Yeah thanks WaterySoup for a great game! It was a bit sad to loose some of the players along the way, but I liked how you handled it. There was plenty of research and backstory here, and I think you handled it well!

It was very enjoyable game, and I am also sad that it is over.

Fundin joins Lazlo in his efforts, he focuses however on putting the numberless dead to rest. Preparing the proper burial and tombstones for them. He assist in rebuilding the place in hope that it would help to keep the monsters locked. He every now and then reminds Lazlo that he is there only temporarily until his job is done, but after some months no one can be certain.

Maybe Fundin will just stay in the manor to make sure that Tchekuth never awakens...

I am fine waiting, I am also fine if we want to join the Troubles in Otari with Beginner's Box into some sort of continuation.

I heard that now Beginner box can be played with characters built using regular rules instead of simplified ones (which I very much prefer!).

So I would gladly join Beginer Box, (as I also checked that it is a repeatable)

Fundin looks with horror when Zoi moves to Catrina and kisses her. His eyes get big before he yells "NOOOO!"and runs forwards to push his ally away from the creature.

He see his body to fall to the ground barely breathing. He swings his hammer, barely hurting Catrina. He yells to Lazlo and Galimus "Entertain her, while I will try to save our lover."

He moves to where Zoi have dropped and grabs his cold wing. "Come on Zoi! Wake up! Wake up!" he repeats seeing no more life in him than before

When finally Zoi opens his eyes he holds him in place "What were you thinking going to kiss that creature?!?!"

Hmm, I've played Plaguestone and I am playing Grey Death. I did not play Troubles in Otari, but by the time you finish playing it (I will finish GM'ing it :D), but that would not stop me from playing if you don't mind. I am usually good to not spill any knowledge to the team members, and still participate.

With regards to scenario, I haven't played 4-05/4-10 so that would also be an option for me.

Fundin raises dwarven skull with a grimace of sadness and pain, he puts it on the ground and reaches for another one, then another one. He says nothing, when they hear the mole he runs to it, and grabs the creature in his big hands. His body stiffens as he sees the vision, that he narrates to the others.

For a moment he falls to the ground breathing heavily. "I need to stay here and sort this out. Those bodies need a proper burial. Their souls need to depart this place and be on their way. The Starless Arch needs fixing."

He sits up and looks around himself, so much work...

"We need to let the souls to rest. They can't stay like this!" he yells as he jumps in between skeletons swinging his hammer ...

So what do we want to do here? I am fine with us putting Ioseffs soul to rest and calling it done.

But at the same time if we want to clear all of the battles I am ok with it as well. Effectively I care more about the story than fighting (if you ask me).

I still do not know what is the story with Tschekutch, are they buried somewhere under the house? How would they come to life if we would not stop Ioseff? I think I need to reread what we discovered, as my memory is falling.

Fundin falls to his knees, his hammer falling to the ground, as he breathes heavily. He looks at the faces of the others, and for now says nothing.

That was brutal! I think that without help of psychopomps Ioseff would mope the floor with our bodies ;)

Jokes aside, this is adventure in which case i think it is fine for gm to make adjustments. It would feel extremely odd to have pc die just due to die rolls. But that is me, not a great fan of PC death.

Ok, what is the understanding of Lazlo's death? Is he dead-dead? Or dying 1? In none of my games spell with Death trait did actually 'work'

So what do we do? Lazlo has fallen to the phantasmal killer, so far we haven't harmed the ghost. Should I try to grab Lazlos body and run?

Or are we making this our stand and hope that the dice will turn the tide?

No issues with the language used. Paizo also uses real-world languages in some scenarios.

Since we have 120 GP we should buy Lazlo striking rune for the rapier. The rest of the GP we should spend on whatever Galimus/Zoi want to buy.

If we sell diplomat's badge (65 gp sell price) we would have 100 + GP again. It would be enough for Staff of healing (a bit boring) or some wand, or anything else

Sorry folks, had a hectic last week. I am back, but I will be able to update Fundin tomorrow. I think I have made all the changes in pathbuilder, but I need to double-check them.

I think we should also go through the loot list and decide about some items and possibly sell them or use them: like Diplomat Badge, a scroll of ghostly weapons, sculpting tools, and a necklace of fireballs.

Ideally, I would like to buy a sturdy shield, to actually use the shield block reaction ;) But I know that in AP we don't have an abundance of gold, and he did get his striking rune, so I could use the steel shield from Galimus and use it mostly to raise my AC.

Good decision @WaterySoup, I would do exactly what you said. I need a better shield, sacrificing a steel shield to survive the hit is a good trade-off

Fundin brings his shield which breaks in half, under the strength of that mighty blow. The bloody dwarf was standing before the second hit came. He fell to the ground smiling, hoping to see Magrim on the other side. But soon after he woke up feeling the pain once again.

He cursed horribly and got up. He picks up his hammer in his left hand and strikes

There is a timing thing here with confusion. I think we first would roll the save, and since Fundin was hit twice, each time could snap him out of being confused.
