I had a lot of fun, thank you for running it and letting me play up! Sorry to everyone for being mostly useless on the final fight, but hey I got one good shot in! Definitely going to keep playing this guy and eventually get him to Eldritch Archer.

"Well, you all did excellent!" Duath says joining the others, giving an apologetic bow...as he still drips from his time in the water.

He looks over the fallen enemies for anything of note, in case they run into the gnomes again as a good faith offering.

"Here is your bow back, I should be able to requisition one that won't break on me after this mission. I dishonored my name a few times over but we prevailed, that is what counts. Let us head back before more fey or wild creatures come down upon us."

Duath finishes pulling himself ashore and readying his bow.

"Finally..." he huffs while he fires of a shot from this new weapon at the blurred figure of orange.

Duath scoops up the bow and attempts to cross over quickly.

The elf makes it about halfway before splashing back into the water, cursing loudly.

He leaps onto the platform but quickly falls back in the water and starts swimming.

Dang, Seelah has a Composite bow over +2, I will take a -2 but I think that is better than getting smushed. Now I just have to make it back over...haha!

Failing the shatter on my bow didn't take my actions for the turn did it?

It is unfortunate but it definitely makes for a dangerous feeling that I don't often get at this level. Haha.

As his bow gnarls then bursts in his hands, you hear him call out in Elven...by the sound it is likely a curse.

Unfortunately that is very very bad for me. I can fight in melee but it is extremely risky for me at this level.

Could he move back to the bridge Aid Another for Kyra to get across?

"They are playing tricks like at the hut. Something was moving near the southern stones." he warns.

Once he gets safely behind his ally, he readies an arrow to fire at the first enemy he sees.

Duath sighs as the voice calls out...just as they deal with the current threat.

He pulls himself upward to get the snare around his legs loose, then heaves himself into the branches to avoid falling.

"Then it is time to head out. This proud son of Kyonin will not be bested by a pack of fey. I take it if we save the lorestone...you will allow us to study it without violence?" Duath says checking his arrows and asking a final question, for himself.

"The other is a Potion of Barkskin it seems as for the rest...I apologize as I have not concluded my arcane training. Yet, this atomie here is holding quite a bit of gear including a valuable onyx ring." Duath says kneeling down to gather the supplies.

When the group of gnomes approach he stops, instead picking up the atomie to show to them as well.

Diplomacy: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13

"It is true...the hut would be ashes by now had we not stepped in." he adds.

Duath quickly looks away when receiving the compliment from the paladin, Seelah.

"I-Thank you for the compliment. We all worked well as a team." he says with a nod before stepping outside to keep watch, and escape his embarrassment. He looks up wondering if Giren was still around.

"Giren, have you fled? Did you know those things were skulking in there?" he asks with some irritation in his voice.

"That got very...intimidating for me there at the end. Hopefully that is the last of them till we get everything under control." says Duath somewhat still shocked at the creature turning on him.

OH NO! I drew aggro, kill it Goldur and Hudor! Lol.

"My apologies, I am trying to take down this monster but my aim seems to be off today." he says getting frustrated at his performance in front of new people.

Duath steps up to get sight on the second creature and fires again.

Seeing a shadowy figure jump out and begin to assault the group, Duath releases the fur and grabs his bow.

"We weren't here to bother any fey...it was us who was assaulted." he replies attempting to fire a shot in the close quarters.

"Not I." Duath says as he moves up looking for a blanket or anything to help smother smaller flames.

"There could be information or supplies in there...if we can save some it may help Hemzel see our side." Duath replies now seeing the smoke. He motions for the group to possible salvage what they can, if they can't extinguish it.

"Duath Cuthalion of Kyonin. Yes, we seek Hemzel and now I am worried about his health." Duath adds his introduction as he loosens his grip on the bow.

"If you stand down and let us in, I will protect you from Cyflymder...whoever that is...myself. What kind of boss threatens their forces? Better yet...where is Hemzel?" Duath asks becoming impatient with the fey.

Duath kicks away the encroaching vines and stares at the fey.

"I will hold my arrow for a moment." Duath says quietly ready to fire.

Delay, seeing if the atomie responds to their words before attacking.

Duath becomes frustrated with no answer and the rats still encroaching ever closer. He sighs and takes a shot with his bow hoping to skewer at least one of the filthy creatures.

"Pardon the closeness of this volley, Hudor. If anything blame the rat handler."

Damage (P): 1d8 ⇒ 2 GAH.

Draw Weapon during move.

"Rats...really? Sending these filthy things after us before we have even spoken. Stop this at once and parley with us!" Duath gripes as well providing very little help to talking whoever it is down.

Preferring not to sit during important discussions, Duath rested upon one of the walls. His blonde-streaked brown hair was pulled back tightly into a ponytail, his ebon leathers immaculately clean, and an ornately carved bow strapped to his back. He was silent aside from a audible scoff at the Venture-Captains thoughts on the group.

I like Seelah but Lini also fills that nature aspect if we need it, not sure if we will.

Brief character description: Duath Cuthalion is from Kyonin but has begun to adventure with the Pathfinder Society, to build bridges and keep a watchful eye for any relics belonging to his people. Fighter now but will build towards Arcane Archer.

He carries himself with a regal air wearing ebony leather armor and an ornately carved longbow. He knows battle well and is willing to help, even those he may feel aren't up to Kyonin standards.

His last mission was actually with Hudor but as you can see he has been a bit busier.

Level 1 Ranged Fighter is my Core character. Only played Assault on Absalom so he can play anything pretty much.

Among the Living sounds like one you haven't played or GM'd.
