, with his axe he doth flails

Hi ho! One two three four
New wood for his front door!
On the fourth swing it does fell
And just in time, theres the dinner bell!

Off he goes with yon log on his shoulder
But on yon road theres a big brown boulder
Alas! Not a boulder but a big brown bear!
"Answer a question there human if you dare!"

Now our poor Fred Frincent Frick Fail
A peculiur shade, he did turn quite pale
"Whats the toll for a lumberjack taking my tree?
What will you give me, that tree is costing you, see?
"

Now poor Fred, he was poor, he didnt have much
Come home with me, Elisa is cooking some lunch
"I agree! Some rabbit stew would be just great
For that tree, that would be your rate
"

Now my moral to to you my good fellow
always have a rabbit in the cellar below
You never know when a hungry bear you might meet
You better have some meat else it is you he will eat!

After his little song, Gortech gets up and taking his drink, he goes over to the bear and his man.
Thats quite the piculiar sight to have a bear follow you 'round like a trained puppy, Im Gortech. Whats your story?

Dwarf Bolt Ace 1, Image, HP: 12/12, AC: 16, T: 13, FF: 13, F: 3, R: 5, W: 3, (+2 Hardy), Init: 3, Per: 7, Sense: 7, Appraise: 5

Upon hearing request for music and a song, Gortech starts banging his mug on the table and stomping his feet
Thunk, thunk BANG!
Thunk, thunk BANG!
Thunk, thunk BANG, Slam!
He then adds in a palm slammed onto the table for emphasis, getting the start of his beat going, and a rymithical tune is hammered out.
Thunk, thunk BANG, Slam!

He then begins to sing:

Thunk, thunk BANG, Slam!
Beer, cider, spirits and ales
Listen to the drink, dwarf tell us his tales
Loosen your belts and cups in the air
The barrels o' mead dont have a care.

Thunk, thunk BANG, Slam!

Pour the dwarf 'nother, his cup has gone dry
Please, O please hurry or he just might die
Oh what a shame that would be
For that dwarf, O me be he!

Thunk, thunk BANG, Slam!

If'n drink till we die then come an join
All sweet spirits an song, for soon they be going
They be gone.
Gone. Gone. Gone!

Thunk, thunk BANG, Slam!

So all sing along and sway side to side
No single voice is to ugly to sing or to hide!

Thunk, thunk BANG, Slam!

So pour me another and you take one too
An we'll keep drinking till the morn strikes two!

Thunk, thunk BANG, Slam!

Jus you an me, my friend!

Gortech the Cursed
Sorry, i dont have an alias up for this char yet :( working on it!

He had been tracking the trail for days and had only recently gotten wind of fresh tracks and a campfire. Bear tracks were not unusual in these parts and on any other day they would mean a good challenge, a chance to die and a good meal if that failed.
But these tracks were keeping company with a human, and making campfires to boot. Now that was unusual and had piqued Gortechs interest. As such he had been following the trail for the last few days and had been stedilly gaining when he came across the campfire and the town just down the hill, the sound of civilization and the smell of cooking wafting upwards.
With his stomach growling Gortech headed into town, all the more curious as to this unnatural bear that kept humans company, slept near fires and willingly entered small towns.
Looking up from his thought provoking persuit, he grinns at the big storefront in front of him
Been a few years since i last saw a WalMart. WaMat eh? I like it. Rolls off the tounge better. Now all i need is a McDonalds for a taste of hamburger and im set.
He said to no one in paticular, resuming his trail (it was VERY fresh now, his curiosity would be saited soon enough) he almost laughed out loud when he saw the tracks enter the local pub. An unusual beast indeed! It must think of itself a right propper hummie! Did it wear a tira and tutu as well?
Well time to grab that bite to eat and get a gander at the look o this thing.

The doors to the pub opened once again only this time it was a short dwarf, bare chested with long red hair done up in a mohawk and covered with long, viceral scars and orange tattoos criscrossing his body. Slung across his back is a long-hafted axe as tall as the dwarf and ordimentally engraved.

The dwarf seems to take a long, bemused look at the barbarian and his bear before heading to a table near them and flagging the barkeep for a pint of dwarven ale and a burger.
