He has a lair in the woods about a half day's travel from here. It will probably be heavily defended. As for the Blackbird...I hate having to deal with him. He is the worst kind of scum. Gareth spits on the floor obviously unhappy that he had to deal with a crime lord to help his companions.

Pardon my lady, but we were not sent to discuss ourselves. Please respect our privacy in this matter. I will not ask any personal questions of you either. Garth attempts to be as polite as possible. It would not be good to have a double agent know our personal details.

Gareth nods his head, bowing slightly to lady. Beg our pardon m'am. This gentleman was attacked in the market and we have rescued him. We have steel to pay and would like to help this man recover and have a meal. Gareth sets the elven man down softly on the floor. He takes off his cloak and folds it under the elf's head. He looks around to the adventurers surrounding him. Are any of you skilled at the healing arts?

Gareth turns to the Minotaur and offers his hand. You acted honorably. Maybe we should all find a tavern to head to and lay low for awhile? Gareth looks around for trouble. He then turns to the merchant. You have nothing to worry about. I was going to reimburse you if the statue was yours. Here is five steel for your trouble.

Seeing the authorities are absent, Gareth draws his falcion as he moves toward one of the thugs attacking the elf. When he reaches the closest combatant, he uses the hilt of his sword to hit him in the head. Attack: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 5 - 4 = 21
Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 5 - 4 = 18
Get off of the elf or My next blow will be at your neck! Intimidate: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 (Any pluses for crushing one of their friends?) Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

These guys need to be taught a lesson. Gareth shifts uneasily watching the men bully the elf. ,but I have no authority here and there is no proof this statue belongs to the elf. I wonder who the legal authorities are? Gareth looks around to see who is watching.

Gareth pulled the hood of his cloak a little further over his head attempting to hide his features. If being 6'3" and 220 pounds was not obvious enough, his ruddy complexion would be a dead giveaway of his Solamnic heritage to the dark knights patrolling the town. He knew that blowing his cover would be tragic in Pashin. What he had desired for many years was finally in arms reach. He was not about to let it slip through his fingers. One successful mission and he would be able to start the path of the Crown Knights. Gareth followed Ahelcot through the market. Over the last few weeks, Gareth had built a high level of trust in his new wizard companion. Multiple nights during the journey from Solanthus the two shared their dreams. When the wizard interrupted his thoughts, Gareth knew it had to be important. Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Keep an eye out, but do not be quick to react. We need to blend.

Awesome write up Enistus! You and Riddick both have very strong submissions and I would be happy to have the opportunity to RP with either of you! Good luck!
4) Branchala's at odds with your god Gareth? I thought he was allied with all the good aligned gods...unless his god is LN or something. What were you concerned about exactly? This is not an issue. I was just bringing up differences. It could make for fun RP. My only concern was the possibility of flamboyant behavior. You have responded to that so I am good. Thank you for responding.
I like Riddick's build and think he would be a good RPer. I am a little worried about the Androgenous thing because I have played in a campaign with a character like that in the past and it took over the game. It had been a really good campaign until the player got flamboyant. He even started hitting on male characters. It got obnoxious and graphic. Players dropped one by one. I would like a little description of how you plan to RP the character (no spoilers of course). I am playing a LG Paladin and with a CN bard who serves a deity who is at odds with my deity, I am a little concerned. You may not be going this direction and if that is the case, you have my vote. I think you said you weren't extremely familiar with Dragonlance. While that isn't overly important, you might not know about the knights of Solamnia. They can not tolerate questionable behavior in their party. Do you mind giving a bit more information?
Thunder boomed as lightning split the night sky providing the only light by which to view the surroundings. Heavy rainfall fell hindering vision beyond twenty feet. Gareth pulled the hood of his brown leather cloak further over his face as he moved closer to the shadowy building. So many times he had seen this building, but he had never reached it. This time will be different. He instinctively reached inside his cloak caressing the hilt of his sword. He continued to push through the wind and rain until the front of the building was easily viewable. Its black granite and white marble block walls reflected his image while being illuminated by fingers of white lightning crackling through the heavens. What is this place? A tomb? Another flash of lightning, brighter than the others, struck only yards from him. It revealed the steps of the magnificent structure. Suddenly, two figures stood looking at him from the top of the steps. A man and woman dressed in ceremonial blue and black armor simultaneously reached for him as if beckoning him forward. The light was quickly interrupted by a loud thunderclap which knocked Gareth off of his feet. Then, sudden darkness.. Awaken from a deep sleep, Gareth expected to see the courtyard and shadowy building he was approaching only moments before. Instead, he saw the campfire of the merchant caravan he had been travelling with the past few weeks. The dreams had increased exponentially over the journey to Khur, especially since receiving the letter from his mom. He had been told the gates of Ak-Khurman were only a days travel away now. Unable to return to sleep, the young paladin found a quite, secluded place to prepare for his morning devotions. Though worship of the gods was beginning to return to the war torn world, Gareth had been expressly ordered not to allow the others to know of his connection with the Knights of Solamnia or his allegiance to Kiri-Jolith. The past few years had strengthened his faith in the deity and his mother, Mishakal. As a member of the Solanthic Liberation Army, Gareth gained the respect of the Knight of Solamnia while aiding in the recovery of Solanthus from the Dark Knights. Now he was on a mission to meet Lional Uth Dartan...

That works well for my background.

I need someone lawful good that caught me trying to pickpocket them but they caught me and decided to lead me down the path of righteousness. Not sure how the selection process will go, but I will play whatever role you need to connect backgrounds. You can see my background above if that will work for you. I haven't been in Khur long though.
Background:
Gareth Brightblade is the bastard son of Steel Brightblade. During Steel's early twenties in Palanthus, he bed a local noble's daughter. He would never know that the girl would conceive that fateful night and later bare a male child. Gareth's mother was sent away by her father to Solanthus with a maid servant to avoid bringing shame on the family name. In Solanthus, Gareth was raised by his mother and a great uncle who was a Knight of Solamnia. This great uncle, though retired from his position with the order, raised the boy as his own and taught him the skills required to become a squire. His mother gave her life to the church of Mishakal and became a priestess. Her faith became an important part of her son's life. At the age of eighteen, Gareth's great uncle vouched for the honor of his young nephew and helped him earn his chance to join the order. Only a week later, his uncle died. Devastated by the loss of the only father he had known, Gareth spent the next few years dedicating himself to his training. At the age of twenty two, his life was changed dramatically. He was sent on a secret mission to Khur to meet with leaders of the Legion of Steel to provide the groundwork for diplomacy between the two groups. The young squire spent his last few days in Solanthus with his mother. When he finally left for Khur, his mother handed him a letter and made him promise he would not read it until he saw the gates of Khur. Travel to Khur was hard, but he made it without incident. When he arrived, it was finally time to open the letter. He never could have known how life changing the note would be. The note, handwritten by his mom, explained his conception and birth. It revealed the identity of his father and a brief history of Steel's life as well as the life and death of his grandfather Sturm. Now living in Khur, Gareth has commited himself to the task the Knights have given him while hoping to someday find out more about his Brightblade heritage. What do you think Darkfire? If I am chosen, I will build him as either a melee paladin or an archer paladin depending on the make up of the party. Thanks for the opportunity to apply. ~Jman72 "Est Sularus oth Mithas - My Honor is my Life." - The Oath of the Knights of Solamnia
I am dotting with Esme. She is a human Cleric of Desna (Varisian Pilgrim Archetype). Her crunch is included in her profile. I will put together the rest of the information soon. I plan for her to have travelled with a varisian merchant caravan who spends time in Sandpoint. She has come to idolize Ameiko due to the fact she has always believed in Esme's ability as a harrower and actually provided her with her first deck of harrow cards. Character’s Name and a description of what they look like.
A brief paragraph of their history, where they came from, and what their motivation may be.
A brief summary of their class, including ability scores, skills, feats, spells, special abilities.
How often you can post (at least once per day frequency is preferred).
