![]() People tend to say things like "well you shouldn't go out alone" which is fine if you're playing in peak time, but what about us players who aren't in American or European time zones? Not only will we have less people to ask for help, we also have lower pings. Yes, it means less killers will be around, but they'll pick the places they're most likely to find their preferred prey. I agree. I work rotating shifts so hard to set up a time to get together with the same group. Guilds help but tend to be in the same time zones so still a problem. I got use to running solo and like it. What I haven't seen yet [sure it is coming] is having the ability to team up on line for specific quests with strangers. From there it makes it easier to see if a guild the others are in might be one I might want to join.Like the idea that what can be "robbed" is only one item. As long as it is not for each member of the gang that jumped and killed me. However it is a really a pain when you spend hours getting that special item [like ore] only to get jumped and it is stolen. Then come back to get jumped again after hours spent getting special again. If they can keep that from happening then may consider playing. ![]()
![]() JP was a great VC that helped the Rocky Mountain PFS grow into such a strong community. There is never a week that goes by that we cannot play a game within a hour drive of Denver [unless we fill up all the tables at a venue.] He always made the time to make sure rule questions were straightened out and most importantly everyone at the table had fun. His leadership will be missed but I am just as sure he will help his successor along with any PFS’ers wherever he goes.

![]() As I understand the use of this weapon: 1. Can be used like a buckler. So AC is +1 but second attack is at minus one [So flurry of blows second attack at -1] 2. With Improved Disarm and +2 circumstance for disarm from weapon person would be +4 disarm when using the weapon or +3 as second part of flurry of blows. My question is that with Improved Disarm without weapon when you disarm someone do you get to keep the weapon using Tekko? Since the weapon is strapped on the arm and leaves hands free the weapon could be grabed. However to keep with the rule for disarm the weapon would fall to the ground. Just looking to be consistant when GMing. ![]()
![]() Use and X-acto knife, take your time and cut away from yourself. :) Then use a washer like the other person said. I have a bunch of one inch bases that warhammer put out years ago [don't know if they are still available]. Been using same technique on Hero-clix superheroes for Champions game for years and works well. ![]()
![]() What would work better is that the GM would be able to run in the adventure later as a player. What you say he would know all the secrets of the adventure? First a good GM should be a good role player which should be able to play not knowing things that his character knows. Over the years I have replayed many modules both as GM and player and had fun each time [especially love the Hill Giants]. Secondly the GM could then share the game with others as a player and his character would actually gain experience and gold due him. On an non-popular side, I really like the idea that the same player could play the same module again with a different character. This would allow the Society to grow faster as people could level more characters thus improving the pool of characters to play from. I do agree that we should share expensense with the GM. I try to at least pick up refreshments for them when I play. |
