Male Human Commoner

What did he mean by undying? Dovar asks his companions, obviously confused.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar, who had readied an arrow on his bow, now held them limp at his side and stands, staring in awe at the giant beast that is coming towards them.

Male Human Commoner

I would be honored to hunt for your lost artifact with my brothers and sisters

Male Human Commoner

Dovar glares at Arda and rubs his head.

Why must she always do that? He thought to himself.

Making careless mistakes had always been in his nature and it was common knowledge amongst their clan that while he was skillful in many areas, he did not have the quickest of wits.

Dovar looks this "king" up and down trying to decern if what this man was saying was truth. Dovar had a deep rooted suspicion of most people especially outsiders.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Male Human Commoner

"I am called Dovar and if it is strong warriors that you seek you have come to the right place," Dovar finally says, trying to conceal his amazement at the flame that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. "but what is it that prevents your people from getting the artifact yourself?"

Male Human Commoner

Updated Dovar's descendant Dovar.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar spends his days exploring and hunting in the nearby jungle. He had one son with a woman from the other tribe. But she died in child birth and Dovar never took another mate. He spent most of his remaining years raising his son and teaching him about the jungle. He died after ingesting a the wrong plant. It was a painful and agonizing death but atleast his son learned a new plant that wasn't safe to eat.

Male Human Commoner

1 vote for +Wis and low light vision. I know that some people stayed with the other clan. How long did they stay for and could that affect the attribute that is increased, like one tribe focused on this and the other cultivated another?

Male Human Commoner

I am going to try to continue to post atleast once a day but I am on vacation and some of it will be out in the mountains and I don't know how reception will be. Just letting y'all know.

Male Human Commoner

His elation doesn't last long as the remaining birds are heading straight for them. Reath takes a hit from one of them and and Dovar decides that he must take action to protect his clan mates. He jumps out next to Reath and stabs at the bird with his spear.

Spear: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Letting out a ferocious yell Dovar drives his spear into the bird.

Will do.

Male Human Commoner

Sorry I spaced the damage, not used to hitting.

Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Dovar smiles in satisfaction of hitting something other than air for a change.

Finally I show that I am not completely useless out on a hunt. Dovar thinks to himself knowing that hitting a bird with a stone is a long way from taking down a fierce Jaguar, but it's a start.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar swears and loads and fires another sling bullet hoping to hit something other than air this time.

Sling: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Male Human Commoner

Dovar excited to be on the hunt fires the sling bullet he has prepared at the birds.
Slimg: 1d20 ⇒ 2

Too excited

Male Human Commoner

"Yes we hunt" Dovar smiles and takes a small bit of the meat and it is surprisingly good.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar puts away the javelin he is holding and lowers the spear he carries.

"Es Dovar" Dovar says with a small bow but he does not take any of the food.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar happily follows to meet Gorms people. His long spear is point down one hand and a javelin is in the other but he doesn't seem as timid as he was before.

Male Human Commoner

I think we should go with Gorm and make introductions but make it clear that he is not our prisoner.

Male Human Commoner

As they draw closer to the smoke Dovar grows more alert.

I hope that Gorm's people are as peaceful as he says they are.

Dovar keeps an eye out for guards or anything out of the ordinary in the jungle as they approach.

perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Male Human Commoner

No idea about either but I'm down for either.

Male Human Commoner

"A beautiful day to meet outside don't you think?" Finnrick says looking up at the sun. "I sure do hope the mayor gets here soon though, Millsy and I need to streatch our legs"

Finnrick plops down on the ground to bask in the sun and with a sigh takes a swig of his mead.

Male Human Commoner

I say we bring him

Male Human Commoner

Yeah hope everything is cool.

Male Human Commoner

"Gorm we go find help, where you live"

Dovar asks Gorm hoping to get some sort of direction to start searching.

"Mountains or sea"

Dovar draws a rough map in the dirt and points to where his tribe is.

survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
roll to see how accurate my map is if needed

Male Human Commoner

I personally was waiting to see if we any knowledge of a healing herb before trying to talk to Gorm, maybe he would be more inclined to help or even lead is there and be a mediator with his tribe but I'll just speak with him real quick I guess.

Male Human Commoner

"Doubt it was Millsy, though she does like trout, if I come across one I'll make sure to share it with you." Finnrick says to the dwarf with a laugh.

"Well it looks like I have work to do today," Finnrick says with a shrug, "Trelvar might I trouble you for a bottle of mead and a bottle of milk to go. It looks like I might have a long day ahead of me."

And with that he turned and strolled out the bar.

I wonder what they need me for? Secret Mission, ha I love Olmira, but she does have the funniest notions.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar wonders if there are any plants that he has seen during his time spent alone in the jungle around camp, or heard the elders speak of that might be able to help the wounded. Or atleast alleviate some of their pain.

knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Male Human Commoner

Dovar, who is generally quite when it comes to these types of decisions can't help but speak up.
"He Gorm and he no hurt us, why we kill him?"

"None of it will matter if he dies but we should do all we can to save him, not to mention Esta and Unas who need the same care."

Dovar thinks to himself after he speaks.

Esta and Unas need same help or they die. You know how?

Male Human Commoner

It has been a long day and exhaustion begins to overcome Dovar. Thinking that there is nothing more that can be done for the wounded tonight he builds them a fire to stay warm.
"Wake Dovar if need Dovar."
He says to his companions before leaving to find himself a comfortable place to get some sleep.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar watch, Dovar no heal.

Dovar watches after the captive and gives him pinches of his food and sips of his water.

I Dovar
Dovar says pointing to himself.
Who you? he says pointing to the captive.

Male Human Commoner

Two of those beasts live hear, we watch front? Dovar exclaims to the group as he walks over to Unas and Estas and offers them some water from his water skin.
Who you? Dovar asks the third man.
I offer him some water too if he doesn't seem hostile

Male Human Commoner

Now that there is more light Dovar attempts to take in his surroundings
what does the cave look like how long does it look like the man has been there. How many inhabitants does the cave have is it just the one Jaguar or is there evidence of more than one.

perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

+2 to that roll for identifying anything to do with the Jaguar.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar looks through the supplies that he brought and shakes his head,
"No torch".

Male Human Commoner

Dovar, realizing that any attack from this range would be futile runs to the corner and readies to throw a spear

Male Human Commoner

Dovar follows the group into the cave moving at roughly the same pace as Ayla but staying a few paces back and to the other side.

Male Human Commoner

Following the lead of his companions Dovar pulls a throwing spear out of the bundle and readies himself for battle. With a throwing spear in one hand and his long spear in the other. He creeps along the right side of the cave entrance and peers in.

Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Can I hear anything?

Male Human Commoner

Dovar feels a lump form in his throat as they approach Tono's body.

He was a good man, and strong, and now we are going after the beast that did this to him, I hope that the others are as strong as they act.

Dovar has been on the right flank of the group the whole time and stays there as the venture on keeping an eye out for any danger.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Male Human Commoner

As a group begins to form Dovar becomes anxious, this is his chance see if he can hit more than just a bush with his spears.

"I come too" Dovar grunts with less confidence in his voice than he was hoping for.

He threw his bundle of spears over his shoulder and took a step toward the group.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar spent his afternoon alone, as he often does, scouting close to the caves that the clan are currently using as a home in order to alert them of any danger that comes to near. As of yet he hasn't come across any real threat and spends most of his time practicing his shot with his sling and his throwing spears in preparation for the day he is allowed into one of the clans hunting parties.

Seeing a crowed begin to gather in the center of camp Dovar runs back but stays on the outskirts of the crowed, observing the scene and listen to Hesto's account of the Beast that attacked them.

"Maybe this is my chance to prove my real worth to the clan," Dovar thinks to himself as he clutches his spear tighter.

Male Human Commoner

I prefer humanoid as well

Male Human Commoner

Sorry I have been at work and have been following the conversations but haven't been able to post with quotes.

So

Geno the Chosen said wrote:
I have a question for our male characters: how do you feel about having an affair with Geno? Or having a relationship anyways... It could be all, find our love even after thousands of years of reincarnation thing

I have no problem having an affair or whatnot with another PC especially since we are in a clan with a bloodline, but seeing as I am not an alpha I'd have to prove myself in battle first.

Male Human Commoner

That's what I meant, I think, I honestly don't know what I am talking about...

Disregard my previous question,I read your post wrong, Dovar's lack of intellect must be rubbing off on me.

Male Human Commoner

You said you rendered Dovar, but where do I go to check it out

Male Human Commoner

I made Dovar 5'8" because I wanted him to be shorter than most of the men in the clan but I didn't know that the women were going to be quite so tall. I can change the height if we are going to be a tall clan though I still want to be the shortest male if not the shortest member.

Male Human Commoner

Just updated my appearance, still working on a background story.

I love the jungle setting and would vote for a valley, maybe with a small river running through it for the clan to fish and get water.

Here is the character I will submit a ranger may move into a druid/hunter class as time goes by we will see. Right now though he's just a simple spear chucker who provides food for the tribe. (will finish up the crunch soon but this is the basic outline) I like all of the settings but I think it would be cool to come back in maybe the same setting only during an ice age.
