Brimstone begins to chant in an ancient garbled tongue and throws out a hand launching a rock out and into the scrub across the water to attempt to cause some reactions. X : inspire courage

Hi all. I'm Douglas from Scotland and have been playing and running RPGs for more than a couple of decades now. Over that stretch I have run LARPs, campaigns and one shots across a hefty number of different systems. For PFS I have been involved for about 5 years now, starting as a player finding a way to play instead of always Gm, through to resident GM as part of the team to being the Venture Captain for Scotland for the past two years. I can be found lurking around the many discords out there and running games on the Roll for Combat discord. Hoping that helping out as mentor with one of these will help bring more people together and provide a fun time for all (without the usual worries of GM-ing in a new way for the first time). I am currently running two games on the discord for Play-Dis-con 2020 and find myself happy with 1-3 games GM PBP at a time (along with playing in 2-5 games)
This is where the warning to the paladin *player* that this would be an evil act comes in... and where if they choose to do so then they know it has chance of falling repercussions. If they eat the whole thing then it will be an outcome beyond it anyway so can be the tragic eternal struggle trapped there or whichever narrative way they continue it. They cannot physically intervene via PVP (and that rule is not overwritten in this case) but they can make their opinion known in character. Its part of playing a paladin in society and is the clause about working with evil where needed.
I am not sure how best to flag this one so giving it a go, the influx of so many races across the year+ of Starfinder has meant that they are seeming less valued and less of an interest as a GM convention reward. We have had the chance to get used to the core book, potential of legacy races as standard, chronicle boons unlocking races, play boons for more races and a stack of GM boon convention races (with double choices). I would like to suggest that for GM con boons would it be possible to do a race and a featured effect instead of the double boon - I know that we are new to the campaign but we really do have a lot of choices with another Alien Archives on the way... I know there will still be picks people will want to go for and more characters to build into but it does start to feel like we are gaining these faster than we can look up.

We break the opal - Ringo is happy and plans are set to find and break open the other three because the society can. Season 9: Year of the Sharknado... The elemental lords (evil flavored) mount a mass assault on the material plane and start causing havok to stop anyone who thinks gem breaking is a good idea! Duchess is the big bad and starts by opening a hole to the plane of air over The grand lodge and chaos begins...

"The warlock vigilante attacks with mystic bolts as though they were light one-handed weapons" means they are not made as unarmed or natural attacks (which is the trigger for touch discharging). By base line the step up from unarmed strike is made with this weapon, you do not get attacked via AOO, you do not get limited to your unarmed strike damage, you get mystic bolts instead. They are not treated as natural weapons, nor manufactured but a light non manufactured one. So if we take it as light for "for the purpose of making the attack" not damage but literally just to hit, we are hitting and multi-attacking etc as a light weapon (non natural, non manufactured). If the GM argued you use magic to get past the defense but do not touch them as there is a Mystic bolt between you and them then what other reasoning is there beyond it says melee touch. If you can find an argument to get past there then it will float better. I am looking for PFS myself so trying to work out if there is a more airtight argument beyond melee touch, if it was worded as an enhanced unarmed or natural attack then it would be much more straight-forward.
Congratulations on a first run in - don't forget to get some games in yourself than to be a slave to the screen - always good to have some of those PC near death experiences to talk about ;) oh and you can always come up with suggestions for your VL as well i would expect, dropping into part 3 of the three parter is not the easiest start so i would hope you would get some chances to pick things that are interesting for you as well. Lots of people who can give you suggestions if you have a preference on what interests you across Golarion!
Hmm.. wonder if people would have more respect if there was the equivalent high level send in the VCs scenarios to see what they are capable of as high level one shot characters in the same way the Aspis side has been done for the last few seasons. I mean even if they died in the mission, which Pathfinder faction would not be paying for the raise and retrieval (wait don't answer that one ;) )
