I'd be playing a Sorcerer/Dragon Disciple and she has a natural weapon martial (Ranger/Fighter/Barbarian). We'll need to get a game or two in, but will be 10th level by then.

Yeah a fully party!!!!

Now just to line up a GM.....

Just drop on some poor random :)

I'm still looking for folks the two slots I've managed to get off and playing (9-3 Thurs AM, 9-1 Friday AM). Taking sat morning as my dealer room time and Thursday night will be spent outside the Sag unless something massively changes (because it's been ages since I've gotten a NSDMG in :) )

Cool. And I actually forgot to mention - Silbeg (Venture-Captain Jack Brown) volunteered to be our GM for Solstice Scar, if we can reasonably coordinate that. Getting a specific GM might be tougher to coordinate, though.

From years past, unless they have changed, it is the responsibility of the GM to tell their musterer about a premustered table. There are no guarantees, though.

Awesome! Sounds like great adventuring for two nights in a row!

Jack Brown made a comment about the GM letting the HQ people handling the mustering know about a premustered group.

Gary, I have a sixth for the 9-00 table - somehow I had it in my head that my daughter Melissa had a 7-8 ticket but she has a 10-11 ticket. Her character will be an L10 bloodrager (abyssal bloodline), focused on DPR.

Please share my email with her.

What is her name (real or screen). Just feel strange saying "Wallbanger's daughter".

It looks like the front line is solidly covered, so my barbarian is out. If Jeff plays his Archeologist we should have plenty of skills and arcane, so I'll play my cleric. If Jeff wants to play his fighter, I'll play my wizard so we have more knowledges. Either is fine by me.

Just out of curiosity, anyone else get the "wrong" tier ticket for 9-00?

I was intending to play at 10-11 with a group of friends but by the time my transaction went through there were no 10-11 tickets left. I did get a 3-4 ticket. Been checking the GenCon website in the hope that some tickets would open up (maybe some of the ACG tables would transition to RPG), but it looks like no such luck.

So, anyone want to trade a 10-11 ticket for my 3-4?

Gary, with how bad our pre-mustered table was last year, I almost wonder if it's better to join a random group in the hallway :).

*Sigh* that scenario just had it out for us. It didn't help our choosing the "fight, fight, fight" path either.

Everyone's been talking about the Friday and Saturday specials.
Did anyone else snag a Thursday 8pm 8-25 Unleashing the Untouchable ticket? I have a Slayer 6 /Wizard 1 /Arcane Archer 6 that will be looking for a group to shoot lots of arrows with.

As far as I can tell there is only ONE table of Unleashing the Untouchable being run in each slot. (The max number of players is 6.) So your table is what your table is.

It makes me sad to see people say they bought a ticket for this but may not use it. They were all sold out by the time my cart ran.

Yeah, I just thought to check this, then came here to nuke my post. Oh well, if you're in my game, I'll see you in a week.

This was covered in the volunteer newsletter.

GenCon Volunteer Newsletter 7/30/2017 wrote:

We do not advertise players being able to request a specific GM for a number of reasons. However, every year we do seem to get a few and sometimes the GM is unware/surprised by a group of players they did not expect. So, to prevent any unnecessary situations the following procedure is required if players want to request a specific GM:

(1) The players must confirm with the GM directly the request to play at their table
(2) The GM, not the players, must make the request with HQ at least one hour prior to the start of the slot
(3) It must be a full table of six players. The logistics of this process can break down if we have to handle the table multiple times. So, if there are not six players, the GM/players must recruit more before submitting the request
(4) The GM must present the real tickets for all six players. We do not reserve seats for players with generic tickets. Once verified, the tickets will be returned to the GM so they can be collected during the regular slot time with the rest of the table tickets
(5) Only an HQ Lead or HQ Department Head can approve the request
(6) HQ will record the pre-mustered table on the marshal sheet
(7) When reporting for their game, the players can go directly to the table. They do not need to check in with the Marshal

Didn't you just advertise exactly what they said they don't advertise "for a number of reasons"?

As I understand it, this is the first time that an actual process has been articulated for GMs and Players to follow.

So, Michael, consider yourself not chastised! :)

This is the key part. Everyone has to have a real ticket. Otherwise, you can't work with a GM to get at their table.

Which means that most folks volunteering or who were unable to get 'real' tickets because they were helping run PFS at a convention when events went live?

...are out of luck in that regard, don't even try it.

I'm running both specials tier 3-4.

I'm hoping against hope I can get a party of Kobolds together, especially for Assault on Absalom.
