"...Rawr. Looks like we aren't going to make a wish," Gobzilla announces after what feels like weeks and months of debate. Gobzilla finds himself a bit reluctant to let this chance go. However, they did get something quite useful out of this trip. Knowledge. Not only have the Heroes learned about what causes the Bad Future in detail, but they also know how other goblins can get the Right Words in case they fail. Giving this information to the Good Chiefs will certainly ensure an easier second trip if necessary and help Penny's village. In the end, that works for Gobzilla, The Greatest Goblin Druid.

I prefer "Give someone not Penny the words and idiot-proof the wish." The other option is too open for failure and most likely only results in more violence. The words could just be used for things like eternal world (village?) peace.

"Rawr! One moment! Group huddle!" says Gobzilla as he grabs the three other goblins and pulls them together. "Gobzilla isn't sure if rejecting the offer is a good idea; even if we do everything in our power to stop the gnolls and kobolds from pushing Penny to the brink, then we'll likely have to shed lots of blood. And Gobzilla and friends might very well fail." "...Rawr! If Gobzilla has to choose, then he says that we should wish for a happy ending with no or minimal suffering: one that completely avoids the end of the world and accomplishes Penny's goals without... all the gnolls and kobolds dying or something really dark happening. If someone has to suffer, then... let it be Gobzilla." Truly a tough decision for a Neutral Good character. Refusing the wish and defending Penny to the grave still invites failure and lots of bloodshed. I guess my wish is for an optimal happy ending for the goblins and Penny that involves no (or at least minimal) suffering and completely avoids the apocalypse while also not resulting in something hilariously dark like all the gnolls and kobolds dying. Gobzilla is willing to be the token sacrifice if need be. If nothing else, it leads to a much better outcome than everyone dying.

Gobzilla nods at Fluuk's logic, "Rawr! Agreed! There must be some Right Words that give us a good ending! Rawr! How... specific do we have to be? Could some hypothetical go... gnome dru- ranger named... Bobzilla ask for words that avoid all these issues and give us an ending where everything works out ideally? You know, theoretically speaking."

"Rawr! Besides no wishing for more wishes, are there any limits to what these favors or right words can accompolish? And where can Gobzilla and friends learn more about what Penny is destined to become?"

Wisdom Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Gob attempts to remember anything particularly important. "...Rawr! Penny, what say you? Gobzilla recalls you saying something about discovering something that will help us in our struggles with the monsters who have taken over the castle ruin. Gemdar also raises a good point."

"Rawr! Anything special about that water? Would another source work?" asks Gobzilla as he points at the fountain. "And is using a bowl strictly required for carrying the water?" Half of this campaign has been figuring out wacky solutions to the puzzles.

"Rawr! Gobzilla isn't entirely sure, but this probably is the Pool of Right Words, Penny. However, even Tabaaac is kind of stumped about how to use it, and he's really smart!" says the Greatest Goblin Druid. "Rawr! When things get rushed, things go wrong. Gobzilla suggests that he and his friends quickly look northwest. There's (probably) nothing to lose, and there might be clues. Hopefully an instruction manual." What exactly were we supposed to do when we found the Pool?

"Rawr! Gobzilla will open this door!" Gobzilla puffs out his chest, takes a bold step forward, splits of his hands, rubs them together, and then holds them out, palms facing the door. "Rawr! Open Says Me!" Obviously, nothing happens. "...Rawr. Gobzilla will use the knob." Gobzilla takes a deep breath and turns the doorknob.

Gobzilla and Gaia take their sweet time stealthing across the room. Gobzilla even takes off his dragon suit to make sure that it doesn't hinder his movements. Once safely in the other room, he puts it back on. That said, he keeps a bag of animal feed handy just in case. Taking 10 for both characters. Gobzilla removes his hide armor to avoid ACP and puts it on again once in the other room. The thing is asleep, so we really aren't in danger per se.

Sorry to be "that guy" and all, but the last few enemies seem to be way above our weight class. These things could probably pulp and zap Gob and Gaia to death in two rounds. Maybe we could turn around and lead these things toward the plant...

Unless we rested sometime between all that hiking, Gobzilla and Gaia have. Using another minute of my Totem Transformation for Scales. "Rawr! We fighting these things? They look tough! More so than the plant!"

"Rawr! Maybe this will work!" Gobzilla says as he scurries over to Gaia and takes two packs of animal feed off her back. He quickly tosses them to the plant; Gaia gives her handler a Look. "Rawr! Sorry, Gaia. Better the animal feed than us!" I started with five days of animal feed, but since Gob can forge for food via Survival and since Gaia was a skateboard for much of the trip, I think that he would still have all five packs.
