Fiosa can cast Feather Fall once today (since she already used her other bard slot on Charm Person.

I assume that Marius will be near the front; Fiosa can take the rearguard, and we can put the two mages in the middle.

Whichever way sounds fine to me.

Fiosa stays prone (for the extra AC against ranged attacks) and tries casting Charm Person on the assassin.

To be honest, I was a bit confused by the sequence of events, where we saw the ghouls underwater, and we surprised them...and then they moved, and then we got to act?

Fiosa starts playing her pipes to inspire courage in her allies. (surprise round).

She delays until after the ghouls on round 1.

"Ghouls and ghasts!" Fiosa gasps. "Be careful they don't paralyze you, everyone."

Fiosa grimaces. "Um...does someone want to give me a piggyback ride? I'm not sure I want to swim through that."

"Good gracious! I hope we're not even considering letting devils on the loose!" Fiosa is aghast at the suggestion.

Fiosa tries jumping too.

"If we're willing to wait a while, I can ask Iomedae for blessings that will restore Marius's strength...that is, if the gods can reach us in this place. I wonder where those shadows were coming from, anyways?" Fiosa ponders.
