I think I can carry it and still be at a medium load, but I'll have to wait until tonight to check Hero Lab and confirm that. Even if it takes me to a heavy load, it won't matter very much - just -1 AC.

Eckowo eyes the lizard by his foot, then sighs and reaches into his pack for another ration to hand to it. "Is this what you want?" he mutters to it, before he somewhat sheepishly looks at Izabek and shrugs. "Maybe."

He steps into the room, then turns to the green-skinned rogue to see what she does with them.

"Oooww!" Eckowo howls, more in surprise than pain. He glares up at the ceiling, then grabs a chair and hurls it back up to smash against it, showering fragments back down.

Undeterred by the possibility of a hostile chair, he takes a different path through the mess, keeping an eye out for any chairs that might be worth breaking apart for loot.

Sorry for vanishing. I worked almost a week's worth of overtime from Thursday thru Monday of the holiday weekend. I'm still trying to get back on top of everything that fell by the wayside.

I'm posting this in all my games, then I'll go try to catch up and actually post in them. Expect something from me by the end of the weekend, if I don't get stuck with more overtime...

Yeah, I have the shortbow, 2 arrows, a longsword, and a morningstar on my sheet. I didn't think of them until after Izabek cast magic weapon, though. For the future, I do have an enchantable weapon that I'm proficient with.

For now, I think I'm going to go with the Improved Overrun feat, since straight hallways are great for it.

I'm also going to get spikes and throwing straps added to my shield for 60gp. If I can use it to actually throw it (I don't know if it can be retroactively added), that's great, but the primary purpose is to be able to drop it as a free action (heavy shields normally take a move action to remove).

Woo hoo! A place to rest safely. I'm at 26/36 after leveling and being healed. A night's rest will make it 29/36, which is close enough to full to make me happy. Another heal wouldn't hurt, though, if we have one to spare.

Anyone want to weigh in on feat selections for me? I can get Multiattack, which will make my natural weapons more likely to hit when also attacking with a real weapon, but I'm only going to be doing that in rare circumstances because of the damage penalty.
I can get Improved Unarmed Strike which does absolutely nothing for me now, but will allow me to get Feral Combat Training and then style feats later. Or I can get Weapon Focus now and (maybe) IUS later, if I can figure out which natural weapon to use (I have two claws, but they're also the ones lost by equipping gear).
I can get Improved Overrun with the intent of running through foes (and potentially knocking them down) to flank them from the other side.
I can get Bodyguard, which lets me boost your AC if you're attacked while adjacent to me.
Or, finally, there's a wide variety of defensive feats I could take.

Yep. It's a pretty common tactic. Cast, 5' step (or move!), then take your free touch attack. Magus do it all the time.

Yeah, the problem is that my strength mod is balanced by small die sizes. Against DR 5 or less, it's not a problem, but when my maximum per attack is in the 10-12 range...

That said, I didn't actually think those numbers through ahead of time either and I also expected to tear it apart, albeit slower than usual.

Not without a penalty, but that still may be better than the floundering we're doing. With flanking and a few aid-anothers, I could probably still connect, and I can put a lot of power behind it. Assuming I survive, anyway.

I hadn't made it to full, so I'm down to 4 hp now.

Having proved the uselessness of his natural weapons, and retreated so that others could beat on the thing ineffectively, Eckowo is quite grumpy. Then he becomes bloody and grumpy, which is even worse.

Snatching his looted sword from its sheath, he applies it's sharp edge to the stone beast, followed by the rest of him in hopes of scoring a lucky blow.

Don't forget to regain your 2 hp for resting, everyone. And can anyone make the DC 20 heal check (and have the healers kit) to restore more? Any non-magical healing is good healing.

Eckowo lashes out at any surviving zombies. "Die, evil rotting things." Irrelevant is the fact that they are already dead.

Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

Eckowo drops flat as the wave of fire blasts down the hallway, but unfortunately, he's just a moment too late and he takes the full brunt of it before he hits the ground.

3/23 hp now. I've got two CLW potions, which people are welcome to as needed.

"Gah, bring back Gronx or Harrienys..."
