Figuring nothing he'll say will likely come across creditworthy, Edward quietly talks to his compatriots.

"It was worth a shot. So, we go to the old 'if words fail, make them feel it' ?"

Edward summons a mandoline that bears some slightly different sounds from a regular one, and starts playing the first few notes of a melody.

Edward starts the intro of Foo Fighters' Pretender. Seems such a fitting song right now for his performance to hit off with soon.

The problem with that, is that anything i'd currently try to bluff, will take a -20 penalty if it is unlikely, on account of that high sense motive result.

Which could be pretty much everything i'd come up with.
I have no inspiration what could work right now, and aid other won't be used retroactively, from what i gather.

I'll always welcome any bluff assists. :P

I don't suppose any aid other rolls, and a guidance spell, could retroactively make the original bluff work? I was aware of the penalties, and was sort of hoping the others would boost it. It would beat his sense motive by 1 if so.

Edward assumes a pose of a man whose pride has been hurt. He hoped, likely in vain, that sowing discord in the ranks would give the team an edge when it came to starting the fight.

I can see your point.

I agree, that deliberately brainwashing enemies into your loyal followers, as often as possible, isn't too nice.

So far, Edward's been more supportive and a romantic. I admit, he has done 2 less morally savvy acts, but under his belief that by doing so, he was protecting his friends from further and future harm.

(Sorry Caulky, for making you believe a devil is after your soul :P )

Though i don't see Edward wiping memory drives left and right, but saving it for dire circumstances only. And who knows, maybe by then it won't be as important to have.

Modify memory is a fun one though, for bypassing social obstacles.
Ever seen a cleric become besties with a night hag, after the hag failed a saving throw?
