Sorry, my in-laws have been in town for the past week or so, keeping everyone in my house busy. They leave early today so I hopefully should be able to get the chronicles out today.

No one is able to tell what these new creatures are that the captives are describing. Unable to figure out what the rat means they look at Dalirio's unholy symbol and figure out that it belongs to Groetus.

Killing Dalirio doesn’t end the kidnapping threat to Cassomir—in fact, Dalirio, despite all his blustering to the contrary, was a rather small player in the plots that unfold deep beneath Cassomir. For now, the more brazen kidnappings stop and you have restored some semblance of peace to the city. How long that peace will last is unknown.

Scenario over! I will report it and get the chronicle sheets to you later this week.


Zykon only notices that there has been a lot of traffic in here. Rathor cannot identify the rat for any particular deity.

Nachts thrusts his glaive deep into the huecuva's belly, goring it. When he pulls his weapon back the creature falls down. Combat over!
Half of the crates in this room are marked with gigantic red X’s, painted on with a wide brush. The supplies include flour, grains, sugar, coffee, tea, dried goods, and so on—everything the cult needs to supply its operations. When you release the captives from their cells, they say "Thank you for saving us. Dark and gray-skinned humanoids with enormous eyes came frequently to negotiate with that man you just killed before buying a handful of us and taking them from the room. We don't know where they were taken."

Nerissys identifies the undead creature as a huecuva. It has a Dr/magic or silver.

Rathor and Zykon's attacks go to the undead and get buried into its body, but it doesn't seem to have any effect other than making it look like a pincushion. Are you dazzled or not Rathor going into the next fight? It didn't matter too much with the rat and the druid because of how high your attack rolls were.

Under the table the party finds an unlocked chest containing 1600 gp in Cassomir trade bars. They open the double doors to find a steep staircase that ends at a set of heavy wooden doors. If you move faster than normal movement on these you must make an Acrobatics DC 10 check or fall down the stairs.
Opening the doors reveal that tall vaulted ceilings disappear into darkness high above as candles and torches barely illuminate the lower reaches of this room. Along the north wall are three cell doors, thick wooden affairs bracketed by solid steel bracings with small, six-inchsquare windows set high in them. Enormous crates, barrels, and sacks of goods are stacked neatly in the southwest corner of the room. The floor is clean granite, etched with a wavyline pattern that permeates throughout the entire room; the design even climbs the walls and disappears into the vaults above. A rat-shaped chalk drawing dominates the floor in the center of the room, clearly depecting a dire rat leaning forward as if to pounce. In the middle of the room stands an undead creature and some distance behind it stands a human. "Attack them!" he orders the undead creature.

Two bolts bury themselves in the lady's chest, dropping her. Combat over! Nachts 5 damage, Rathor 6 damage, Nerissys 1 damage, Zykon 1 damage, Dr. Nimblefingers 1 or 3 damage. When you search her body, she has two potions, a half-plate, a heavy flail, and a note from a Dalirio Teppish with a map and directions to a warehouse on the south side of the Imperial Naval Shipyards, in which there is an office with a trap door that leads to a hidden basement where the “Cult of Nature’s Cataclysm” meets and gathers supplies. After casting detect magic the half-plate and potions light up. The potions end up being cure light wounds and the half-plate is a little better than a masterwork one +1.
Following the directions and after getting ready.
A smell, not unlike wet dog, fills this room. The corners are occupied by dirty straw pallets covered by wrinkled, mildew-encrusted blankets. A single dilapidated table and four cracked and uneven chairs surround it. The floor is covered in a thin layer of dust and mud and footprints clearly cross the room from the trap door in the ceiling to a set of wooden double doors in the west wall. Once inside the room, another druid shows himself and his two rats. He shouts something out that none of you can understand unless you can understand Druidic and directs the rats to attack you.

That is understandable, Alistair. I am familiar with the feeling...as is apparent. We have a little less than a week and a half before the end of game day though so I am kind of rushing it now while trying to keep the difficulty the same.
The power of Alistair's arrow makes the zombie's head fall off. Seeing that the lady gets mad "Do you know how much trouble it is to find good quality henchmen?!"
Drawing her weapon, she touches her symbol and negative energy expands from her again. Channel Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 Will saves from everyone except for Alistair, DC 12. On my phone again, could someone delete the zombie, please?

The goblin that Sagart swung at gets chopped and diced. Going down the hallway after finding no traps, the group finds what must have been Inoklar's bedchamber. A search of the room finds a large chest containing Inoklar’s takings from the Nightsoil Marauders’ operations, including emblems and tokens of rival crime organizations in Magnimar: a set of miniature scales carved from black onyx stolen from an inattentive Night Scale thief, several Varisian scarves and knives taken from Sczarni thugs, an ornamental star of Desna filched from one of the Gallowed, a broken klar that belonged to a Shoanti gang leader, and most importantly, a golden Aspis Consortium badge. At the bottom of the chest, well hidden from her superstitious goblin minions, are Inoklar’s scrawled notes detailing her plans to take over Magnimar.
Conclusion.
With Inoklar’s defeat, the leadership of the Nightsoil Marauders is disrupted, and any remaining goblins quickly disband into small, disorganized groups posing little threat. The trinkets retrieved by the PCs from the guild’s headquarters are put to good use by the Society, as returning some of these help improve relations with factions of Magnimar’s underworld. The Society has plans to use the gold Aspis badge as vital part of an important covert operation against the Consortium. With Ekkie surviving, her fate is up to the PCs.
Scenario over. I will try to get the chronicle sheets out when I can. Feel free to roleplay more.

With everyone attacking her, Inoklar falls down and is bleeding out but no longer on fire. Seeing her fall, the last two goblins turn and run back into the sewers. AoOs available to Sagart and Evan, other than that...Combat Over!
On Inoklar's body are two different potions and one elixir. The goblins ran down a tunnel to the left while there is one tunnel to the right.

The evidence and the receipt were found in about 4 minutes, the fight took some time as well as decrypting most of the receipt.

After gathering everything that was required, you go through the vents again and make your way back to the waiting room. Elapsed time 20 minutes. 15 minutes remaining.
After a few minutes, the ambassador arrives in the waiting room. You hand him his sealed envelope and leave.
Now that the Pathfinder Society knows where Zarta has been taken and who has taken her, they can get to work on either getting her back or at least figuring out how to deal with Tancred Desimire, who is now firmly in the Society’s sights. With the false evidence used by Desimire, the Pathfinder Society may be able to prove to the Chelaxians that Zarta is innocent, though how they can do so without admitting they searched the embassy is hard to see.
When the Pathfinders report back to Venture- Captain Valsin, if they successfully deduced Zarta’s situation without alerting the guards, he gives each of you a token stamped with the House of Thrune’s insignia.
