Durgan goes for Matheus. This is going to add 215 lbs to Durgan's current encumbrance total.
Illithir reaches into her pockets and pulls out a wad of lint, some sand (it gets everywhere), a spare hanky, some old trail mix, two copper coins, and a third of a candle. She hurls the mess at the efreeta's face. Unfortunately it is not really all that aerodynamic and lands without much if any impact. In a blur of speed the efreeta slashes out at them both. Hitting Illthir with a blow that nearly knocks the skald's head from her shoulders.
Durgan dives out the door with his unconscious burden.

Hanging upside-down in the fire in a way that makes Illthir wonder if she is actually one upside-down the red woman moves her head to avoid the skald's blow, and smiles.
"To burn down the stables or slay?" The skald asks the "efreeti" in a clear voice. She wasn't sure if she could fight the creature - certainly not in a place on fire. But maybe if it came outside ... Or let them leave on a technicality? The creatures of hell might. Those of the abyss probably wouldn't owe anyone a favour ...
"You take me for a mere arsonist?" says the red woman with black horns sprouting from her head.
She whistles and the fiery horse exhales a billowing plume of choking smoke that envelops Mother Vorst. Illthir can take her readied attacked but note there is "soft cover" and smoke which offers concealment (20% miss chance) in the way. The efreeti herself probably does something using the roar of the fire and the thick smoke for cover.

The doors open on chaos. A stable on fire horses rearing in panic everywhere. One of them a big black stallion snorting smoke and fire, is back lit by a fire in the doorway to the backroom, were the plucky Alisa Patrician lies on the floor not moving. The blurry outline of a woman in a revealing Katapeshi-style harem get-up stands over her.
"Nothing personal," She says, and walks through the flame, and into the barn. "but I owe a guy."
Her skin is lustrous red. She the heat distortion in the air seems like it is coming from her, and her horse as much as the fire.
Mother Vorst turns and tells Illthir, "She's an efreeti."
Walker kicks against his stall doors at the opposite side of the stable from Illthir.
This reveals the following to Illthir. She is an outsider of the fire subtype. Anything more will require a knowledge (planes) check (DC 23).
