I havent managed to get access to PHB2, i am unaware of any free resources for it.
The vague idea was a dwarf fire- or sun-themed shaman who can heal and whose primal spells are typically support but could also have some evocation.

If we do end up recruiting more, and someone happens to want to be a leader/healer instead of a striker, i would be willing to swap to a new character.
Gart, while fun, isn't exactly the character i had envisioned. I was imagining more of a divine sun/fire magic user.
offhand, some things that looked interesting were Animist Shaman, p90 DSCS
maybe Devoted Cleric (Radiant Servant paragon path later) if there was a strong fire/sun theme with it, although that could be flavor.
or i could keep playing Gart.

looking back through the last 1600 posts or so for loot.
some inspiring moments, like when we all called Jareen a defiler and a templar, when Gart brought Th'kal back from the bring of death, etc.
still no loot seen though.

well, i am sure there was some loot, but i don't mark it down unless it is specifically given to my character. i have seen loot that the party picks up, but i dont recall it having been divided and handed to me.

Gart looked on, remaining quiet. Not only had he not seen them, but he was likely entirely out of his depth in this situation.
When the arcane symbol was drawn, he thought to himself for a moment. Runes and things held his interest on an almost instinctual level.

Ok, i was wondering, since many of my attacks were dice+5, and 19 would normally be a +4. so i guess they go up to +6.
EDIT: Gart should be leveled up. I think i did everything correctly and learned a bit along the way.

as far as feats go, i looked through the Dark Sun book and the main Player Handbook, not really seeing good feats. am i missing something?
As I got my initial character sheet pre-made, which things are calculated off of 1/2 levels?
Since i am level 4, certain things should go up, the book says.
Also, my STR went from 19 to 20. Does that affect my attack and damage like pathfinder/3.5?

working on level up, so far as best i can tell:
can add +1 to two ability scores (probably STR and INT)
modify things based on 1/2 level (not sure what all of those are)
+5 HP
no class features?
definitely no powers at level 4, i can tell that much.
