You find him holding a big sack and giving it to a dark haired woman.

"What favor?" she asks as she lunges at you.

Just speaking, okay.

I'll set up my reply back in about two hours, my left wrist hurts.

"We know that if he had not returned the Astrolabe, doom may come upon us and the Thirteenth Moon may have returned. If Dal'Quor returned, we won't know what might have happened. So, we toast friendship, and family as we welcome Ebran into our ranks! All give hail!"

Everyone claps their hands for Ebran. And some people are calling out for a speech from your companion.

Well, you have the Initiative.

I already looked at it.

The new Dragonborn stats (from 5e) are a lot different, but that is from the playtest document.

Silver Crusade

Update, I added a bunch of new Breath Weapon feats inspired by Skyrim, of course.

Dragonborn Racial Feats -- new additions.

Varanaso is a wealthy merchant. He has contacts in Xen'drik and the Talenta plains. His safes are full of gold and heirloom items from the halflings.

Tilganor is a blustering politician. He helps to represent Skyway on the city council.

Cassadar runs one of the inns in Skyway.

June invests all her future into jewels.

Bridget is a successful boat pilot.

Aethelfred is a wizardly recluse that has let his skyway apartment go to pot.

EVERYONE:

After everyone has given their testimony, an hour later, you are all called in to the banquet hall. The banquet was serving the best food. The best wine, and the best dessert. It was a buffet table (so the players can pick out what they want to eat, lol!).

The tables all had white table cloths, and place settings, and proper utensils in their proper places. One of the items on display was a peacock, and peacock meat was available. There was even marzipan for dessert, some plated in gold leaf.

So, apparently, I'm all into this world-building stuff (which I am). I do, however, really like and appreciate input from others! Which is my way of saying, "Please put input into my worlds, 'cause I greatly like to hear others' ideas!"

So here we go again!

I was speaking with my wife (who is working on teaching Edith Hamilton's Mythology) and she thought it would be a great idea for a campaign. And I agreed!

So, I'm looking to flush this out somewhat, with your help!

First:
I'm basing the world itself on the 3.0 D&D Deities and Demigods show for the Hellenistic World (based around mount Olympus) - but blending it with the other three "classic" worlds.

One of the interesting things I noticed was that, in the world of Egypt, the way the "Western Mountains"* were set up, they were actually North West... roughly the same direction of Olympus compared to Egypt. Interestingly, the Shadow Plane existed underneath both mount Olympus and the Western Mountains*. With the comparison of the World Tree for Norse, it turns out that it had one root deep into the depths of the shadow plane, and another on the adjacent material plane... very similar in composition to both the Egyptian realm and the Grecian one. The Blessed Fields of Egyptian lore sound similar to Elysium, by description, which is known to, but different from the Olympus locale in the Grecian pantheon stays. Also the shadow plane is the transitive plane between not one, but three different "planes of completely terrible".

The short version is: I'm blending the three worlds into one. This is not meant to be Earth-plus, but rather a fantasy game based of those three Earth pantheons. The conflicting world-creation myths are actually justifiable under this element, it's just that:

a) the deities were building different parts of the world, instead of the entirety of it

b) are all correct, only...

Need some ideas?

Pathfinder is a lot like the Original D&D game. Anyone can run a game they like with it. That's why they have roleplaying games set within specific stories (Pendragon, the One Ring, MERP, Star Wars).

He took in every detail, writing it all down, asking questions on anything he missed. Apparently, this Night Claw was the one that stole what the library had in the first place. He took everything down and prepared to go meet Salmoneus about the copies for the library.

Silver Crusade

male Human Atlanteologist 10/G.eneral O.perations D.irector 8

Here are my justifications:

1. you guys look like you need more breathing room.

2. Danir wants to do his storyline, and he's itching to.

3. You still can work with the Citadel, if Ebran's elemental skyship was smaller, and less conspicuous. I'm thinking of making it a special ship, that has landing capabilities. Yeah, you don't have to dock at a tower.

4. It will allow you to go all over Khorvaire, and can go beyond. Even to Sarlona and Xen'drik.

5. Plus, it will make it faster to get one from place to another. And riding the rail would put you in more danger than a skyship.

Silver Crusade

male Human Atlanteologist 10/G.eneral O.perations D.irector 8

What do you guys think about Ebran getting his own ship? A small ship?

Something like a racing, regata sloop? sloop Or a dhow? dhow

Silver Crusade

male Human Atlanteologist 10/G.eneral O.perations D.irector 8

(Sorry, Internet has been slow)

"Thank you, Ebran, for your time. If one of the assailants escaped, we should track him down," he said.

Danir gets a knock on his door from the Inquisitives. "Please, we'd like to talk to you about the murder," one of them says.

Law/Chaos is poorly named. It's more so about whether you have liberal or conservative mind set. A lawful person prefers structure and discipline whereas a chaotic person see structure as hindering restraints. Having meant many people of different ends of the spectrum, I honestly feel there exists truth to this, though obviously not so polarizing as the game presents it. Even societies and culture can go either way. Some cultures place a high value on tradition and loyalty while others encourage shrugging off tradition in favor of advancing personal ambition.

That being said, I do think there's something to this concept of yours. However, I'm not entirely sure how it fits with Good/Evil. So if I'm EC, it's okay to do good things as long as I have an evil agenda? And if I'm EA, doing evil things is more important than the end result?

I do like Liberalism vs Conservatism replacing Chaos and Law, respectively.

I will be using this nomenclature in my next game.

Given how most of us Conservatives in the United States are actually Classical liberals, and we believe that today's Liberals (that have Democratic/CPUSA talking points) are actually Statists, I find this idea of Conservatism vs. Liberalism to be also imperfect.

Yes, and no.

Pathfinder was designed to accommodate anything you can imagine. That's it's design. Some things will be unbelievable. However, according to the Many Worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics there is an infinite number of possibilities; so therefore all fiction is true.

With the annoucement of the Iron Gods Adventure Path it's begining to feel to me that Paizo are trying to cram every single possible type of campaign world into a single setting. Whilst it's not uncommon for a fantasy world to include several sterotypes such as Norse, Ancient Egypt and Oriental sections, the idea of throwing in aliens (which as an aside is supiciously similar to the Pinnacle Savage Worlds setting Evernight), feels like a step too far.

I am interested to see if others have a similar impressions based on the little information released so far. Should Paizo have kept back these ideas for a seperate campaign world?

This is just my opinion, no more or less valid than anyone else's... but quotes like this from the new 'Technology Guide' terrify me and other classic/high fantasy players like me:

It’s one thing to face a dragon armed with a longsword and a suit of magic plate mail, but what if you had an atom gun and powered armor? How many zombies could you blow up with a rocket launcher? What happens if you’re standing next to a graviton reactor when it explodes?

If we wanted to play Rifts, we would be.

Awe, too bad. Gravitons (gravity wave particles) have always been pure fantasy.
