Garridan silently listens to his companions negotiations with Bartlebe as he realizes he is not a skilled negotiator. He is surprise at Barts forthrightness in assessing the value of the place and realizes they have found the right man.

Later he prepares for the journey and checks to see if his shield and rapier are done. He picks up a few more supplies as he gets ready to leave on the 26th.

As they journey and see the dust cloud Garridan quickly agrees as he begins to move off the side of the road, "I agree lets get out of sight"

Garridan listens to Laynes' beseeching, She and I have been on the same side of things. He begins to unconsciously rub his throat, well almost everything. He looks around at his companions, What will become of them if I'm not there to lead and protect them?

He concludes, "For you Layne, I'll run this errand if just to keep you safe and out of trouble. But who will run tavern for us in our absence?"

"Aye, just give me a minute to catch my breath," Garridan responds to Ed's request. He takes a moment, shutting his eyes and kneels down in supplication to his god. Miraculously, his wounds begin to close before your eyes.

Nice story. But he needs to understand that the ship, the cash box, and all the goods on board is our booty not his to be given away. Garridan thinks as he listens to Akron. He picks up the belt Ed pointed out and says as he looks at Zinchers body, " you will not be needing this." Looking around to his companions he asks, "Does anyone mind?" If there are no objections he puts the belt on.

Trying to be practical he adds' "we don't need to fight Zincher as ll we need to do is make it to his ship first and steal it. Also, if we kill him all this information is worthless."

After hearing Layne's berating of Lief Garridan begins to smile as he thinks, I'm really beginning to like that girl. That though abruptly ends as he remembers the slashed throats she left in her wake at the temple, not a much more then a month ago. Eyeing Layne with a bit more trepidation he takes another swig of his wine.

Garridan frowns confused as Ed attitude, "Ah right you are, Ed. I'm glad to here you are starting to look at things rationally again." He smiles after Ed leaves, "More for the rest of us, I guess."

Many came from Riddleport looking for wealth, that does not mean they are connected to the drow."

He stands up and stretches as he concludes, "I think Lief has the right of it, Zincher will be more concerned with what we've found. So we best be careful."

Garridan looks out over the water, from his vantage point and sees the Drow running across the surface of the water. Orc nuggets, he thinks as he watches her retreating form. What he doesn't see concerns him more, where is Lief, he wonders as he tries to peer through the water where Lief landed.

He continues his decent, dropping his shield, and moves to the edge of the water. He says a quick prayer and a wave of energy pulses from his body.
